- William (6/5): A good value for the money unless having a good breakfast is important for your stay. - Friendly staff. Big room with divider curtain between bed and seating area. Nice exercise room with treadmills and free weights. Free breakfast is of poor quality. Shade blocking light could not be pulled down fully leaving light in day and night. It could not be fixed during our stay.

A huge shoutout to Theresa in the front office, she was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond with anything I needed or asked about. She made the whole experience so much better. Highly recommend this place, especially because of staff like her!
- Nikki (1/5): Okay. - Bed was comfy No one said anything about having to pay a deposit when we got to the hotel. We had paid for the hotel beforehand, so the fact that since “we booked 3rd party” we had to pay additional. This is very frustrating when you’ve been traveling all day to get to the hotel to check in with these problems. If someone was solo traveling and didn’t have the extra funds to provide more money to the hotel, knowing they already paid for a stay. Why would this hotel be listed on a 3rd party if they make you pay a deposit to check in.

- pennymA5048QE (10/5): Excellent experience - Everything was excellent and clean. The breakfast was extremely great and the breakfast lady Ms. Annie was wonderful .We were there for a funeral and she was very comforting. From the desk was nice also.
- bryanu925 (10/5): Great Place to Stay - Management and front staff very kind and accommodating with reserving room and simply saying "hello" each morning. Room was very clean and comfortable beds. Very convenient with the small kitchenette in the room. Highly recommend staying here if visiting in the area for pleasure or work.

On Sunday morning we were still at the hotel and house keeping knocked on the door and just walked in and we hadn’t even checked out yet. We’ve stayed in a lot of Home 2s all over and have never had this happen. EVER!!!!! And got the extra blanket out and it had blood on it. I’m not sure what’s up here but generally always have great stays here. That’s why we always go out of our way to stay at Home 2 hotels. But other than that it was a nice hotel.

We closed the bathroom door, and all this hair went everywhere in the bathroom. I cleaned it,myself, with one of their towels. Also, refrigerator was empty but smelled like something spoiled in it. Other than that, we thought this room was exceptionally clean and comfy!

Please add oatmeal to your breakfast. Most places have it and was surprised it wasn’t there. Mattress may need to be replaced. Very soft and sloping to the middle. Pillows need to be replaced. Clumpy.

Draw curtain to enclose bed somewhat. Very good shower. Sufficient gym. Disappointing breakfast not as good as that of a Hampton Inn.

- Michael (2/5): - I've stayed at this property for a number of years now. From the best of times to its steady decline. It's been a continuous decline. The other factor is the Expedia booking. Second class rooms are a standard at many brands when booking through Expedia. Loud room, next to elevator, cracks in the shower, tv remote doesn't control TV or all these factors in this most recent visit. I'm over the second class garbage being subject to when booking through Expedia.

Pool was freezing and no towels available, shower in room was dirty, at breakfast the waffle batter was runny and at the bottom we asked about it before using. The worker was rude and said “it’s been fine all morning” without checking what we were saying. We used it. Waffles were a mess. So she came and realized it needed refilled. We had stayed at a Home2suites previously in a different area and it was very clean and a good experience so we didn’t question trying this. Never again.

The breakfast was good prefer the buttermilk waffle mix and you had only one kind of yogurt . The breakfast juices taste really good . The shower pressure could be better. 5 stars here because all the staff helped make my 60th birthday wonderful would book again ...Home2suites is the way to go ....

The management team does a good on keeping the place and reserved. I love it here it’s like a home away from home, peaceful and pleasant. I wouldn’t think for one moment that Home2 would be my choice.

- carla (6/5): - The staff was great. The location was convenient. The parking was generous. I was disappointed that there was not a bathtub. I drove 5 straight hours in the rain and would have preferred to have a relaxing bath. There was not any lotion or hair conditioner in the room. I wasn't there to cook but the fridge had smudges of something on one of the shelves and on the exterior of the door.
- 390ondras (10/5): Home Away From Home - I have been staying at Home 2 Independence, Ohio for the last 7 month due to a house fire. I Love the Staff and Leader of this team. I watch the Leadership with her hands tools over see this establishment with great care. She makes sure All her guests are well provided and cared for. The pool was disgusting! So dirty and slimey. Breakfast was gross, hard and cold. No juice or anything for kids to drink. I also didn't like that the site says $75 hold and when you get there it's actually $150 hold for damages., we only stayed 1 night.

Weird smell in the hallway, no one really working the reception desk, it seemed like a deserted island. Our room was okay, it seemed like a recently updated property with some hiccups - bathroom door didn’t close all the way, ran out of tp, no house keeping, very low water pressure in shower.

- H9580VBed (2/5): Terrible manners - The WORST front desk person named Reed(at least that’s what he said his name was) EXTREMELY rude. Should never be in customer service. SCREAMED at my husband in the lobby and then was mad when we reacted to his awful behavior. He was so put off with us from the moment we checked in. This person should NOT be around guests at all and I guarantee this is not the first complaint he’s received. I will say the manger I finally was able to speak to was incredibly kind. But the guy contacted her first before we got to tell our side. We will be escalating this to corporate. We are diamond members and are really suppose to even be greeted differently. Not that we care about that, but this was trash! Not impressed with anyone in Cleveland honestly. Just stay away from the entire city! Tired rooms also. Hotel needs updated.
