• Kaja (10/5): An unforgettable stay with the perfect mix of comfort, nature, amazing food, and an ideal location — we truly felt at ho - We had an amazing stay here and honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place in Samui. The house is very spacious, with 2 large bedrooms, a big living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. Every room has air conditioning, which made the stay very comfortable. The kitchen had all the small appliances you could possibly need, and there are also 2 bathrooms, which is perfect for families or groups. The location is absolutely beautiful. The house is surrounded by nature, so you feel like you’re staying in the middle of a jungle, while at the same time everything is only 5–10 minutes away. Fisherman’s Village is very close, and overall the location is just perfect. Right next to the house is The Nature Samui, where we went every morning for coffee, and at the end of the street there’s a lovely local lady cooking amazing Thai food — we literally ate there multiple times a day because it was so good. The living room also has a big smart TV, which was great for relaxing in the evenings. I honestly don’t have a single bad thing to say about this accommodation or the location in general. The host was also incredibly kind and helpful, and even helped us rent scooters during our stay. Definitely highly recommended — we would gladly stay here again!

Fishermans village maar dat kost je dan wel ongeveer 7 euro per rit. Als je wel scooter rijdt is de locatie perfect!!

• Kirill (1/5): - If you stain the carpet or sofa, you will be evicted from the villa. I’ll share our negative experience. I do not recommend this hotel. We stayed as a family with 2 children. And apparently families are not welcome here. The house is quite old: • there was a lot of dust when we checked in • rusty pipes in both bathrooms • very low water pressure • one of the shower heaters doesn’t work, water is cold • 2 out of 7 chairs in the house were broken upon arrival • all surfaces are stained — the sofa already had dirt marks when we arrived, stains on chairs and the table • beds are wobbly and clearly quite old • toilet covered in black mold underneath • rusty clothes drying rack that will ruin your clothes if you hang them on it • gas stove covers all cookware in soot, and when you wash it, everything around gets covered in soot • all(!) power outlets are loose, European plugs fall straight out We stayed for more than 2 weeks. When we said we wanted to extend, they confirmed it, but then asked us to move to another house. We had to drag our suitcases. The move itself was rescheduled twice through no fault of ours — first to another day, then to a different time. And during this forced move, the problems began. We were told they no longer wanted us to stay at this hotel and that we had to leave. We were forced to urgently find another place. You’ll love the reasons :) We hadn’t washed the dishes — this has never been an issue at any other hotel on Samui. We were not warned upon check-in that we needed to do this. We hadn’t taken out the trash — apparently this hotel doesn’t do that during cleaning. We left a dirty floor and used towels — are we not allowed to use them?? There were some marks on the sofa on top of the ones already there, but we were told we had stained a sofa that is probably 50 years old. The floor can be cleaned with a regular mop, or dry cleaning can simply be paid for — which we were ready to do and did pay for.
• DIENG (10/5): Un séjour parfait ! - Hôtel incroyable ! Situé en pleine nature, cet hôtel nous a permis de réellement déconnecter. La chambre est spacieuse, propre, le lit est confortable et le personnel d'une grande gentillesse. Mention spéciale pour la boisson de bienvenue dans le restaurant. Nous avons également fait appel à leur partenaire pour la location de scooters ce qui nous a été d'une grande aide car pratique et de confiance. Je recommande vivement et je reviendrai avec plaisir.

