• AndréAlbuquerque (3/5): - a alocalização é premium, as instalações têm tudo o que seria necessário para ser um resort de referência mas depois a atutude perante4 o negócio é decepcioannte. mau serviço de restauração, praia suja, dezenas de beatatas de cigarro por todo o lado, ninguém se esforça por dar um pouco de brilho ou brio a tudo aquilo. É chegar a uma praia paradisiaca e depois passar hora e meia em frente do bungalow a apanhar lixo só para não parecer que estamos num motel de beira da estrada no fim do mundo. A atitude dos empregados também não é a melhor. Sempre agarrados ao telefone, sentados, é preciso aproximar-nos para que se levantem, atendem com frete e sem sorriso. Muito fácil com pouco investimento e um pouquinho de vontade fazer muito melhor. As férias são curtas, e as férias são caras. Vimos da europa, queremos aproveitar cada dia e cada experiência como se da ultima se tratasse e depois é frustrante passar 3 dias num local de forma resignada. Melhor pagar mais 10€ por noite e ir para um outro lugar onde de facto tenham interesse em receber-nos

• katherine (2/5): Bathroom not cleaned from the previous guests with litter left in the bathroom. - Nice layout of building with lawns and beach opposite. The lady at check in arranged for a small fridge to be brought to the room as there wasn't one as the room I paid for on booking.com had one included. The sheets and towels provided were all clean. Overall very quiet and relaxing area. No noise at all which is great. When I went to the room on checking in, the bathroom had not been cleaned from the previous guests. There were discarded empty shampoo and shower gel bottles, large clumps of hair in the shower, discarded empty toilet roll inners and no bathroom floor towel provided. When I spoke with the lady at check-in she gave me a clean floor towel and some shampoo but didn't acknowledge what I told her about the previous guests litter. I cleaned the bathroom myself.Perhaps there was a language barrier in any case the bathroom had not been cleaned. She was pleasant but seemed in a hurry to get away. The restaurant was closed mostly although August is apparently high season for tioman and there were no activities offered by the resort. Lots of cockroaches in the bathroom.

Bonne efficacité du personnel à réparer l'électricité du bungalow. Emplacement et présentation de l'ensemble très agréables. Accueil glacial un peu limite, restaurant de l'établissement à fuir. N'assure pas l'arrivée ni le départ des voyageurs contrairement aux autres ressorts.

• Alexander (3/5): Great location but needs maintenance and cleaning - The location is great, it’s probably the nicest part of Tioman and the seaview room is really next to the beach. The rooms are in serious disrepair and staff is not very diligent so that will not change I think. Simple things can make a big difference (see photos).

• Anonymous (8/5): Clean budget accommodation in garden setting. - My chalet was in garden setting but close to beach. Room clean and beds comfortable...Pleasant staff at reception. Management needs to close off the pathway that runs between the chalets to motorbikes and ensure that motorbikes are not driven and parked in the area where guests reside. These cause disturbance to other guests and are ruining the path which is also the only one for pedestrians! I barely got any sleep while there because of noise or would have stayed longer.

• Jan (10/5): Amazing - Excellent and cheap restaurant. The rooms are basic but comfortable and complete, with no downsides. The comfort was higher than expected for that price. To get there, a taxi from Tekek is necessary, and it’s not included in the price. The ride itself is fun, but after all it’s an extra charge.
• Izzati (8/5): Overall, it was such a pleasant 3days&2nights stay for me and my family. Love the ambience of the resort so much. Ve - As soon as we arrived at the Kg Juara jetty, there was already a staff waiting for us with a motorcycle to help us with the luggages (I personally asked the receptionist for this service beforehand since we brought a lot of stuffs with us) And it was only for free! Thumbs up for that. 👍 Next, you do not need to worry about the distance from the jetty to the resort since it is only a 5 minute walk and you can enjoy the calming breeze coming from the beach while walking. After checking in and got our keys, we noticed that the ceiling in one of our rooms was about to come off (its a minor inconvenience but still dangerous) so we informed the receptionist and she quickly asked for help from some people to fix it. And only after 10 minutes, the ceiling was fixed 👍 The room and the bathroom were all clean. But if you think the floor is a bit sandy you can clean it with a broom provided. It would be so lovely if the resort can change the door lock from using keys to using a keycard. The keys were a bit rusty so we were kinda struggling to lock and unlock the door 😅

The receptionists were super friendly, the location was fantastic - right in front of the beach. I highly recommend it and hope to visit again soon!

