- Jeanne (10/5): Just a great place to stay in Mark. - We’ve been coming here for years and it always is a great experience. Wonderful breakfast each am Nothing
- Pamela (10/5): Gorgeous property near Golden gate - Everything! The location to Golden Gate and the presidio was so close! It’s a beautiful property right off the highway 101 on a beautiful body of water. They offer wine and cheese daily from 5-7pm and warm cookies at 7pm, free breakfast daily. The room was lovely and the hotel was beautiful! Even though it’s literally right on the highway, they’ve managed to soundproof it pretty well.
- Michele (10/5): -
- Marianne (10/5): We spent 4 days and the location allowed us to really explore the Bay Area. - Convenient location, free parking. Room was lovely with nice view and very comfortable bed. Nice amenities. 0.
- Quincy (9/5): Good hotel in Mill Valley - The location was excellent in relation to my business meetings. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast and the wine afternoons were great. There is no gym.

- Nathan (9/5): Overall. I would recommend it! Sunroom on roof is awesome and breakfast was delicious! - Very pretty location with mountain view and water. Beautiful plants and landscape too. Water had bad smell.
- Yan (7/5): I left my child’s jacket there by accident, but the property called and asked me for credit card authorization to mail i - Clean room and it’s well located Overall you could tell the property is old. Parking space and some common area outdoor has odors.

- Mathias (9/5): -
- Marc (8/5): - Complimentary wine. The location was great. The restaurants were within walking distance. More parking
- Güner (8/5): hoşumuza gitti, bir daha kalırım - Güzel kahvaltı Odada kahve makinesi yok, resepsiyona gitmek zorundasınız kahve almak için

- Laura (9/5): Lovely Stay - The room was clean and nicely appointed with a nice view. Loved the nightly wine tasting and warm cookies. It was a great way to meet other guests. The breakfast was very good as well. While the hotel had a lovely view from the room, it was very close to the high way which is convenient but not very aesthetic.
- Gabriela (8/5): - Customer service
- Leslie (10/5): -
- Rachel (9/5): Lovely hotel with lots of added extras - Comfortable rooms. Complimentary bikes. Wine and cheese served from 5-7pm an a lovely breakfast included. Everything was great.

- Adriane (4/5): Good Location for Muir Woods - The breakfast was fine and the staff in the breakfast area was friendly. The location is good for Muir Woods and other locations in the area. The person at the front desk when we checked in was dealing with something and had us and another couple wait off to the side for a good ten minutes; he seemed very scattered and not too friendly. We got to our room and started to settle in and then noticed an ant. Then we noticed a lot more ants on the walls and in the beds. We went downstairs and because it was late we didn't want to go to a different location and we just needed a place to lay our heads, so my husband asked for a different room. We got a different room a floor up and it was bigger and there was no issue with any ants and we were able to sleep comfortably. There was a shift change and my husband dealt with a different individual and he was friendly and very helpful.
- Emier (8/5): - Gustao receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Very nice walking path, pretty scenery. Coffee was very nice. Truly enjoyed staying here. Housekeeping was late afternoon.
There was no hand rinse at the toilet.

- Loren (8/5): Pleasant stay overall. Comfortable beds. - Great location. Loved the Wine & cheese welcome & great breakfast with lots of choices. Bathroom tile needs a good grout cleaning- looks pretty grungy…

- Sandra (10/5): Beautiful overall - Beautiful views, great location. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Comfortable beds.
- Jeanette (8/5): Nice stay outside of the city. - Nice view over the bay. Rooms quite small.
- David (8/5): We enjoyed the amenities at Acqua immensely. - Nice views of a bay and surrounding hills from rooms, lobby, and a glass-enclosed rooftop patio. Convenient location, especially for Muir Woods and SF Bay. Friendly staff. The included breakfast and happy hour are well above the norm. It took a bit of fiddling to sort out the air conditioner/heater.
- Jeff (4/5): - What I didn't like was the booking errors. What I entered into Expedia wasn't what the Hotel showed in their records.
- Joseph (10/5): Wonderful - Loved the extra perks…wine and cheese…warm cookies and an excellent breakfast! The room was great.. bed comfortable and nice pillows Nothing
- maxim (10/5): - convenient location, clean rooms, good breakfast(especially coffee), friendly receptionists. Especially liked wine and cheese in the evening.
- Jerome (10/5): Excellent Choice for a Modern Hotel in Great Local - We had a fabulous trip and stay in Mill Valley, at the Acqua Hotel. Really enjoyed the hotel, from the large and varied breakfast, spacious and comfortable room and great location that was close to everything we wanted to see. A short car ride to SFO Airport for flight.

