Guest Reviews
- John (10/5): - The surrounding grounds are beautiful.
- Greg (8/5): - Room was clean. Building was beautiful. A funky odor in the hallway.
- Sheila (10/5): - Such a beautiful property, cozy room, kind staff, and we enjoyed the fabulous food we had at the restaurant. Cool bar and friendly bartender. Great place to celebrate our anniversary!
- Anthony (10/5): - Food was great service great room was clean and quiet
- Jed (10/5): - Beautiful establishment
- Deborah (10/5): - Very clean. Great dining experience.
- Tammy (10/5): - Beautiful grounds
- Sharon (8/5): - Very quaint building. Comfortable bed and room was just right for myself. Didn’t have much time to look around but really wanted to. Heard you had beautiful grounds and good restaurant. Stayed there as I drove kids to Camp Orchard Hill and needed accommodations close by. Left early in the morning and came back late at night. Never saw anyone at the desk which was strange for me. Everything worked out. Thanks for the stay. The scones for breakfast was a nice touch.
- Jayne (10/5): - Top notch staff and property.
- Robert (10/5): - Exceptional dining experience!
- Tim (10/5): - It was great. Only thing I wish they would told us how to use the hot water
- Gerald (10/5): - Only thing is A/C - heater is a bit loud. Other than that, it's one of our favorite intimate getaways!!
- Franklin D (10/5): Wonderful Roadside Inn - We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay while on a 2 week road trip. The inn has an excellent restaurant, dinner only. Loved the scones for breakfast. Great coffee station on the guest floor. Generous supply of bottled water. Lovely landscaped gardens. It is roadside on a busy country highway with loud trucks so we were glad to pack earplugs. Never travel without them. Nicely decorated room and very comfortable bed.
- Emily (10/5): Great stay - We had a wonderful stay at The Beaumont Inn! My partner and I traveled up from Philly to hike at Ricketts glen state park and wanted to stay overnight somewhere close. We had dinner at the inn and all the food and cocktails were amazing!!
- Gene (8/5): - Beautiful grounds
- Gina (10/5): - Staff and service was excellent
- Jayne (10/5): - Cozy, comfortable and modern …would definitely stay here again and add a dinner reservation. This is a wonderful spot for an overnight or weekend getaway. Close to Misericordia University, Harvey’s Lake and many hiking trails. The front desk staff (Channing) had excellent communication skills and really made us feel welcome and reassured as we had a late check-in. Complimentary coffee and tea and a delicious blueberry scone were very appreciated. Thanks!!
- Leif (10/5): - Beautiful building and property. Staff was amazing . So kind and helpful. Will defiantly stay here again.
- Sandra (10/5): - The room was lovely. The staff was nice and friendly. The outdoor space is lovely. We were there for a memorial celebration of life for my uncle. The outdoor pavilion was great. I would definitely stay there again.
- Gretchen (10/5): - I love this place, it's my go-to when in the area.
- Carol (8/5): - Charming place to stay although the mattress was very old and uncomfortable as were the pillows. I would not stay here again unless they upgraded the mattress and pillows. You could see the outline of the mattress springs.
There is no excuse for what we had to sleep on.
- Gerald (10/5): - Quaint, romantic getaway!
- Gerald (10/5): - Quaint, romantic Inn away from the city. We stayed while visiting Ricketts Glen.
- Jack (10/5): - a lot of green area
- vicente (10/5): - It was very quiet and simple. Everything was easy and accomidating.
- Sandra (8/5): - Beautiful property. I felt the cleanliness of room was not up to par. Bathroom had cobwebs on ceiling and in light fixture. Area around shower also could have been cleaner. Grounds are gorgeous, and dinner was excellent
- JONATHAN Allen (10/5): - Beautiful inn in a bucolic setting. The only downside is its proximity to Rte. 309. So you do hear traffic noise wehn a car or truck drives by. Otherwise, wonderful!
- Jon (10/5): - Beautiful hotel, comfortable, and reasonably priced.
- Susan (10/5): - Well maintained beautiful property. accommodated my later arrival (after 9pm) even with a wedding going on very quiet Only there for a short time but would book again Close to colleges and restaurants
- Michael (10/5): - Lovely
- Cynthia (8/5): Beautiful place - I stayed in the smallest room, which was fine as I requested it since I was traveling solo. The room was clean, the bathroom had been updated recently. The bed was softer than I like, but for 2 nights it was okay. There was a bit of information lacking upon check in, had to come downstairs to ask for the wifi password. The associated restaurant was expensive but with very good food. The grounds are lovely and well maintained.
- Kathleen (10/5): Short Stay - Just a quick overnight. Wish we had more time. Lovely grounds, patios to just sit and watch the creek flow by.
- Kathleen (8/5): Charming - The Beaumont Inn is very charming. The first floor is a top-notch restaurant: amazing food, well-serviced, menu is extensive and clearly marked for gluten-free and vegetarian options. Alongside the restaurant is a cozy bar/lounge with an impressive and creative cocktail menu. Doors from the Lounge lead to a grand outdoor patio, complete with heaters, tent coverings, multiple levels, surrounded by immaculately manicured gardens and all leading to a picturesque stream. Follow the footbridge over the stream where you’ll find a separate wedding venue.
The second floor of the Inn is for lodging. Our room was small but clean and with a very modern bathroom. Our mattress and pillows were definitely a bit soft for our comfort, but not much of an issue.
