The room was cosy and well presented with a comfortable bed, air conditioning and a great, clean hot shower. Jude and Brian had some excellent local recommendations and were great hosts. Highly recommend.

- Rudi and Kay (10/5): Perfect stay for our adventure throughout Price Albert and surroundings - The friendly and efficient attitude of HEY and JUDE The bedside lights were a bit too low power for us oldies to read in bed
- Clifford (8/5): -
- Debbie (10/5): Wonderful stay !! We will definitely be back - Lovely location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hosts were wonderful, Jude helped us with dinner bookings and settling in. My son got ill on the way and she helped us with medication and to find a doctor who could assist him. Lovely rooftop decks to view the Prince Albert area. Nothing

- Frank (8/5): Abseits vom Schuss.
- Stefan (9/5): - Jude and Bryan are such lovely Hosts
We were on a motorcyle Trip and were headen to the swartberg pass. We had a stopover in Prince Albert and loved that cozy Little Town in the middle of nowhere.
Nice Restaurants- we ate at ‚Rude Chef‘ which is another recommendation for good Food !

- Warren (10/5): A perfect stay with a wonderfully friendly and helpful couple. - I really enjoyed staying at Travellers Rest in Prince Albert. The accommodation was perfect and so clean! It’s just a short and easy walk to the town (village) centre which is rather lovely.
But what really liked more than anything was the way I was received by the hosts, Jude and Bryan. You would think that I was a family member. They made the stay most memorable. I’m glad I chose to stay at Travellers Rest. Nothing to dislike.
- Ilse (9/5): -
- Lizet (9/5): Great stay in a great town! - Great hosts; very clean and neat. Central location. None
- Mark (10/5): Would recommend to anyone - Easy access and owners very friendly and helpful Excellent value for money when comparing

- Sascha (10/5): Lovely Place - Great hosts who are not only interested in that you have a great experience at their B&B, but overall in South Africa. We would have loved to stay longer. So if you plan to stay only 1 night, plan 2 instead. They have comfy beds, large showers and a viewing deck from where you can do great stargazing. Or you can enjoy a glass of wine on the veranda.
The B&B itself is well located within Prince Albert and within walking distance to what must be one of the best restaurants in the country (Karoo Charcoal). The host booked a table for us and it was incredible. Also the other hints along our travel route have been very good.
I very much recommend this accomodation! All good.
- Carina (10/5): Wonderful, relaxing stay - Great location and a super friendly host. We'll be back. There was nothing not to like.
- Derek (9/5): - Great place to stay. The host Jude was very helpful with everything, good advice on local places to eat. We were on a cycling trip and changed our route after she made some suggestions. Will stay again when in Prince Albert.
- Anabel (9/5): - Nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die uns sehr gut weitergeholfen haben.
- David (10/5): - Beautiful garden and our hosts were very welcoming and friendly
- Robert (7/5): - It was clean, tidy and quiet. I prefer thicker pillows, and i think a TV would be a nice addition in this price range (even though the host's husband told me that I don't come to Prince Albert to watch TV when I enquired)
- Jean (10/5): -
- John (10/5): Lovely place to stay at a good price - The room was very comfortable, with electic blankets and aircon or heating. Jude was very accommodating, even arranging a booking for us at the Rude Chef restaurant and getting up early to let us out in the morning. Nothing I did not like. Just some advice to Jude to put the light switch for the bedside lights on the side closest to the bed
- Ferdie Ungerer (10/5): -
- Hillmann (10/5): It was so lovely to stay, the only bad thing that we only booked one day! - It was so lovely to stay, the only bad thing that we only booked one day!
- Andy. (10/5): Fantastic 1 night stopover. - Firstly the most helpful and hospitable staff plus the well appointed accommodation. The location for being walkable to a nice museum and the local Spar to top up on supplies. Nothing to report apart from not being able to book for longer.
- Yanis (9/5): Superb - Great Value for Money, clean and tidy rooms and lovely owners who will welcome you.
- Dani (10/5): Jude is a wonderful hostess and was incredibly kind, generous, and helpful, providing a truly restful gem in a beautiful -

