Potěšila i hernička pro dítě a využili jsme i venkovní bazén,výřivku a saunu a vše bylo moc příjemné. Lokalita sice není v centru města, ale stejně jsme měli auto a všude jezdili autem.
• Linda (8/5): Wonder place - We liked everything about this hotel. Essentially located so very convenient to go to all the hiking spots we wish to see and all the major areas on the island. Parking was great and easy and we loved the spacious quarters. There is a great coastal walk just a short distance from the hotel that gave us great exercise and stunning views. Unfortunately a group of men were staying there and decided to start partying every night at about 10:00 or 11:00 p.m. We tend to go to bed early and get up early to go hiking so we talked to the front desk and the last night the problem seemed to be alleviated. There aren't a lot of restaurants or supermarkets nearby but we were always out and about so we just grab something as we were traveling. The kitchen is well stocked so it's easy to stop at a grocery and get what we needed.

• Marta (8/5): Ótima estadia! - Como alguém que vê os comentários para avaliar se uma possível estadia é possível, posso dizer que o alojamento é sossegado, amplo e limpo. Os quartos têm boas áreas, as camas são muito boas e a cozinha está muito bem equipada. A acrescentar, tem uma piscina com água quentinha, da qual usufruimos todos os dias. O staff atencioso e disponível a ajudar. O alojamento não tem a localização mais central mas, de carro rapidamente estamos em qualquer lugar. Recomendo vivamente!!
• Mark (10/5): - The Whales Bay hotel is highly recommended. The place was very nice and clean. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and even got into the jacuzzi for a few minutes. The location is nice also as it is out in a quieter area but still only about 25 minutes t Ponta Delgada. The only thing missing was a nice breakfast.

It's a pity that there is no breakfast and no cafes or shops within walking distance. Although by car everything is nearby and in the lobby they sell necessary things at reasonable prices.

• Alireza (10/5): - We chose this hotel/apartment because it has a fully stocked kitchen, beautiful location near the ocean, free parking, pleasant, and courteous staff and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and only 10–15 minutes car ride away. there is a supermarket about five minutes drive and a few bars and restaurants around. and on top of it, the daily price is reasonable.

Das Appartment hat leider null Charme, ist etwas heruntergekommen (abgenutzte Stühle, wo sich die Beschichtung löst, Kalk und Schimmel in der Dusche, kaputter Balkontisch). Das Schlafzimmer hat den Reiz einer Jugendherberge mit zwei getrennten Betten und ebenfalls abgeschrupptem Kopfteil hinter den Betten. Zudem liegt das SZ zum offenen Flur, mab schläft quasi neben dem Aufzug und hört jeden Gast, der sich in der Etage bewegt.

Lots of space, super clean and anything you could need was in the apartment. You need a rental car for this area but it was so peaceful and scenic. All the staff were super friendly and communication was always quick and easy with them, before and during the stay. We had casually mentioned to one of them that we were on anniversary, and our last day they sent a gift basket for us as a surprise! Would definitely stay here again.
• אריה (10/5): Really great apartments hote - It is an apartments hotel. We are a couple, and had a T1 apt, which is the smallest. It is quite large. It has a spacious leaving room with fully equipped kitchenet. The bathroom facilities were brand new and functioned well. The bed room is also very spacious and cosy. The bed very comfortable. There is a good a A/C. The WIFI is super strong and stable. The stuff, either in the reception or cleaning are very polite and helpful. The WIFI super strong and stable. They have also a wet room (sauna, steam room and jacuzzi) which is a nice place to relax at the end of the day, and is opened until 10:30 pm. The hotel is from one hand 20 minutes drive from ponta delgada, and from the other hand 30 minutes drive from sete cidades and the lakes

When arrived at 3pm, the lady at reception said that the check in was from 4pm only. So we didn’t feel very welcome and it took ages to check us in as the lady wasn’t sure if our room was ready or not.

• Emanuel (4/5): Great Grounds/Poor customer support - Though the hotel grounds and apartments were lovely and clean, we didn't feel comfortable or welcomed. At one point were accussed of sharing the hotel pool/hot tub with outside guests and it was not the case at all. Instead of being asked first if it was the ase, it was just assumed without looking at cameras or seeing it for themselves. For that reason we definitely won't use this hotel again. It left a bad taste for us.

Celui-ci au point de vue rapport qualité prix il y a tout sur place avec la piscine et ça vaut la peine. C’est un hôtel qui est central et nous pouvons en 40 minutes ,plus ou moins ,faire toutes les visites qu’il y a d’un côté ou de l’autre. Si je devais retourner Sao Miguel c’est là que je séjournerai

• Melissa (8/5): - Nice hotel with a beautiful backdrop in a quiet local neighborhood. The hotel is gated, so it feels safe, and there is plenty of parking. The staff was wonferful - always willing to help any way they could, however the desk is not staffed 24/7, so getting a hold of someone wasnt always possible. The room was spacious and well stocked, however not the most updated/new (coffee maker leaked water, microwave door stuck, ice cune tray was broken, sliding glass door to patio was very hard to open). The property had a lovely view and a nice infinity-style pool, however the other "amenities" were minimal. The gym was very small and some of the machines did not work, there was not an on-site spa as mentioned, and the hot tub and sauna were not working at the time. The only "extra" that was really available was the steam room type area. Overall, the location, view, and staff were lovely (very quiet area without much around - but there is a mercado, gas station, and a couple small local restaurants; not walkable. Ocean views walkable from hotel). The room was certainly sufficient but could use a few upgrades and the amenities were definately lacking compared to what was advertised. All that being said, our experience at Whale's Bay was good and we would stay there again - decent value for the money.

Nice area to walk along shore, a small ocean bay with a swimming within a 10 minute walk. Stayed on the second floor, they advertise you dont have a ocean view, but ocean was viewable as well a shore line to the west. Very clean, modern and quiet.

We never heard any of the other guests when we were in our apartment. -Ample parking on premises. -Central location on the island meant it was not such a long drive to reach any of the main attractions on the island. -Biggest downside was that the location was in a rather non-touristy area, and there were very few options for eating at restaurants. Within walking distance, there was just a take-away pizza place. You had to drive to reach anything else (~15-20 minutes). -Pool was rather cold for my liking, but some people were fine swimming in it.

• Cassandra (10/5): Lovely honeymoon stay - We spent part of our honeymoon trip at the Whales Bay apartment hotel and loved every moment! They even greeted us with special honeymoon decorations in our apartment. This is a lovely location to stay at if you’re looking for apartment style accommodations to be able to do your own cooking while enjoying hotel amenities. We will be back!
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Great location nearby the ocean and great natural pool. Excellent Swimming pool in the hotel. Very clean and well equiped appartment. Nice shower. Nice staff. Probably a wonderful place for family with kids but not suited for friends or couple with no kids since walls are paper-thin and bedrooms are on the corridor, stairs and elevator side… 20 meters from the ocean but only a few appartments have an ocean view.

• Vanessa (10/5): amazing place! stay here if you can! - This was an amazing place and I'm so sad we didn't stay longer. The room was amazing and large. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. The pool looked amazing but we didn't get to go inside. Great wifi (even took video calls) great air conditioning, and lots of parking. We were close to the town and beach. Staff was very nice! nothing :)
• Antonio (9/5): An amazing place in the amazing Azores - Very nice residence with few apartments, a beautiful garden with pool and the sound of the powerful ocean in the background. The staff has been more than amazing, always available for any need. Let me thank especially Suzanna and Hugo for making hour holiday time special. We will be back again for sure! Very few little details like having a shared washing machine and a little better sofa bed.
