Guest Reviews
- Petr (6/5): Somewhat decent place with some drawbacks - This property has no reception. Arrived at 11pm (management was contacted earlier and were aware of our late arrival). Despite that we were unable to get hold of anyone at first to let us in. Though I was somehow mentally prepared for this eventuality after reading some other reviews prior to our trip.
Hoping for the best, our transport driver was a big help and managed to get hold of the villa keeper after some calls and after some confusion and negotiation were finally let in some room.
No hot water available, some electricity sockets not working. Next day we were told we were given wrong room, though the "new" room didn't have hot water also. Eventually hot water was fixed for our current room and we became somewhat satisfied campers. We have not much comparison as we didn't stay in other places in the area.
The fact that the property doesn't seem to be occupied often seem to result in lack of maintenance (my personal assumption only). On the other hand, we were alone in the villa most of the time, so there are pros as well.
While I would expect higher standards at the price we payed, I must say that our young villa keeper was trying to do his best at least to settle the hot water issue for us and we ended up having hot water for most of our stay (which I understood from other travelers in the region is not necessarily "standard").
Overall over 4 nights of our stay, we made ourselves at home. Found some very good local places to eat and buy fresh vegetables as well.
