- Nathan (10/5): - This was a great hotel. Super comfy bed and bedding, friendly and efficient staff, a lovely lobby and breakfast room. The breakfast itself was adequate (a pancake machine, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fruit, toast, cereal, muffins, juice, coffee, etc.). Our room had the usual mini fridge and microwave, plus a single burner induction hot plate, which was a big surprise. We will 100% stay here again!

- Amanda (8/5): Jacuzzi Suite - The Hotel is located in a beautiful setting near the river. The staff were friendly and you receive a free cookie on arrival. We stayed in the jacuzzi suite. The room is large with an awesome shower and jetted tub. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed though I reccomend you bring your own pillow. I did and had a great sleep. The train does come by but that didn’t bother us. There is a few things that need to be updated in the bathroom. But besides that we had a good stay!

When I mentioned the discrepancy the following morning to the front desk, they had no clue what I was talking about and couldn’t bring up the reservation. Not impressed. Lovely bedding and comfy bed. The town isn’t large but there’s a nice walk along the creek behind the hotel. The Continental breakfast was wonderful… Good variety. Didn’t anticipate the train sounds, mind you (only ran at 11:20, 1:20 and sometime around 7, if I recall…. Not bad), but kind of neat being in the Rockies and hearing that. Will definitely stay again! (The pizza/donair restaurant attached the hotel was economical and delicious! Will go there again too!)

Everything was neat and clean, the beds were fantastic, the airconditioning were super efficient and the addition of the kitchennette was a great bonus. The staff were excellent from check in to the ladies stocking the complimentary breakfast room. Kudos to this little gem of a place...the four of us enjoyed our brief stay amd wished we were there for longer! We would definitely stay here the next time we roll through town!

- Valerie (6/5): - Rooms and property were clean. We called the front desk about the loud noise above us. The Kids in the room above were running and jumping. I asked the lady at the front desk if she could call them and ask them to quiet down so we could sleep. She replied “ they just checked in” I called a half hour after the noise started. I don’t know if she called because the noise continued. Parents please when you’re traveling with children have some consideration for the other guests.

- Marlene (9/5): Kanata Hotel in Blairmore - The hotel was comfortable and convenient after a long journey day. The continental breakfast was more than adequate! The room with a queen bed was small. An extra chair would have been nice.

- Margaret (10/5): - Upon arriving we felt like we were greated by family. Bev is the most welcoming, friendly, and kindest person we have ever had greet us at a hotel. She went above and beyond making sure we had anything we needed, and more. The cookies at check in were a nice touch after a long day of travel. We enjoyed her telling us of the history in the town as well. I don’t think I can say enough to express how great she was. You felt like someone you have known for years even just seconds after meeting her. With everything she has going on in her life, she still treated us so great. If we ever go back, there is nowhere else I would rather stay. I will recommend this place to anyone. The breakfast was absolutely the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. The coffee was really good for hotel coffee. The rooms were very clean, and the rooms are spacious and great. The ac worked great. Lots of sitting room. Over all I give this place a 10. Grocery store in walking distance within 5 mins. A beautiful creek behind the hotel made the walk very pleasant. The only think I would say would be nice is if the pizza place served adult drinks. We wanted to eat there but the people we were with wanted a drink so we ended up at a bar down the road. Food was not great but it was fine.

- glendag2024 (6/5): One night stay in Blairmore - We finished our vacation with a last night stay in Blairmore. We were given a room at the end of the hall beside the stairs. Room had a kitchen in it. It was spacious, clean, and perfect for our needs. Pillows were so uncomfortable. Like sleeping on boards. Couches were also hard to recline on as the arms were super hard. Only one light and nightstand beside the queen sized bed. 3 pillows instead of the standard 4. We had a train pass by the hotel 3 plus times through the night. 5 minutes of loud whistle and heavy rumbling each time. I could hear the air conditioner through the wall of the room beside us. Breakfast the next morning is hot and cold but little protein options and very minimum standard quality. The staff are lovely. Complimentary cookies on entry…no complaints overall..just a heads up for light sleepers and check for softer pillows with the desk. P.s. walking distance to the local grocery store and a nice restaurant on site.