- Jean (10/5): Even though it was in town, it was peaceful and quiet. - Absolutely everything was just perfect.
- Neil (10/5): Excellent - N/A N/A
- Stuart (6/5): Everything was pleasant enough but not special. It would’ve been nice to have a plunger and proper coffee in the room. A - It was quiet and quite ordinary but clean and the hosts were pleasant. Good shower and a good bed. And the Aircon was an absolute boon with temperatures in the low 40s. The cars had to be parked in the blazing hot sun And it was a steep driveway off the road
- Tjaart (10/5): Great! - Private and quiet
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Sheilagh (9/5): Superb -
- Eve (9/5): Highly recommended! Comfortable garden room. Great hosts - Perfectly comfortable, simple garden cottage and patio. Yes, coffee and rusks. Great shower. Jude and Bryan, so friendly, hospitable and helpful. Jude also helped book us into a local restaurant for supper. Great location in Prince Albert. Highly recommended. Nothing to say, all was good!
- Kenneth (7/5): It was comfortable. -
- Peter (7/5): Pleasant stay in a lovely village - Very good value for the price. Clean and pleasant. Jules kindly booked dinner for us and made sure we had everything we needed. Lots of hot water and a big shower. Parking off street was very good. Very peaceful. No TV in the bedroom which didn't matter to us.
- Arthur (10/5): Exceptional -
- Koos (8/5): nice - n/a Parking
- Els (10/5): Exceptional - We came to stay in this beautiful quaint town as we took part in the Meiringspoort half marathon. The owners of travellers rest were extremely accommodating and helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth race happening the following day, from taking the liberty of booking us in at a restaurant (because the town was full and so were all the places to eat) to providing Rehidrate to one of us who overdid it on the run. Every little thing was thought of and we were made to feel right at home. Definitely looking forward to staying there again, but this time for a little longer to explore the beauty of this town. Nothing negative to say about the guest house, but just as preventative, the air is very dry so remember to pack cream and lip balm... however if I had asked Jude for some, I know she would have provided.
- Els (10/5): We had a lovely stay - The garden, the quiet and tranquility, the people.
It was lovely. Nothing to not like.
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional - The property was very well situated in Pince Albert and we could do everything walking. The room was comfortable and very clean and everything on the facility was built with love. The best part of our stay was Jude, she was so loving and helpful (she gave us plenty of recommendation). We are very grateful to her and super recommend her place. Nothing
- Anton (10/5): Nice breakaway with friend over a weekend - Location is a little bit out from the center of the town, but still in walking distance Nothing
- Peter (9/5): Heart value for money - The breakfasts delicious, on time with friendly hosts.
The garden was clean, pretty, quiet and made one feel at home
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isabel (9/5): Perfect overnight stop! - Perfect overnight stay for one night. Very clean and comfortable facility with basic needs covered! Complimentary bottled water was a nice touch in addition to coffee and rusks! Jude is a lovely host and offered to book dinner on our behalf and made great suggestions on what's happening in Prins Albert. If you stay more than one night more self catering facilities would be needed - like a fridge and microwave maybe.
- Pieter (9/5): Everything I needed for a calm and casual weekend away!! - Jude is an extremely friendly individual who made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. She had great recommendations for places to eat and also told me to be careful at night as I had to drive a dirt road for about 50km. She is just such a delight and so friendly!
- George (9/5): Superb -
- Riaan (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable and close to all amenities. None
- Gustaf (10/5): Exceptional -
- Koekemoer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siobhan (10/5): Comfy, cozy, place to unwind and enjoy good company - The room and bathroom are spacious and clean with lovely little touches and amenities, aircon/heating, and a little porch with Adirondack chairs and a small table. The garden area is lovely, as is the observation deck, so whether you want to chill on your own or be sociable with others, the setting is just delightful. Jude and Bryan are two of the kindest most helpful hosts I’ve encountered in my travels. I’d had a rough go with travel plans prior to my arrival and, before even showing me to my room, Jude was instantly that friend that says “I got you” and provided lots of guidance on alternative plans and helped me get things sorted out. Both Jude and Bryan are a fountain of information on things to do in the area surrounding Prince Albert and how to successfully navigate the area as a tourist. Nothing! I loved it all.
- Ackermann (9/5): Great place! - Had a lovely stay! Neat, well equipped and great location. Will visit again!

- Margot (10/5): Exceptional - I had a great time! The hosts are lovely people, super friendly and helpful! They had lots of tips on what to do and see around Prince Albert and helped me further plan my journey. I absolutely recommend staying with them!
- 13 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jan (8/5): Will definitely recommend staying at Travelers Rest - Ryan & Jude are absolutely amazing people - friendly, helpful and much more. Cleanliness of room/bathroom deserves a 10! Aircon was a life saver. Everything was perfect.
- Ronel (9/5): Superb - Very good service. Although there were a power outage Jude and her husband did their best to accommodate us.
- Martina (10/5): Tranquil retreat - Travelers Rest in Prince Albert exceeded our expectations. The room provided all the essentials, including a kettle and a private bathroom, and was impeccably clean. Despite a temporary power outage due to a storm, the owners ensured our comfort throughout our stay, which we thoroughly enjoyed. They were exceptionally helpful and kind, offering valuable tips to explore the area. The town exuded positivity, and the room's booklet listed numerous activities to enjoy locally and in the surrounding area. Following their suggestion, we savored the stars from the shared deck atop the accommodation, surrounded by stunning natural beauty.
