• Erik (8/5): Mooie kamer met goed uitzicht, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. - De locatie was prachtig, het uitzicht was op de Chao Praya rivier. Aan de andere kant was een oude tempel, die ik bezocht heb. Op loopafstand kon ik een scooter huren op verwijzing van de verhuurder.

Great and friendly hosts and amazing river view. Stunning sunrise and sunset! We stayed in the room with own private balcony and we loved it. Also next to a great massage therapist who is more of medical treatment. Soothing and very indulgent. There is two washing machines at the property that you pay from 30 baht depending on the temperature for your laundry.

Sie haben sich viel Zeit für uns genommen und wir könnten viele Spezialitäten probieren. Tolle Menschen, vielen Dank! Ausserdem liegt das haus am River und hat eine fantastische Terrasse! Wir kommen gerne wieder und bleiben wir länger, das ist sicher!

• DdVries83 (8/5): Schoon hotel bij vriendelijke mensen - Voor ons prima hotel voor 1 nachtje, kamer was schoon en netjes. De familie die het hotel runt is vriendelijk! Niet ver van bezienswaardigheden af en supermarkt + kraampjes dichtbij.

De kamers zijn simpel en beetje gedateerd maar dat maakt totaal niet uit. De auto mag je parkeren op eigen terrein. Geen ontbijt maar genoeg mogelijkheden om de buurt om wat te halen.
• Linda (8/5): Beautiful riverside location - Beautiful location on the river. The owner and staff were lovely and very helpful with suggestions of bike hire and sight seeing. Perfect balcony to watch the boat tours at sunset cruise by. Other guests were noisy outside our room late at night. Perhaps a cut off time in the common area at night since it's right next to the room would be appropriate.

• Ian (9/5): Convenient riverside lodging. - Small but adequate room, with balcony overlooking the river with good views of the river and passing river traffic and temple opposite. Set back from busy street, good restaurants nearby also mostly with good river views. Sprawling historic city starts across the road, but tuk-tuks or taxis needed to visit main attractions. Hosts kind and helpful, phoned economic Grab taxis for us, which are cheaper than tuk-tuks.
• Kenneth (9/5): Friendky guesthouse in quiet location - Quiet location looking onto the river and temple. Very friendly owners who gave very useful information on maximising time in the historical city; and recommended places to eat. Bed was comfortable and hot water available downstairs. Id prefer a cotton sheet in addition to a thin duvet. Chairs on the balcony hard wood and very uncomfortable. Towels were not cotton. Felt lije a synthetic material.

Made coffee on arrival, explained some places to visit and booked us a boat trip. Accommodation very simple and basic but fine for one night as spent little time there. Lovely spot on the river only short grab taxi from sights No coffee making facility in room and no breakfast option

The floor creaks every time you walk, no chair/ desk in the room to rest. They could just get rid of the tv (because it’s not working anyway) and use that as a table and chair.

• Elena (10/5): Very enjoyable stay and absolutely would stay here again. - The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. The location was also very convenient and the room was immaculately clean with an amazing view of the river on the balcony. There was nothing that we could fault during our stay.
• Sarah (9/5): I needed somewhere to stay near Bangkok while renewing my Vietnam visa and decided a place on the river in Ayutthaya was - View over the river. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Good location - easy to walk to places or take a bike. Would have been good to be able to move the TV so I could work on the table, rather than only being able to work outside, but that’s a minor thing and most people won’t be there working! It would have been a bit too small for two people for more than a night or two.

• Leanne (9/5): Fantastic guest house on the river! - Fantastic guest house on the river. The family team who run the guesthouse are fantastic, so helpful and welcoming, giving us great local tips - thank you! This was a beautiful, quiet spot to relax by the river after visiting the city temples.
• Sara (9/5): Wonderful riverside stay - Riverside location. Our room looked right onto the river. Fantastic view. The comfiest bed and linens! Aircon worked well. Right next to the historical park. Can rent a bike 2 mins walk away. Really friendly and helpful owner. Grab is available to get to night market for about 80 baht. Would be handy to have a kettle in room for convenience. 7 Eleven is a 5 minute walk away though.

• Poona (9/5): Superb - Cute wooden house located by the river and the view from balcony is amazing, especially in the early morning and night. Host was a nice and decent family, they gave good tips for sight seeing. And the communication was also good, room size meets expectation and the room is very clean. 1, because its wooden house, the sound proof is poor, you can hear the floor cracking from the rooms on the left, right and upstairs. And certainly we were making noise for downstairs too. My mom could not relax as we had to pay so much attention when walking around in the room. 2, it would be nice if there are chair and kettle in the room. 3,the chairs in the balcony have no back supporters and they are not comfortable.

We received many amazing tips to go around in the city and everyone was extremely helpful It is not the newest place and certainly not for everyone (more for those who seek a simole stay)

• Darren (8/5): Very good - This place was increeeeedible! Such a good view and such good value for money. Staff were so helpful showing us where to hire bikes and how to get to each of the temples safely. This would be 10/10 review if it wasnt for 4 things. 1) There was a lot of dust in the room, as an asthmatic that wasnt good. 2) There was a lil bit of mould in the shower but in such a humid area thats expected i guess. 3) Antssssssss, those annoying lil buggers were a tad present but that is likely this time of year (May). Lastly #4) It wouldve been nice to have had a dooner/rug the size of the bed not two half ones :) Dont let these things stop you from booking though as honestly this place was perfect still :)

• Worawan (9/5): Excellent service! - We were happy with our stay at Baan Keang Chon. The place is in close proximity with key tourist attractions, restaurants and cafés. The view of Wat Phutthaisawan is one of the highlights. Our host was eager to recommend us where to go, including a boat trip with a reasonable price. He was always available whenever we needed and also reserved a parking spot for us despite a limited space. Thank you so much for the hospitality!