• Krishnadath (8/5): - Kamer was perfect,schoon en comfortabel Locatie van het appartement, geen supermarkt in de buurt geen eet tent en je moet heel lang lopen om bij de hoofdstraat te komen voor winkels
• Dell (8/5): Jungle retreat - We stayed in a little villa which was cute but didn't match the photos so wasn't quite what we expected. The location feels remote, surrounded by lovely gardens and the cute restaurant "The Nature" run by the owners. We had an interesting welcome drink and delicious lunch which was excellent value. It was a 20 minute walk to the Haven Elephant Cafe which is so worth a visit, and to Fisherman's Village/Bophut. The night market was chaotic but walking street was super! However the roads are quite busy and unlit so we got a grab back in the dark which was no problem. We also booked onto a boat tour and were picked up from our location. The bathrooms needed a deep clean. Quite a bit of timescale and urine smell in the main bathroom. They are wet rooms which is common in Thailand but small so the toilet gets wet. The air con units were over the beds and very rattly and loud. There's a little kitchen but I wouldn't want to cook in it! Quite a few mosquitos as it's very jungly but the wonderful nature sounds made up for that
• Chris (10/5): Lovely place with really friendly staff - Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for 4 nights. Really comfortable beds and great facilities in the kitchen and living area. Welcome drink on arrival in the garden cafe was a bonus!

It felt quite big and the beds were really comfortable. They also run the nature restaurant which is really pretty, and they offer a delicious free welcome drink on arrival. 🙌

• Jelte (10/5): Uitstekend! - De locatie was uitstekend! Zeer rustig gelegen maar wel dicht bij alles. Fisherman Village is op iets meer dan een kilometer gelegen. De kamer was proper en groot. De badkamer was ook in orde. Leuk terrasje met droogrek buiten. Ook een ijskast op de kamer. De airconditioning was van uitstekende kwaliteit. De eigenaren (een koppel) zijn zeer vriendelijke mensen! Je verblijft in de woning van de mensen zelf maar alle kamers, gelegen op de eerste verdieping, zijn voorzien van een slot en je kan bij binnenkomen direct de trap nemen. Je krijgt echt wel het gevoel van een normaal gastenverblijf maar met vragen moet je dus niet ver gaan. Het koppel baat ook “the nature samui” uit, een 50-tal meter verder gelegen. Hier kan je heerlijk eten in een zeer mooie omgeving. Ik kan het alleen maar aanraden! De foto’s zijn van aan Chaweng Beach (krijg ze niet verwijderd) Niets

• Breanna (10/5): - This was the most lovely place to stay. The host was so wonderful and welcoming. My boyfriend and I just had the best time staying here, the room was lovely, the bed super comfy and the bathroom was super cute. We especially loved the nature surrounding the hotel. It is worth noting that this property is a little further from other areas so renting a scooter is recommended. However, we still had the best time and had no problems getting around. 10/10.

The best stay ever - We had the most amazing stay at Baan Patcharintorn Samui, We have been traveling for a month and this was truly the first place we felt comfortable and at ease, the bed was the most comfortable thing we have ever laid on, the host was the most friendly & accomodating person, the restaurant that is owned by the owner ‘the nature’ had the most delicious food and the most spectacular views. We are so happy we stayed here and couldn’t recommend it more, we can’t wait to come back to stay here next time in Samui.

The vibe is lively and relaxing, with plenty of restaurants around. Shopping can be pricey, but bargaining helps. You can book a GRAB for transport, though drivers may avoid narrow lanes like the one our guesthouse was on. The kitchen is in a separate section. It would be better if the kitchen access was easier or includef in the room.

• Sarah (10/5): Enjoyed my stay - Lodging is away from the busy streets. Room was clean and spacious. I loved the restaurant next door - welcome drink was delicious & you have to try their pad thai. There’s a scooter rental just next door. The scooters are new and in good condition. Something I knew booking this place so it didn’t bother me. You’ll need to walk a distance to get to the main road. It’s much easier with a scooter! But don’t let this deter you from booking this place!
• Sara (10/5): Exceptional - the stay was great! The rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. They provide free coffee, water and powder for the laundry. Very calm environments and good simple restaurants around. Location, if you do not have a scooter or a bicycle, it is quite far from everything. Also, we almost never saw the staff and reception was mostly empty. We luckily got their whatsapp number so it was more easy to communicate.

The place is down a nice quiet road away from all the noise, there are a few nice local restaurants around the property too ! Great stay all round.

