• Bonnie (7/5): Great location for a short stay near Calaveras County recreation and events. Easy to find. - Location was just what we needed, within walking distance of the town and restaurants.. Facilities were clean and felt safe. We got our room through Booking.com, so the price was very reasonable. Walls and ceilings were bare bones. From our bottom floor room, we could hear loud footsteps, and noise from the parking lot just outside our window. This was the room we were given by the one person on staff, who just handed us a key without any infomation, including any wifi info, which I don't know if it was available. If you get a room here and can walk up a short, easy flight of stairs, get a room on the 2nd (top) level.
• Who (8/5): - Nice and clean. I like how they have extra towels so I did not have to bother them. I take multiple showers and they provide plenty of soap shampoo body wash and even toothbrushes. My confirmation said 1130 check out yet their check out was actually earlier.... not a big deal.

• Richard (6/5): If I had to I would stay again. - It was easy to find. The staff was nice. The bathtub wasn't usable as a tub. It was stained a little. There was no closet. It wasn't the best. But it wasn't expensive.

• Mariah (1/5): No refund - Online booking . I didnt like that I booked late at night after leaving a friend's house a town over to avoid a long drive home. When I arrived at the facility the open sign was on but there was no one in the office to handle my check in.So I did not get to stay and had to drive home. I also don't like tha there was a no refund policy, even though I canceled the reservation within less than an hour. And no one from the facility has tried to reach out to me to correct the issue.
• Kathryn (6/5): Needs to make sure all the rooms have everything working but it is comfortable and looks nice. - Thw room looked nice and updated. NO HEAT or air!!! The unit itself was destroyed - once you open the cover it was destroyed. and no TP holder at all ... missing. Those aren't expensive. This was disappointing and made the place seem like it was not for guests but some kind of low rent lodging for ???

• Heather (7/5): Nice hotel - but very thin walls - Room was spacious, nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable. Service was nice. The walls were SUPER thin. It literally felt like the guy next door was in my room. Connecting door had a large gap at the bottom that let sound through. Lock on it was dubious. Ironing board was propped up against it.

• Suzanne (7/5): It was really good 👍 a little noises upstairs we had a nice time and slept well each night so you I - I wish they would have a little breakfast there and I'm glad they have coffee pots in the room now but I wish the coffee was a little stronger I wish we could of had wash cloths and a couple of hand towels we only had 2 big towels each and we need any one to ask and we didn't see anyone when we checked out to give the key cards to so we stuck them through the window and I wanted a receipt

• Katherine (9/5): Spacious,clean room with frig, coffee maker and mucrowave. - Spacious comfortable room I was on the main floor and upstairs neighbor was noisy until 11. Moving furniture Not hotel's fault. Room with frig, coffee maker, and microwave. But no cups or glasses of any kind. No sugar or tea. I brought my own tea and breakfast, but without cups, I could not drink.
• Ciara (10/5): - Good location if you want to see Yosemite or Lake Tahoe. Nice rooms, parking available. Lovely village, close by there’s a spot called gooneys that does great food.
• Jose (8/5): Conveniente place - The employees are very nice and helpful, location very convenient for the reason we visited the place, 3 min distance from the place we needed to be. Quiet place and comfortable The coffee maker had 3 bags of used coffee from whoever was there before us, the cleanliness of the toilet are not up to standard, please do a walk thru whoever cleaned is not doing a good job you can clearly see “Pipi” stain in the back, no body wash in the container at the shower, floors didn’t look very clean, the door between the two rooms is missing the knob, and one of the rooms the handle is sticking out the screws. Owner is in your best interest to have someone verify at least once a week all the rooms are up to standard and customers will come and go happy. Thank you for the service. Happy new year. We are not complaining just giving constructive feedback for your business.

• Heather (4/5): Don’t stay here dive - The motel was dirty, smelled and it took the staff a very long time to come and register. Then there was no shower curtain and the room smelled funky! The sheets were dingy and mine had spots on it! Mostly everything Drive the extra 30 minutes and stay in Jackson or Angels Camp!

