Guest Reviews
- Samah (2/5): Will never book here again - A few minutes after I booked the reservation, I get a direct message from the hotel through the app saying unfortunately we can’t host you due to unforeseen circumstances. They asked me to cancel the reservation from my end which involves a long and tedious process. The intermediary app kept calling the hotel asking them to confirm that they are indeed asking me to cancel, and they denied it. They wasted a few hours of my life trying to get this refund and kept saying they didn’t email me asking me to cancel, when in fact they did and I have the proof in my inbox. Very disappointed with this treatment
- Roula (2/5): - I went on time for check in . No one was there at the reception. I waited for 20 mn and no one show up. I called them many time no one answer my phone. I had to leave after that. The hotel isnt a hotel it is for sex and not to go as a family. I jeed my money back
- Rim (2/5): - The pictures and description do not match the property at all. There was no indoor pool, spa, sauna or any other amenities for leisure and entertainment, despite the fact that they were all mentioned in the description. The lobby and stairs leading up to the room were extremely dirty and not maintained properly. The rooms are not soundproof. The shower door was unstable, and got stuck halfway while trying to open it. The resort did not provide soap or towels until we asked for them. And even then, the towels were a bit wet and didn’t seem very clean. There was a hairdryer installed on the wall, but the cable was too short and it could not reach the power outlet. Extremely poor engineering! We had booked the room to enjoy the indoor pool mentioned in the description, but as it turns out, there was no indoor pool. However, we had to stay in the room because the weather was awful and we could not leave.
- Heidi (2/5): - The riom was mouldy and triggered our asthma. Without power, we could have a shower. Had to leave after 1 night.
- Samer (2/5): - Worst experience ever! No hot water, no electricity, no proper assistance, no desk at night, unsafe. Not recommended at all.
- Moussa (10/5): - Mycket bra läge, stora , fina rum, men tyvärr sliten toa/Bad. Servicen är utmärkt , pwrsonalen vid receptionen är bäst.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Etablissement comportant se nombreux servixce pour passer de bonnes vacances
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel was lovely, Carolina the hotel manager made us feel very welcomed and made sure every day if we were happy or needed anything, the staff there were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel and the price was reasonable for this time of year. I would definitely come back next year.
- karzan (10/5): Best hotel in Beirut - We had great week at Senses hotel. Everyone who was working there treat us very nice and the staff was very kind. Angela or Angel as we called her was superstar at reception.
- Sonny (8/5): Great and kind staff, but needs refurbishment. - Very nice hotel staff, who did a great job. Rooms are worn, ispecially bathrooms. A lot of noice during the evenings, nights, from the hotels arrangements or the neighbor hotels parties.
- Olof (10/5): Vacation in Beirut - Very good hotel and good service a fantastic gym and the pool area was clean and great.
I highly recommend this hotel in Beirut.
But if you want to go swimming in the ocean you have to go further from Beirut.
Because the ocean is hazardous to swim in cause of all the pollution.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - staff were super nice. I enjoyed my stay and I would recommend senses to all travelers passing in Lebanon and wish to experience the seaside as well as good food, excellent service and cleanliness.
- michael (8/5): Best hotel! - Wow, great hotell, the service and the staff are amazing. The location is good, the breakfast is super. I really recommend this hotel. I visit Beirut every summer and for now on, I will only stay at senses. Thanx for this time // You Swedish guest!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff were welcoming as soon as I walked in the door. They even upgraded my sweet to a sea view with balcony. The gym has 3 levels and caters for everything. Pool is amazing and whenever I need my laundry done they had it return to me the same day. I Recomend this place to anyone.
- Dakka (10/5): - not far from down town, amazing spot to relax and enjoy the sea view with your lover
- Verified traveler (10/5): - nice & very clean hotel, close to major areas of beirut, Metn & keserouan,
they offered free upgrade & early check in at the arrival.
staff are kind & helpful.
very good breakfast especially when they offer both option (buffet or in room breakfast)
highly recommended.
