• Ana Carolina (2/5): Nefasta - Las instalaciones de lo que se suponía que era una suite fueron una gran decepción. El baño era pequeño y parecía diseñado para niños, lo que lo hacía incómodo. Las camas eran tan estrechas que solo podíamos dormir en una posición. En general, sentimos que el dinero que gastamos en esto fue una pérdida. Y en la zona de cocheras no informaron que los árboles despedían una lluvia tremenda, y nos arruinó el vehículo…

Kids digging their fingers into pastries etc understaffed so nobody to oversee the breakfast area. Our shower wasn’t working so we had to move rooms after unpacking.

• Johannes (4/5): zonde we zijn eerder weggegaan dan dat we hadden geboekt. - bedden waren opzich oke leeg zwembad, insecten, vieze matrassen van de bedden bij het zwembad , een zwaar verouderde sauna , bedden in de rustruimte waren kapot. peroneel niet proactief bezig met de gast , moeten overal om smeken , drankje bij het zwembad een welkomstdrankje. gebrek aan algemeen onderhoud , gebrek aan interesse. deze plek heeft frisse energy nodig en een plan . het gebouw en de plek heeft een mega potentie . er lag een dooie vogel tijdens ons verblijf in het trappenhuis en niemand raapt het op . het is jammer maar een slappe slome exploitatie , er moet geinvesteerd worden . sauna of spa is echt slecht aan toe. gr jan 0031641010860
• Nina (10/5): Entspannender Luxusaufenthalt - Sehr schön gelegen, gut erreichbar und doch ruhig zwischen den Weinreben, großer gepflegter Garten mit Pool, Fitnessraum, saubere und große Zimmer, und sehr gutes Restaurant mit vegetarischen Optionen. Auch das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und die Weinverkostung ist auch zu empfehlen!

• Susana (7/5): Nice place, not good value for the money. - Location, the landscape, the views. Nice and friendly staff. I was traveling with my husband, my niece (20) and my nephew (16), so I booked TWO rooms, one with a queen or king bed and the other one with two twins or full beds. The hotel said it could be arranged with no trouble. It was not a nice surprise when we arrived and we were given a double bed room with an adjacent “room” with the twin beds but only one shared bathroom! And more expensive than the two separate rooms I originally booked. We will not stay in Altalaluna again. Also, dining at the restaurant is a little expensive, food was good but not great for the price. Breakfast is very good.

• Carla (10/5): Best hotel in the Cafayate area, strongly recommend it! - This is the best hotel we have been to in Argentina, the place is just wonderful and the employees are very nice! The location is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards, the hotel's architecture is stunning (it looks like a Spanish "masia" or a countryside house in Italy's Tuscany). When we arrived they gave us a room in the first floor and asked for a room in the floor above to have better views, they did all they could to change our room free of charge. They also offered a free wine-tasting, so we had the chance to try all of their wines with some cheese platters (white, red, rose, from the cheaper end to the very expensive end) with a professional sommelier. The hotel offers some activities (we did a horseback-riding excursion). In the evening the garden and the terrace are full of people enjoying some nice wine, the atmosphere is really magical. A lot of people ignore the area of Cafayate (and head to Mendoza instead), that is a big mistake, not only do I think that Cafayate wine is nicer but the area is beautiful. I strongly recommend staying here! Nothing negative about it, the hotel was great!

The manager was rude for every single request that we made, we wanted to use the BBQ grill and it wasn’t available for free, they charge us a lot of money. The location is not that close to cafayate, 25min drive. Wet sauna wasn’t available too.

The lack of english-speakers (I know that is a general problem in Argentina, but we experienced that some people try their best more than other). At the restaurant one understood perfectly what we said but refused to reply in english, created a strange atmosphere. Restaurant in the evening was so-so.

Sehr gutes Essen mit dem Wein aus der eigenen Kellerei Tukma. Cafayate bekannt für die Torrontes Traube die man in Europa nicht oder wenig kennt hat einen feinen Weisswein als Apéro bereit. Nos dieron un upgrade a una habitación muy grande pero poco funcional: las cortinas no cerraban bien, no había closet, tenía una TV muy pequeña para el tamaño habitación y distancia con la cama, etc. Pero un buen desayuno, lindo jardin, y atencion cordial.
