Coffee machine in the room was broken. I discovered that unfortunate fact at 4:00 am. The cleaning staff did not change out the coffee items (creamer/sugar/napkin/utensils) from the precious people or replenish the coffee.
- dayrel2019 (10/5): Thumbs up from the USAF Pilot Training classs of 71-03 (1969-70) - We held our 56-year USAF Pilot Training reunion and used the Holiday Inn Express as our "Base of Operation". A very convenient location with several restaurants, pubs, shopping, and museums within a short walking distance. Despite some renovation taking place on the first floor, all rooms were comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit where we would "Hangar Fly" the day's operations. and quiet. Some had a great view of Pensacola Bay and the shipyard. The staff was very helpful in setting up the meeting room for our gathering, and breakfast was excellent, although they had to work around the construction. Special thanks to Starla, the event coordinator.

- DBF2004 (10/5): Nice Stay - We stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. The location can't be beat as you are in the main downtown area, and you can walk to everything within 5 or 10 minutes. The hotel was really nice, and the breakfast was really good. We liked our room as it was clean and had plenty of room. We didn't have any complaints during our stay.

- G2583ZMsharont (10/5): Want a Hotel in a Great Location at a Reasonable Price This is It - Although my wife and I grew up not far from Pensacola, neither of us had ever spent much time in the city so on our second night of our trip to Key West we decided to stay here. Not only was the location great but our room was very comfortable with everything working properly. My wife had been wanting oysters and the lady at the desk recommended a place called Atlas which was nearby and her oysters were great. The frees breakfast the next morning far exceeded anything we had experienced in a long time in any hotel. There was a great selection and it was well attended. If we are in the city again, this will be our hotel of choice. Great staff.

- Rachael (2/5): - Booked my reservation days in advance & went to check in to find out they were overbooked and had no rooms. They gave the people checking in in front of me my room as they happened to get there before me and used a different site to book the same room. Upon my turn, I was just out of luck, no room for the night, even though I had paid a few days earlier. Since I booked through Expedia, they couldn’t directly refund me and then I had to contact Expedia on my own to get the refund, which was the easiest process of the whole thing, but still absolutely ridiculous on behalf of Holiday Inn. The girl at the front desk was very nice, and attempted to solve the problem, even though it wasn’t her fault.

- 1991KEB (10/5): Nice staff, always clean rooms. - First, we have stayed here several times and will continue because they have a great staff, they are always pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect for downtown events. We stay here when we are going to the symphony. We can walk anywhere downtown. The rooms are always clean and the breakfast today was delicious. Stay here and enjoy a lovely stay.

Front desk personnel were exceptional. Shout out to Sandy and Maria who provided an outstanding breakfast experience. Room was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Great amenities.

- Sylvia (10/5): - Initial greeting from staff was pleasant and friendly. We had requested a 2pm arrival but arrived at 1pm. Our room was ready. It was quiet and clean. The pool was very enjoyable, except for hot concrete. The first night there, rain was expected. We were offered a HI umbrella which did come in handy. The concrete surrounding the pool was unbearable hot. This includes the tile outlining the pool. A child could easily sustain burns.

Not sure how parking situation is in general, but the lady at check in offered me to leave the car at "15 min only" space in front of the hotel overnight. The downtown is kind of cute, and the area seemed to be nice and walkable. I'd definitely stay here again.

- Michelle (8/5): awesome stay for a good price. - We had an awesome stay, we were suppose to have a room with a walk in shower due to my back problems but was assigned one without. I was told at check in they did not assign me that type of room and it was noted in the computer not to change my room and was told by someone else the type of room I had did not come with a walk in shower which I found out later that it wasn't true. come to find out it was a miscommunication between the housekeeper and the person who assigned the room, they did apologize. the room was clean for the most part, we did find something on one of the pillows but other than that it was good. Everyone was nice and helpful. great location!
