After they left,he typed into the computer for a while, then a young lady sitting behind the desk showed him her phone. He typed a while longer, she shows her phone to him again. After about two minutes, he looks up and says "You checking in?" No greeting, and a not very pleasant tone. Had I been able to cancel and go someplace else, I would have. That's not how you treat customers.

- elizabethrT3080UR (2/5): Rude front desk, rooms had not been cleaned, food is a joke. - The first room we were sent to the pillows were skew and there was a telephone cord lying across the bed and the temp controls didn’t work. We called down to the front desk and said they would bring us up another key. Fast forward, 12 minutes later while we are still standing in the hallway with all of our belongings on it cart and no one has shown up. My husband went to the lobby and they hadn’t even started to program us a new key. The people behind the desk are often on their phones and don’t take their headphones out when they engage with you. So rude! A gentleman in the elevator said when he checked in, the bed was not made, the pullout couch was still pulled out and messy the TV was on. Wow!! The hallways are so dingy and painted in a horrible color yellow and the saddest carpet I’ve ever seen. The only ice machine that works is on the first floor. The shampoo and conditioner and soap they give you are so small that we needed two of each per person, per shower. Heads up- no lotion! There was an advertisement for breakfast in the elevator with things like French toast and parfaits, but when you get to the restaurant, that is not at all what was on the menu. On top of that, they were out of a lot of the foods. The coffee was not drinkable and they only had non-dairy creamer. No half and half. The only bright spot of our stay was Linda, who was so kind and attentive as she made us a custom breakfast.

- DavidorTonya (8/5): Not our best visit - We like staying here, it’s central to our activities. But, We chose a room that said “ non-smoking” and confirmed it with the front desk upon check in. She said Hotel is non-smoking so that was good. However, the room smelled so bad. Smelled like it had been smoked in or was just dirty/mildew Desk said they were full and couldn’t move us. We were there 3 days and ended up buying air fresheners and a candle to offset the smell which did help so much. We did report it on the check-out and suggested they change the filter and clean the carpet. Breakfast was good. Chairs sure are worn out in the dining area, staff was cordial but not super friendly.

- Kathy (8/5): - We stayed for five nights (originally meant to stay six but cut visit short for other reasons) and never had our room cleaned during the stay. The bed was made once when we asked for towels, TP, and to empty the trash can. Other than that we only received any necessities by stopping and asking for them at the desk.

This hotel was such an upgrade from the first hotel we were at that was ALL under construction. We will definitely be back to Holiday Inn!!! Daisha at front desk was soooo nice and helpful!!! The welcome waters were a great welcome. It's the little things!! Breakfast was DELICIOUS!!! The room was so nice and clean!! There was a full gym for my gym rat husband. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were the coolness pillows! We really enjoyed our stay here! The price, was also cheaper than the from hotel we had with all the construction. This is your hotel right here ...HOLIDAY INN!!

- Global16660538370 (10/5): 5 stars - I had a very good experience at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Dallas. The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was spacious, quiet, and well-kept with a super comfy bed and everything I needed. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety, and the food was fresh and tasty, especially the cinnamon rolls! The location was also convenient, close to restaurants, shopping, and main roads. It felt safe and easy to get around. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Dallas! mainly Amanda and trish were the best employees

- Heather (6/5): - We found this hotel to be pretty average for the price range. Front desk employee was fairly disorganized for a few minutes, but that was fine! She was friendly but did something we found to be very unsafe. As I was checking in (I’m female, my husband was in the car so it looked like just me) another few people came to check in. Instead of having them wait a respectful distance she told them to come and stand right behind me. It made me uncomfortable as then she started to give me instructions and was very polite, but announced out loud (regular volume , no whispering or effort to be discreet ) what floor I was on. Thankfully, she did not announce my room number because these people were in line behind me like they would be in a conveniencestore line. It makes me very uncomfortable when I’m traveling, even with my husband ,for my floor to be announced to everybody in the lobby. I’m sure she meant no harm but I feel like maybe more training should be put in place to help keep guests safe. Room was average for the price. Bathroom and bed were clean, but the carpet was very dirty. We were exhausted and I wasn’t thinking and walked around barefoot. My feet were so brown from the carpet that before getting into bed I had to wash them in the tub and wore shoes the rest of the time. Normally I do anyway, but again was very tired. Breakfast offerings and quality were average for the price. The staff that were serving breakfast were very friendly and professional.

- GlenG1967 (6/5): Bed was very warm, retained my body heat - This Holiday Inn has numerous positives (location, check-in process, cleanliness, etc.). In fact, the only reason I rated it a 3 instead of a 5 was because of the bed. The bed was well made and clean, but the mattress retains heat. Even though I turned the AC way down, I felt like I was sleeping on a stove top. It was so warm, I could not sleep. Based on how the mattress felt, I’m guessing it must have a foam topper or something similar built into it that is absorbing my body heat. Such a bummer, everything else was satisfactory at the hotel.

The bed and pillows were great. The breakfast had a good selection of foods, and the breakfast area was pleasant and clean.