- Saad (10/5): - We had very nice time at the hotel, staff was very friendly, breakfast was nice
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel with amaizing views front of the beach. It's recommeneded for 1 to 2 nights stay.
- Hans J (6/5): Nice place by the sea - Nice place by the sea. They do have a way to go on service, language and cleaning. Having said that, it is a nice place outside Beirut, if you stay on 2nd or 3rd floor.
- Ayman (8/5): - فندق ممتاز لقضاء يومين اجازة
- Antoni (10/5): Amazing! Will go back. - Honestly outstanding. Have to give credit where credit is due, and Wisam from the hotel Staff was s incredibly nice and humble. He genuinely wanted to help...
Due to water leakage from the ceiling in our room (City View) we were upgraded to a Sea View room for 2 nights, completely free. The owner/manager was there daily to make sure everything was up and running as it should. The service was great. Staff were very helpful. The pool was clean and deep enough to dive in. Food by the pool could be better, the arguileh (shisha) was refreshing by the pool. Every morning, we had great, freshly served Lebanese breakfast.
One thing me and my girlfriend really appreciate is the fact that we could have friends and family over at any time for free. Even by the pool, which the hotel would usually charge 25.000 LL ($16-17). Entrance for.
The gym was well equipped, fresh and opening hours were long. I believe it was 07-23.
One downside would be the rooms not being soundproof (even though advertised as such). We could at times hear people walking in their flip flops at night. Could definitely hear people when taking at louder volumes.
Oh, and the hotel is located close to pretty much anything. Cafes, restaurants, beaches, pharmacies, grocery stores, night clubs, pub streets, shopping etc.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable and nice people - They focused on making sure you were comfortable during your visit. Want to get to know people and staff, learn about good Hangouts and nightlife? Live here.
- Elie (10/5): Everything was great - The place was amazing and everything was well organized from A to Z, all the staff knew there jobs properly and did them as they were asked to, it’s a place that I would definitely head too again
- Dr.farid (8/5): Nice hotel , sea view , near beach - Good location , near beach , good view , good staff , nice balcone
- Verified traveler (2/5): Thieves don't stay there, I got robbed! - I was robbed in this hotel, I left my money in my carry on bag in the room considering it safe like hundreds of the decent hotels I stayed in around the world but I was wrong, 1 hour before I leave to the airport I wanted to take my money I put in the bag but only found the change left there while they took all the 500 bills.
I complained to the hotel manager who was frustrated with the event but when she called the hotel owner who told her to wait & do nothing I was extremely disappointed, I called the police who wanted me to come to the station to file a report but I had a flight in less than 2 hours I would have missed it if I did (I almost missed it). Hotel management promised to look at the cameras & investigate & return my money back but of course no feedback once I left the hotel! They were only fast in debiting my credit card with the full amount of my stay. Except for the manager & one receptionist most of the hotel crew are not professional & lack experience beside having thieves among them. Don't stay there,
- tony and lisa (10/5): the best of Beyrut - there other hotel like this: but they are double the price. and the don't have receptionist as good and efficient as Bob.
- Katie (6/5): Nice hotel overall, but not worth repeating - Overall staying at this hotel was a pleasant experience. Having said that, however, I don't think we would stay here again. For starters, the 'sea view' in the deluxe room was more of a pool view, which wasn't very appealing in the winter with an empty pool. You could only see a small sliver of the sea from our room which was disappointing. People should also consider that the balconies are not private and the rooms are not soundproof at all - my husband and I could hear our neighbors or people walking/talking outside in the hallway. Additionally, the breakfast, while generous, was not very appetizing. The one thing we really enjoyed about this place was the location; there are plenty of small shops and nice restaurants nearby that you can walk to and just spend an afternoon exploring. Since we stayed in the winter it was nice to have an alternative to the beach. The staff were also very kind and professional. That being said, while it was an okay experience I don't think it is one we would repeat simply because the price didn't match with the quality we were anticipating.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice hotel great staff very good service - Hotel stuff very helpful allowed us to stay extra because of broken down car very friendly and caring
- Regina (10/5): Amazing Beach Resort - Breathtaking view, clean and modern resort. Hotel staff made me feel comfortable right from the start and attended to all my needs. Daily breakfast buffet made getting out of bed a lot easier. Gym/pool access added to my list of daily activities. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!