• Michael (6/5): I don't regret our stay, but I suspect other guests had a better experience than we did. - Finding the hotel was difficult. After a phone call our host met us at a local petrol station to guide us to the property. We had multiple issues with the facilities. First, the shower head in the toilet had to be replaced (the following day). Then our hot water kettle stopped working. The TV remote also stopped working. The TV uses wireless, and although both 5G and 2.4G wireless bands were available, I believe the TV was connecting via 2.4G which made streaming video over the Internet unreliable. I did not have this problem connecting via 5G using my phone. Lastly, we had issues with parking. The property includes a small restaurant but very little parking. We had to either move our car or ask others to move theirs on several occasions.
• Galen (10/5): Wonderful - I had a wonderful stay in this quiet family home. Koh Samui is a busy island, so it’s a great idea to stay somewhere a bit away from all the action. (You can rent a fancy bike at a good rate from a German man living next door). I was super happy with my choice, which was also surrounded by nature. They have a lovely restaurant called “The Nature”, where they grow a lot of their organic ingredients on-site. I would absolutely stay here again. I can't think of anything I didn't like!
• Nizan (10/5): Huge and comfortable apartment with great staff - We got a huge and very comfortable apartment. The staff was lovely, even when the shower head wasn't working they made sure to bring a technician and replace it. When we needed to order a taxi at 6am, they ordered it for us the day before, and even got up in the morning before their working hours to make sure the taxi had arrived. There were a few ants but we had that in almost every hotel in Thailand.

• Scott (9/5): Beautiful and surrounded by nature. - The property is beautiful and surrounded by nature. The staff is friendly, responsive, and accommodating. I’ve already booked my next stay. This is now my preferred place to stay on Koh Samui. One evening I returned to the hotel at around 8:30 PM to find that the air conditioner wasn’t working. I sent them a message through Booking and they responded within a few minutes, and the owner arrived less than 15 minutes later to resolve the issue. Be aware that the beach and associated shops and restaurants are about 2 km away, so be prepared to either rent a scooter (there’s a scooter rental place next door) or to walk for around 20 minutes.
• Liselotte (10/5): Exceptional - Definitely recommend! The owners are very friendly and helpful people. The room is spacious enough and clean. The bathroom looks really nice and is clean (no bad smells as most other places on Samui do have). The location, if you have a mopped, is really central. We stayed in multiple hotels on Samui including 5 star, but really enjoyed our stay here, as it was half in the jungle so you wake up with lovely jungle sounds. Bed is comfortable. Owners have a restaurant next to the hotel, with a great view and amazing food. Aircondition is above the bed. Nothing major but we prefer it if it doesn't blow right above the bed. No cleaning during the stay (maybe if you ask, but we didn't). Still very nice stay and would definitely go back next time.

• Milan (6/5): Trouble in paradise - Environment, the house was surrounded by jungle, so it was enjoyable to hear wild life just from window. Calming set up of room, nice and clean Downstairs was available food coffee to make for yourself or some snacks. Nearby was restaurant placed right front of small lake full of lotuses what was very nice. Nature everywhere :) Unfortunately, walls of the room were just too thin. Conversations were easily heard from other rooms especially if someone was fighting during night or just opening of sliding doors of bathroom bit more intensively what was waking me up early morning quite often. Everything was quite nice around this suite but this noise experience made it overall not that much comfortable, especially when is expected to have certain level of peaceful feeling at that kind of place.

• Richard (10/5): When in Samui choose Baan Patcharintorn - It was a very nice stayand they have a wonderful guest house in a quiet area with plush beautiful vegetation The guesthouse is quite new and the rooms are large and very nicely decorated and very comfortable and only a 15 minute walk to Fishermans Village Both hosts were very accommodating and helpful in every which way and Ta was quite the cook making breakfast and offering dinner too I highly recommend their guesthouse