• Heide (9/5): Good buy need to double check stuffs. - Clean and awesome Just make sure room have a complete bath wash cloths, I didn’t have any when I realized it’s too late for me to ask. I only have 2 big towels, and 1 hand towel but no wash cloths also all shower stuffs like shampoo, conditioner and body wash was not pumping right hard to pump and good thing that I always carry my own stuffs.

• Richard (8/5): - The front desk gentleman was fantastic. Got a room on the 2nd floor which is on the south side of the property and is level with the parking lot. We are on a 2 week camping trip and it was great to be able to park near the room. However the hotel is right on the highway and gets pretty noisy. Also there are a lot of people outside all hours of the night. Now we didnt have any issues but from a safety standpoint it concerned us. All told i believe the ownership is trying to make this a nice place to stay. The room was nice, the shower even better.
• Brendan (7/5): Good motel at a good price - Clean and convenient, exactly what you would expect from a small town motel. Comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower! Simple and straight forward. why does booking.com have a minimum number of characters. Nothing really.

• Elizabeth (3/5): Just....stay somewhere else. - Located on the main strip, close to the high school and some of the businesses in town. Rate was high, paid over $300 for a 2 night stay. Thought it was weird when they didn't check my ID or take a credit card for my stay. There might have been cockroaches in the room when we checked in, there were definitely flies in the room upon check in. Room was barely cleaned when we checked in and people were suspiciously parked all around the hotel parking area and going in and out of random rooms throughout our stay. We asked for extra towels and toilet paper twice before getting some, and the 2nd time we asked my husband had to tell the staff that we were literally waiting to get TP to use the restroom. After the 1st night, I wanted to check out early.

The TV remote wasn't working and would not connect to the cable network. There was no phone for wake up. call. No ice machines or vending machines.

• WENDY (6/5): - Check-in was easy. The room, however, was upsetting but considering the low price and our last minute travel plans, we dealt with it. They did allow for my service dogs to stay so that's a plus. The room was full of flies, the bathroom ceiling had mold and a gaping hole, there was toilet paper all over the bathroom floor, the room smelled of cigarette (we asked for non-smoking), the smoke alarm was ripped out, there was dirty clothing and trash in the drawers, and the bed sheets had trash on them. We aren't big on complaining and had limited options so we stayed. I wouldn't suggest having kids stay here. It is next to a cute historic street for San Andreas and also some food options. Convenience stores nearby as well.

Very seedy people coming and going from hotel. Hotel had many broken items inside. Most lights didn’t work, no soap in shower. Floor was dirty and previous tenant hair everywhere.

• Charles (6/5): we attended a concert in Murphy's and this was the cheapest motel in Calaveras county. - The location was nice. It was right off a highway, but it's a small town and it was quiet. There was no hot water in our facility. The sink was turned off.

There was no phone in the room so tried calling for the front desk from my cellphone but no one answered the call. I was on limited time so just used the hand towel to get ready. Fortunately my guest didn't come so this was enough and I only stayed 1 night.
• Dylan (1/5): I could not check in. No one was in the office. I had to stay elsewhere. I want a refund. - I was not able to check in. I arrived at 3pm on check in day. No one was in the office. It was locked up and had a sign saying they weren't there. I stayed around for a 1/2 hour and gave up.

From the moment I checked in until the second night, the room had at least 5 flies. I asked the room attendant for those sticky strips or some spray. No one attended to my request until my last night. This was a very unsanitary and annoying experience.

Needed to do some work and the internet was so bad i could rarely get anything done. Find another place to stay if in the area.

• Dedrea (10/5): - The room was suprisedly nice, pretty spacious and updated. My only complaint was that there was hair on the bathroom floor. There also wasn't anyone at the front desk. We had to call for the key. Otherwise a good experience. I would stay there again.

Had refrigerator and microwave. Coffee was good. Did not have a place to hang clothes. No trash can or hand towels. Blackout shade would also help as outside lights brighten up the room at night.