- vahe Aram (6/5): - It could've been new and better condition the location is good
- abdullah (10/5): Very comfy - I had great time in Sense hotel Kaslik. The service is great. The stuff was very friendly and welcoming. For sure I will come back to next time. Big thanks to Mrs. Ella and Mrs. Marie Helena Mrs. Staphany
- kenan (2/5): bad bad choice - it was very bad choice with very bad services; never recommended a lot of drilling, some maintenance in the roof that made me jump from bed, uncomfortable mattress, a lot of noise all over the place, small bath room, good house keeping but very bad room service nd food was not served with plates!! can you imagine that the rate is 140 $!! it's very higher price compared to neighboring hotels.
I planned to stay 5 days; I barely endured staying the first night when I left in the morning they asked for covering the 5 nights!!! and later, they accepted to deduct only three nights....
I hope to remove it from your hotel suggestions
- salma (10/5): Lovely stay. Very relaxing. - We loved the pool. It was beautiful weather and spending the day by the pool in the sun was great! Really good location, close to everything but as with everything in Lebanon, you need a car to get anywhere. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very respectful and they all spoke English with my husband which he appreciated. The only negative I can think of is the noise all throughout the night with the music blaring. If you go to bed late and don't mind it then it is fine. But if you want an early night in, it will be rare in the summer as they often have one or two events in the evening.
- paul (8/5): - nice location and facility
breakfast was good
pool was good
room was very nice
staff is nice but not very professional
they try hard though
- Steven (8/5): Lively hotel - Very nice hotel in a great location friendly staff
- Verified traveler (8/5): 3 nights in Senses - The stay started a bit on the bad side. The hotel forgot to send a taxi to pick us up from the airport, they night front desk could speak no other language but Arabic (tried French and English) and gave us the wrong room.
Next day everything was sorted out and the people were exceptionally polite and made sure that the remaining of our stay was great.
Maybe these mishaps were because it is the beginning of the season and things are not very well organized yet.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Find another place to stay... - Tina at the front desk and the house keeping staff were kind/helpful. The rest of the staff was average at best.
Bed was comfortable but the room was filled with ants and mosquitoes. One of the noisiest hotels I've ever stayed in.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great service! Friendly staff, breakfast to the room, lovely balcony and spacious room. On the negative side: there seemed to be a lot of water damage - including one on top of our bed in the ceiling, and the wifi was very poor.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely staff, really helpful. Hotel really convenient for day trips to tourist attractions. Excellent gym and fitness centre.
- gary (6/5): Out of season and I shows - There was no bottled water in my room
The wifi was poor
No one had correct info i.e. When breakfast was served so I went down at 7am and was then informed it was 8am
Towels were old
Area is bad
I know it's out of season but area should look better, hotel should look better
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel close to the beach - Was a great stay; however it was a little noisy due to some work construction inside the hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): professional friendly and easy going - super friendly staff. smiley and flexible
- George (10/5): Amazing Service and Attention, 6 Stars not 5! - I stayed towards the end of October at Senses on my trip to Lebanon. Where do I begin? The service was the most fantastic service I have ever received, the grounds were kept to perfection. You need anything from anyone at the hotel they are there quickly and with so much professionalism you can not believe it. If you stay with a seaview room, you have a beautiful view, beautiful patio area and you will not want to leave the hotel. Do you need anything? They will bring it to you, I will be staying again for sure! I want to thank the whole staff there for being so amazing and being such great people. I will recommend to each and everyone of my friends who go to Lebanon for vacation. Looking forward to seeing you next time.
- Marwan (10/5): Relaxing and clean Hotel - Senses 's management and stuff are welcoming and generous. The place is relaxing, clean. We didnt access the pool so i can't give any comment. However, the experience was great and i recommend Senses.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great Staff and Good Swimming Pool - Was relaxing and pleasant, the staff were very helpful and welcoming.
