Guest Reviews
- Miller (7/5): -
- Samantha/ Justin (4/5): -
- Martin (2/5): Not nice, place to sleep that's about all - Room was in very bad shape. Needed complete renovation. Bathroom was nasty. Floors were very nasty. Sheets were stained and dirty.
- Allison (2/5): Zero stars. Filthy. - Based off the reviews I thought this would be a decent motel. It was awful. We opened the door to filthy carpets, we striped the beds to find bed bugs and a large dead bug under one beds sheets. There was another large dead bug in the bathroom. I mean I guess I’m glad that those large bugs were dead but there was clearly bed bugs, and I wasn’t taking a chance to see if those little guys were dead or not! Thankfully they gave me a refund right away, but that was truly the most awful and disgusting motel I have ever see.
- Barb (2/5): - I didn't even stay. I lost my room fee, but i wouldn't let my worst enemy stay there. Disappointed Expedia even suggested this property.
- Danielle (2/5): - We booked because of good reviews. But when we arrived the first two rooms they offered us smelled like people smoked in it. The manager was nice enough to offer us another room. We accepted and brought our stuff in. We were exhausted from traveling and wanted to take a shower and sleep. The rooms are out dated and smell stuffy, but we could live with that.
But then we discovered the toilet seat and bath tub were not clean, there were hairs all over. The sink still had tooth paste in it from the former guest. And the bed sheets had stains too. We were too tired to ask for another room, doubting there was anything better. We decided to wash ourselves at the sink and sleep in our own blankets.
We will not go back
- Summer (2/5): Nobody there to check me in - Nobody was there to check me in. They left a note saying they went grocery shopping and would be back in 20. They left a number to call for assistance. i called and left a message and never heard back. i had to go to another hotel. Hotels.com never responded to me about a refund either. The smell in that office was so disgusting. I cant even explain what it was.
- Marino (6/5): - Upon arrival at 6, I had to wait a while more because nobody was there to check me in. When I got into the room, there was about 6 flies flying around. There was an odd smell from the ac I’m guessing too.
- Verified traveler (6/5): business trip - I had to fight with crickets and some other bug (not bed bugs).
- Tabtiha (10/5): - Was a great stay friendly and comfortable
- Robert (8/5): - Staff very courteous. Property in some disrepair, but quiet and comfortable.
- Eric (8/5): - It is right off the highway. Lots of parking. The building is older but had what was needed. Not a luxury place for the family just a stop and go place. Not many places to eat around the area.
- Jason (2/5): - This is the wost place I have ever stayed- I need to reconsider my life choices. I actually asked them if they were even open - broken windows and toilets outside. I have this a one star because 1 - no bedbugs - apparently the bedbugs have higher standards than I do and 2- the roof was not leaking - full disclosure it was also not raining, but credit where credit is due. Almost all the reviews are fake - almost all are from one person. This should be delisted from Expedia. Shame on you Expedia.
- Sariah (2/5): - They informed us after a 13 hour drive they had cancelled our reservation due to “overbooking” the rooms that had plumbing, trying to convince us to stay for free without running water all night. No thank you.
- Hannah (6/5): - You get what you pay for it was this hotel one double the price. They dont appear to have housekeeping as you walk in the room and their is hair and dirt all over bathtub. As well as the safety aspect of not having a chain lock on the door also anytime the doorbell was pushed for front office in the room i was in it would ring clear as day so false advertising saying sound proof room staff is nice atleast.
- Maureen (6/5): Good value - Comfortable bed and working AC outweighed aesthetics. Value commensurate with price. Friendly staff.
- matt (4/5): - Place is a litlenrun down. I didn’t have much hot water. Had an ew of shadiness. I should have investigate and checked the background of the area. Had I, I likely would of traveled on for a more relaxing place to stay.
- Joan (2/5): - Reviews did not reveal what a dump this is. They had no record of our reservation and then couldn't honor it because of plumbing problems. We were relieved not to have to stay there and fortunate that the one other place next door had a room.

- marsha (10/5): - Dont go on look outside rooms are clean price is right
- marsha (10/5): - It’s very affordable but very clean. You can tell there is a lot of effort put forward to make sure it’s clean and stocked with coffee and shampoo and things the beds are comfortable too.
- marsha (10/5): - Great place to stop for the night before a work training. Clean and easy to find.

- marsha (10/5): - Would stay here again
Nice hotel with wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again on future trips.
- Andrew (10/5): Good for a stopping place on a trip. - No frills hotel. Looks a bit run down outside, room was a bit dated, but it was clean and was within walking distance of pretty much the only business in Eads (Dollar General). Easy parking if you're pulling a trailer though.
- marsha (10/5): - We were very happy with the price and the accommodations of this hotel
- marsha (10/5): - Good for our stay, Great staff, Clean room.
- marsha (10/5): - clean room great staff fair price