We stayed here while attending events at nearby Misericordia University. Very convenient for that. Highly recommend!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Absolutely a fantastic experience. Igloo dining was spectacular
- Rick (10/5): Excellent Place - Beautiful grounds, service was excellent. Food was outstanding.
- Lauren (8/5): - The inn part was wonderful! Clean rooms, cozy feeling, charming building, scones delivered everyday! The restaurant part was nice! Great food and service! Downside is that these 2 parts seem to work independently of each other. So there is no room service or the flexibility to change your plans and opt to enjoy your quiet room with a movie and a meal in bed unless you want to eat at the time they would seat you in the dining room- which after a long day of hiking, you’ll be lucky if that is before 8pm! If you leave the building and come back when they are prepping to open the restaurant, the lock your key is supposed to open will unlock, but it seems like servers lock the second lock that guests can’t unlock when they arrive for their shift. There’s a doorbell next to the door, but when we rang that and someone finally answered, we were greeted with a very rude “Can I help you?”. It seems like most of the restaurant staff forgets that there are also guests staying which does take away from the experience and ability to come and go as you please outside of the hours the restaurant is open. We enjoyed our stay but do wish that they were able to mesh the two parts together so that guests could better enjoy their stay. I’ll have to consider other options the next time I return to the area before booking my stay here, but if I ended up here I know that I’ll just have to plan better since they don’t give you much information in the guestbooks in the rooms.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Check In times not accurate - Room was great but check in process was a bit strange. Website says check in is at 3 but all the doors to the place were locked until 430 so you couldn't actually check in like it said.
- Pavel D. (10/5): Awesome - .
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quick get away - Beautiful Inn and grounds. Clean room and friendly staff. Parking spaces should be numbered by room so that if there is an event going on, guests are guaranteed their spot. Food was delicious and Bloody Mary's , one of the best .
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Beautiful propert and scenery but there isnt a frig or microwave in the room. There is a dining room, but its expensive, and bar with a bar menu
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The outdoor property is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable & clean. Disappointed there was no breakfast. Thought cost was high with no extra services provided to customer.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very pleased with this location. Very clean. Very helpful, friendly staff. Beautiful grounds. this is just located in the middle of no where.
- adam (8/5): Beautiful rental spot with nice dining attached - Beautiful rental spot with nice dining attached we were In town visiting Family for Easter. Liked the scones in room upon checkin, bar was nice and people are friendly. We had to ask to get room cleaned after first night which was a little strange - but overall nice- we’ll be back
- AHMED (10/5): Love the Beaumont - Loved the hotel, great place very friendly. will be back
- Wendy (10/5): - Very nice place. Beautiful gardens and fire pits. Very friendly and helpful staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My wife and I absolutely loved our stay here! I don’t have any complaints.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - my only complaint is the heat/air unit is to loud it keeps you up all night
- Ellen (8/5): Historic charm and comfort - This is a very nice historic bar/restaurant/inn. Our room was nicely appointed, comfortable, and had a pleasing modern bathroom and shower. We did not eat at the restaurant, so no opinion. Only glitch was checking in and out. It was not our usual experience. There is no clearly designated lobby, and the only doors were locked, because the manager was upstairs when we arrived. Surprising because I had arranged for early access to our room. Everything was okay once the manager realized we were there.
- dave (2/5): Do NOT STAY HERE - No micro no refrigerator no staff in hotel from Sunday till Tuesday. No ice DO NOT STAY HERE
- Michael (8/5): Location Lacking -- would be great somewhere else - This is a cute but dated inn, with a wonderful back patio, rear yard and event space, but it is within about 20 feet of a high-speed rural highway in the middle of nowhere. Unless you have a reason to be here, I would recommend looking for something in a nearby town.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We went to a family reunion at Franco Slocum Park and the Inn wasn't far! The weather was perfect to eat dinner and brunch outside ! The landscaping was awesome! Gorgeous flowers! Rooms were perfect and very clean!
- Terri (10/5): Great getaway! - The staff at the Beaumont were very helpful and friendly. The room was superb and the grounds are gorgeous. We appreciated that we could take a hike on the hotel property. The patio dining area was great and the food was very good.
- Joseph P (10/5): Beautiful and relaxing, with a few hiccups - We stayed here for a mini-vacation, just the two of us, and had a really lovely time. The Inn is beautiful inside and out, with a large, attractive and comfortable outdoor seating area, live music, great food, and friendly patrons and servers. Absolutely recommend it for a quiet get-away. A few things that weren't great: the inn is on a busy road, which can be noisy. The staff sprayed our bedspread with febreeze or something similar (to take wrinkles out) so heavily that it was wet, and the smell was overpowering - we had to remove some of the bedclothes and open all our windows. And the outdoor area was being reorganized, so the yard games weren't in use - we'd been looking forward to bocce, horseshoes, etc. But hopefully that will be back online when they finish their new event pavillion, which looks like it will be very nice. Also fyi, they are closed Monday; you can stay overnight Sunday but there isn't any breakfast available.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Charming, historic building, great hospitality and - Very good but more expensive dining room but great lounge and bar menu as well
- Verified traveler (10/5): Service with smiles.... - Over and over and over again... consistent. The service, comfort, nothing is missed... the property is gorgeous, the creek in the back wonderful...
