- Karen (9/5): An absolutely beautiful place , ideal for a one night break - A beautiful location , beautiful view from the room with a Juliet balcony, lovely bright very clean room , nice bedding , extremely friendly staff , amazing breakfast. The room was very hot , we had a small fan but it was too noisy to have on whilst sleeping, a quiet tower fan would have been better or air conditioning,and the bed creaked every time you moved .

Food available at dinner was good quality. Mattress was a bit soft and the shower didn’t have great water pressure. Fine for one night though.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and the restaurant provided good food and service. The room was adequate and there was a private lounge area for residents to use. - sueb164 (10/5): Highly Recommend - Location is stunning! Our room was fabulous (room 12) spotlessly clean, a small balcony with great river views. The pub itself was lovely with great service from the staff. Their menu is small but perfectly cooked! We ate there 3 nights and we weren't disappointed. No negatives really! A narrow lane to reach the pub and parking can be tricky. If you are staying though, cones save spaces for guests. We didn't have any problems.

Power shower was great, spacious cubicle. Bed extremely comfortable. Spotlessly clean room. We managed to book last available room which was at back of hotel so no view of the river but that was what we expected. Room itself was fine but boiler was very close & it was firing up on & off during night which disturbed sleep somewhat.