- Karlie (4/5): - Just forego here and stay at cobblestone.
- David (4/5): Disappointing -
- KM (6/5): - Friendly check in. Dated and worn rooms but decent beds. If all you want is a few hours sleep then this place will do.
- Tiffany (2/5): - Bed bugs!! My son woke 1.5 hours into stay COVERED in bite marks. We pulled back the blankets to find MULTIPLE BED BUGS!
The guy who checked us in was moaning from a back room, but didn't come up to the bell ringing. We left upon packing up our stuff in trash bags, as quickly as possible. Absolutely disgusting. SHOULD NOT BE ON EXPEDIA!
- Michelle (7/5): Very friendly cat and a place to sleep. No frills room - Comfortable, clean room Lots of noise from people walking around in the room above me
- Judith (2/5): - Expedia needs to omit this property from their website. It gives them a bad name. After surveying the office, property, and people hanging around there was NO WAY we were staying there. Filthy. Didn't feel safe. Only good thing was that the mgr refunded my money.
- aaron (6/5): - We got exactly our $60 worth. The owner was excellent- kind and helpful. The room in general looked old and tired. The carpet was stained and torn. But the mattress and pillows were comfortable. The shower was hot. We would expect no more for that bargain price. If you expect more for $60 then this is not your hotel. If you want a comfortable bed and clean bathroom, then this is a steal.
- Preston (8/5): Good place in Eads - Convenient in a very small town near an important Nat Park site. Very good local restaurant right across driveway. Pretty well used. Very courteous staff.
- Tammy (4/5): I don't recommend it! - Very old building, run down and had a terrible smell, the front desk guy was extremely nice, the bed was very comfortable, but I would not stay again, all of the reviews on their site must be helpful family members because it's a complete lie!
- Verified traveler (6/5): A Decent Place In A Pinch - This hotel is definitely showing its age. The bathroom fixtures were very stained. But the AC worked well. It was very loud, too, but it provided white noise. The beds were firm but clean. Check in was easy and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. We stopped after a long day of travel and this place was halfway home. The price was very fair . The cafe on the other side of the parking lot was very good. We had a great breakfast. Not sure we would stay again but we were glad for a place to rest.
- Efrain (1/5): Bad - Horrible bed bugs had to leave middle night had to go in to wrk 6 am slept nothing had to trow away clothing g due to bed bug
- Thomas (1/5): Bad - I liked the price until I saw the room. I didn't like waking up to bedbugs crawling on me and itching the rest of the day. Nor did I like wanting to take a shower to find only cold water and a tub that doesn't drain.
Floors hadnt been vacummed in weeks and there were lots of tiny bedbugs on the floor which i suspect was due to the 80° room temp. I stayed in Room 208
- marsha (10/5): - addy was awesome checked in @ 2 am they were open for late check in
- marsha (10/5): - budget friendly rooms great weekly rates
- marsha (10/5): - very nice property
- Shane (2/5): Very poor - Staff (guy who checked us in) was really nice. Hotel is in disrepair. only one outlet in the room worked. Tub and sink were stained/deteriorating. Sheets and pillow cases had blood stains on them. Toilet plugged consistently. At least they knew about it and left a plunger in the room.
- greyze (10/5): - the owner is a very nice hard working person, our room was great!
the price was excellent.
I only wish that he improve his sing, so more people can see him from the road,

- marsha (10/5): - Really nice property
- marsha (10/5): - Clean and comfortable rooms
Great prices
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad - About as bad as any motel I've stayed in ever.
- Eric (2/5): nothing more than a rent by the hour room. - I'm not sure where the other reviews have come from but this is nothing more than a rentby the hour room. The bathroom was dirty and the sink faucet was loose enough to come off in my hand. The bedroom looks NOTHING like the pics - dirty and paint chipped, old and trashy. No one in the office but it was full of trash and other items. Key and receipt left on the counter. Any one could have taken the key and entered our room before we arrived. Not sure why this "establishment" is even on Hotels.com. You may want to rethink that!
- Kim (4/5): - It is very old and is just now being fixed up. shower curtain had old scum on it.
- Matt (5/5): Passable -
- John (4/5): - This was overpriced for what it had. Needed new carpet. There were unfinished repairs in bathroom, loose plumbing caps and the like. Also, it had no hair dryer.
- Realredhair (6/5): Pleasant -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Sand Creek Massacre momunment and the Amanche Natl - Great location nearSand Creek Massacre momunment and the Amanche Natl Historic Site.
- Paul (2/5): - Horrific. Terrible smell in room. Ac not on. Mold. Stained tub. 70’s carpet. Did NOT stay. It was gross all the way around. We did not stay and moved on.
Requesting a refund.
- Michelle (7/5): Doesn’t look like much on the outside, but it was a comfortable room at a good price - Comfortable bed No plug available right by the bed
- Larry (8/5): - Easy access. Nice room. Quite.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Right on Us-287 - Great location ,Great staff ,Great price
- Verified traveler (10/5): They Match any price LOL - Manager was great clean room for half prices than hotel next door ,Great for 1 night stay
- Lesley (10/5): - Xxxxx
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Cost A little old and rundown
- Bruce (6/5): - This hotel is quite dated, and needs a lot of maintenance. But the beds were good, the heat worked, and the shower was ok. If it was not very reasonable in price I would have rated it lower.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice clean room for $50 !Hell yes - great staff clean rooms need some updating but new staff is renovating rooms day by day surprised me with cleanliness and budget friendly price
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location - great location right next to restaurant

- Kenneth (2/5): - The motel did not have any hot water when I stayed there I would not recommend the hotel for that reason
- Peter (6/5): - The staff was very pleasant a check in. The room itself is disappointing and definitely NOT renovated.