• Teng (10/5): Travel during monsoon for prepared travellers to enjoy a "private" resort experience - Let me first preface my experience by saying that I came during the monsoon season (december), basically during december, tourists are "not supposed" to be on the island. So when I came, everything was closed as I've expected, so i've actually packed some food myself to cook and eat. The first room I got (the garden view) one was not working too well, the aircon was broken, and the TV was not working well. However since like I said, this is a monsoon season, there was no staff on site. In fact, there is literally nobody here. You actually need to call them when you arrive for them to come over to check you in. But otherwise, they are very responsive within working hours, the next day, they changed a nice room for me, they actually upgraded me to the beach front room with no extra charges. This room was perfect for us. Everything worked well. The room itself is rather big enough for at least 4 people, 2 queen sized bed, comfortable, and hard enough for me, aircon is good, TV works, (we brought our own device to plug in) to play during those super rainy or hot days, the toilet is good, kettle, fridge works, hot water works as well. The most important thing, is of course, we got to enjoy the entire beach, and the entire resort and perhaps even the entire island to ourselves. Nothing, to us, we were prepared, so everything was cool to us. However some words of caution for the first timers to this island. Please try to avoid monsoon seasons while travelling to Tioman, the island is in a "resting mode". For the following reasons. 1) Ferries are rare and unpredictable There is only once a day, and happens early in the morning for Mersing-->Tioman, and in the afternoon for the return trips. And there can be long periods with no ferries, so we made a mistake of booking too many days, and we couldn't consume the last day of our booking as return ferries were cancelled indefinitely, and you will be stranded on the island indefinitely. LOL. If you are cool for adventure, you can still get a speedboat to get you in and out for 1500 RM one way. So totally possible. Otherwise try to book from bluewater.my Because inter "jetty" transports are rare during this time, you need to get a taxi to get you to other places on tioman. 35 RM per pax one way. 2) Food can be rare As many shops are actually closed. Suggest to pack some food especially if travelling during monsoon. 3) Seas are rough and its rainy the entire day That's what we loved. But if you are into swimming/snorkelling/diving, don't come during monsoon. Otherwise the waves are HUGE and wonderful for kids. Also cooling and rainy the entire day. We were on Juara which is on the eastern side, the waves are super good for surfing. 4) Don't expect much "service" Obviously. On the flip side, the whole place felt like a private island/resort to us. Seriously. There was nobody else there most of the time. We really enjoyed it this way. But if you love to stick around people, ya not the time for you. 5) Sandfiles Not sure if this is just this period or all the time, but obviously, this is a beach, it has sandflies, so use insect repellent.

• Mohd (8/5): Short experience at Juara Beach Resort. - - Spacious room. 👍🏼 - aircond 👍🏼 -No nasi lemak at breakfast (it's a must for promoting malaysia famous breakfast). I have to go other place to find nasi lemak for my breakfast. -Use plastic spoon, plastic plate. Aiyoooo!!! -Toilet bowl and basin and not install properly (shaking /rocking). -water pressure for (water heater) is low. - should mention earlier about the transport charges to and fro jetty/resort. - the door key is rusty, hard to take out.
• Teo (6/5): Pleasant stay with my little budget trip for 2 nights - This resort is quiet and situated at kampung juara, a small neighbourhood which you can explore on foot or by renting bike, the beach is not crowded, the location of the resort is just in front of the beach, you can have your own beach during off peak The room's condition could be improved, for example the furniture and the decoration, and the cleanliness could be better especially the air con and the toilet