- Michelle (10/5): -
- Dave (10/5): - Great breakfast! Nothing
- richard (5/5): Clean and safe if not desiring high end. - Very average non de script common areas. Basic rooms.
- Alexander (8/5): - It's a pretty good hotel. The close proximity to the Muir Woods and SF was very convenient for our family trip. However, it felt a bit short of my expectations. There were some minor issues and even with the free breakfast and parking, I didn't find it a good value based on the amount we paid.
- bernest (8/5): - room was clean, area was quiet, area felt safe.
pillows could be upgraded, other then that great stay!
- Emily (10/5): -
- Kathy (10/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): One of my favorite hotels in Marin. - The location, interior and landscaping. Unfortunately some loud children in middle of night.
- Daniela (9/5): -
- Lisa (8/5): - Very good breakfast buffet and really liked the amenities.
Our room was on the ground floor and we could hear people walking in the room above us which was a little annoying.
- Kay (8/5): - The hotel is lovely. I have stayed there many times, always on the second floor. This time my room was on the first floor, and the noise from above and in the hallway outside the room was terrible. I will ask for a second floor room for future stays.
- Ardith (10/5): Very nice hotel, friendly staff & great breakfast - On the water
Near freeway
- Delia (9/5): We enjoyed our stay there, will definitely go back again. - They provided all the necessities such as two bottles of water that can be refilled at the hotel, there is a large hidden trash and recycling bin in the room. Complimentary cheese, fruits and wine at happy hour. Complimentary cookies after 7pm. The complimentary breakfast is very good quality too. The view of Richerson Bay was beautiful, with nice walking trails right in front of the hotel.
- Sam (9/5): Awesome hotel in great location! - Clean and comfortable rooms, breakfast is awesome! Great location and parking. Room design can be improved... lighting is randomly setup ... no bedlight for one side... big bathroom but shower is tiny (hard to shower comfortably
- Jennifer (10/5): - Very clean. Attentive staff. Good breakfast. Nice to have wine and cookies in the evening.
- Amanda (10/5): - Very friendly staff, great wine choices for a complimentary happy hour in the evening, warm cookies when we returned from dinner, convenient 24 hour tea and coffee area, amazing free breakfast with a view…. And on and on. We stayed here and spent our time in Sausalito and then went on to San Francisco- the location of this hotel was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.
- Michelle (10/5): -
- Kathy (10/5): Excellent!!! - We loved the daily breakfast.... delicious! We loved the wine and cheese etc in the afternoon! Homemade cookies! Yum!
Loved the walkway by the lake and the super friendly and helpful staff! Next time we would like to stay on one of the upper levels instead of the first floor.
- Tracy (10/5): - Chose to stay outside of the city this trip, will be back again and again!
- Harold (10/5): - It was a beautiful and unique property. The service was excellent, wine and charcuterie from 5-7 and breakfast in the morning until 10am. The rooms were clean and updated with a water view! The rooftop atrium was superb. Definitely a go to!
- Karen (9/5): Above and Beyond - We loved our stay here. They have thought of everything! Great wine happy hour, breakfast was 5 star, free bikes, helmets and even gave us bottled water for our trip! We would highly recommend!
- Scarlett (10/5): - Lovely hotel with a very spacious room with everything we needed. Great breakfast included too!
Only downside was that the hotel is right next to the highway which can be heard from your room if you a light sleeper.
- Roger (8/5): - Staff and facilities were excellent. Very good breakfast choices but some variation in hot foods offered would be appreciated. Main problem we had was that location of hotel next to highway makes it complicated to drive to and from other locations in Mill Valley.
- Judith (10/5): We love Acqua!! - Friendly staff, good location, quiet
- Meghann (10/5): Nice - Great location to go to Sausalito and Muir Woods. Awesome breakfast and happy hour. Rooms quiet and clean.
