• O2tokyo (8/5): 大正ロマン風のインテリアが素敵なお宿 - 門から玄関までのアプローチが緑に囲まれてとてもいい雰囲気。 おそらく元々は民家であろう建物を民宿ぽく改装したのだと思われますが、和洋折衷のインテリアが大正ロマン風で趣があります。 ３部屋のみのこじんまりとしたお宿なので、とても静かで過ごしやすかったです。 お風呂・トイレ・洗面所は共同ですが、3部屋に対してトイレが２つあるので何も不便は感じませんでした。 近くにコンビニ、ドラスト、スーパーがあって、大変便利です。 湯布院はお手頃な価格のお宿がほとんどなく、特に一人旅となるとかなり割高感がありますが、そんな中にあってこちらのお宿は比較的利用しやすい価格帯で、コスパが良かったと思います。 また湯布院に行く機会があればリピしたいです。 由布院駅からは充分に徒歩圏内ですが、賑わいのある通りを抜けてさらに行くので、ちょっと遠く感じる方もいらっしゃるかも。（私は歩くのが好きなので、むしろちょうどいいくらいでしたが。）

• Hana (9/5): Beautiful Ryokan - I always prefer staying at small, family-run guesthouses to avoid the noise of large tour groups, and this Ryokan was the perfect choice. Located just a short walk from the main street of Yufuin, the location is incredibly convenient. I stayed for two nights and was able to explore the whole area on foot after parking my car. The house has a charming Japanese-European aesthetic, and my "Washitsu-Yo" room was surprisingly spacious. With only three guest rooms in total, the atmosphere was exceptionally quiet and private. During my stay, I only encountered other female guests, which gave it a safe, "dorm-like" feeling in the best way possible. Although the toilets are located outside the rooms, there are two of them for only three rooms, so it felt almost like having a private bathroom. The onsen follows the same principle—you simply lock the door for a completely private soak. The Japanese breakfast provided was delicious and hearty, with a different menu each morning. The owner is a lovely Japanese lady who lives on-site but gives guests plenty of space. It felt like a "home away from home." If you value peace, privacy, and a personal touch, I highly recommend this place. The only minor area for improvement would be the cleanliness of the in-room refrigerator. I noticed some dust on top and a stray hair inside, suggesting it might have been overlooked for a while. While this didn't spoil my overall wonderful stay, I thought it would be helpful to let the host know so it can be addressed for future guests.

• 書綺 (9/5): - 到由布院獨旅，入住這間另外意外又驚喜的旅館。房間由榻榻米鋪整，空間相當寬敞，房間內外的擺設都非常講究，看得出來經營這間旅館的奶奶非常仔細打理與挑選。 房間數不多，應只有三間，當天晚上即便住滿也不過才四個人，入住的旅客都非常有默契地到了夜晚會放低音量，因此緊鄰著彼此但也聽不到吵雜的聲響，睡得非常安穩。 共用廁所與湯池，因為旅館奶奶的費心整理，空間明亮整潔，絲毫看不出一絲灰塵或髒污之處。入住的人少，也沒有發生搶廁所或等候洗澡的事情。湯池的空間很大，一個人或是一房的人要共同使用都完全沒有問題，使用起來非常舒適。 旅館的奶奶會幫忙備妥早點，只能說菜色真的是太棒了，飯、湯品到每一道小菜，以及隨餐供應的花茶，都可以感覺到料理的人的用心。 住宿體驗是距離入住已經隔了一個月之久，回想起來仍然覺得相當美好，推薦給大家。 沒有。

• Naoko (7/5): ゆっくりと快適に過ごせました。 - 朝食は、美味しく頂きました。特に白和が好きでした。 この日は平日で、私一人が宿泊だったようで、広いお部屋に一泊させてもらいました。掃除も行き届いて快適に過ごせました。またチェックアウトの時も、快く車を駐車させて頂き、湯布院を散策するこてができ、感謝してます。 お風呂も清潔で気分良く入れましたが、私はもう少し熱めでもいいかと思いました。

• Fangqi (7/5): Spacious, traditional stay - Ryokan experience, spacious room, private onsen that can be used anytime it is not occupied. Breakfast was nice. About 5 min walk to yunotsubo street. There should be a rule that guests book the onsen in advance and/or have a time limit. We couldn’t use the onsen until 10pm although there were only two other rooms, because other guests were hogging, using it more than once in the same evening and for extended periods (1 hour). We were super annoyed by this. This might also be a problem unique to overthinkers, but there was a “hidden” door behind the fridge that was slightly ajar. I wish the owner showed us what was behind the door because i kept imagining someone was lurking behind it and couldn’t sleep well lol.

Lo yukata fornito era corredato da un caldo Haori di lana, veramente confortevole. La proprietaria prepara la colazione personalmente la mattina. Posizione tranquilla fuori dalla „disneyland“ della strada commerciale, ma comunque vicina a tutto. Onsen senza fronzoli, ma metterei un po’ più di cura nell‘ illuminazione perché il faro con luce fredda puntato verso la vasca non mi permetteva di rilassare gli occhi. Ad esempio basterebbe sostituire la lampada centrale con due faretti laterali puntati sulla zona lavaggio e non sulla vasca.

• Chloe (10/5): Best place I have been in Japan ( 6 weeks travel ) - Just stunning ! I have been welcomed by a very kind woman in her traditional Ryokan. This property was just amazing, feeling like home with great facilities. The seat and bed are very confortable and waking up with a view on the garden is just a real pleasure. You will have time to enjoy the private onsen, which I appreciated as well a lot. The localization is perfect, 5 min walking from the main touristic street, but still in a place of calm. Last but not least, fabulous homemade breakfast. How could we start the day in a better way ? Don’t stay one night only or you might regret it !

Owner is a little bit occupied as she runs the Ryokan by herself but thats not a big deal for me. Breakfast was really great for me and it's a total value matched stay for me.

• Tenzin (9/5): Comfy house - Very spacious and beautiful room. Breakfast was very elaborate. Onsen is shared with other occupants by taking turns to use it. A little far from the station but I guess that makes it a bit more quiet. Also arrived in Yufuin on a Wednesday, and most shops aren't opened on Tuesdays and Wednesdays due to low tourist traffic on those days.