- Michael (6/5): - The reception staff was too busy working on paperwork with another person to check us in. I almost never complain about my hotel stays, but we had high expectations for our stay based on site pictures and reviews.. (and the price point) This is an old hotel that is pretty clean, but not a place that I would stay again.
- Gabriel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Allison (8/5): - Staff was amazing, rooms were clean/nice and loved the little balconies. The view/sitting area out the back was nice as well. No restaurant or bar on property made it hard and the area wasnt one we wanted to go venture out.
- Rudolf (7/5): Close to SF - Shower. Smelly bay area, we had a room on the ground floor and the sun didn't shine there all day.
There were no vegetables on breakfast.
- Thao (8/5): Fast check-in/out, good location - Great location , nice views
- Evan (10/5): - Na
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Beautful decor.
- Nicolle (9/5): Superb - Helpful front desk staff, big suite
- Wayne (10/5): - Location to GGB, Breakfast Buffet and wine and cheese etc.
Very Clean room
- Tara (6/5): - The location is nice! The lobby is nice. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic- the room was basic- dog friendly room with patio, hard to sit out there the furniture didn’t have any cushions. The biggest negative is how loud it is! Do not stay if your looking for a quiet retreat- ground level rooms you hear everything and every person. The staff is very friendly and personable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Experience - Great location - Convenient and scenic. Service was one of the best we have received. Enjoyed our stay with the family very much.
- Ed (10/5): - Amazing everytime!!!
- Betty (10/5): Would stay again. Nice choice when visiting San Francisco are. Husband loved ability to fish daily right outside of ro - Amenities, location, staff, breakfast Parking limited
- John (9/5): Very nice hotel in great location with lots of extras. Our room was very small. - Great location and lots of free extras: Bikes, late afternoon wine and cheese, excellent buffet breakfast, late PM cookies. Lots of excellent bike paths nearby. Our room, 117, had a nice view, but was extremely small. Most, I think were larger.
- Loren (10/5): Bed and Breakfast vibes - Feels like a bed and breakfast, great access to the whole area
- Ari (10/5): - Great rooms, great views, great staff, great perks, marred slightly by the location right next to the 101 freeway and in an office park. Lots of noise when sitting outside, ok in rooms, and nowhere to walk to. But, if you can get past that, which is significant, you get modern rooms, all with a view of the bay, free breakfast (which is seriously good), free bike rentals, free wine and cheese in the evening, free cookies at night, friendly service, and the Bay. No view of SF, but nice mountain view. Will be boggy depending on tide, but waterfowl didn't care. Nice bike/walking path around, just nowhere you can actually walk to under a few miles, i.e., no restaurants, bars, etc. But again, other than that and the freeway noise, this place is top notch.
- Dan (6/5): - Good
- Andy (10/5): - I would definitely go back again to enjoy the quiet balcony overlooking the bay. Definitely loving the complementary wine, cheese and cookies 😋, yummy!
- Debra (9/5): Great amenities, staff and location - Great location ( 15 minutes from Muir Woods). Lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Amazing breakfast included. Wine/cheese/fruit from 5-7 pm. Right on the water. Relaxing, elegant hotel.
- Karen (10/5): - The hotel is in a great location on the water, clean, bright and spacious rooms. The views are stunning. The breakfast is excellent offering hot & cold options with a coffee bar for lattes, etc. They offer free wine & cheese and cookies everyday. The front desk staff were so very nice too. The one downside was not having a safe in the room especially when you’re on the frat floor with sliding glass doors. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
- David (10/5): - Everything about Acqua was superb. A great breakfast (included), Happy Hour, cookies at night, staff, the property itself. We would happily return if we visit again in the future. Noteworthy were staff members, Genevieve, Phron, and Randy. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
- Kay (8/5): - Great location!
