Portions were very satisfying and attractively presented. We stayed in The Lantern area. The sofa bed was comfortable, however the step going down to the room was dangerous for me (70-year-old lady). Perhaps it could be painted a light, contrasting color so easier to see.

The Owner contacted us via text the day before check-in with clear and detailed instructions, for a very smooth and easy check in. The property is lovely, and owners were friendly and accommodating. They even left some complimentary snacks and drinks in the mini-fridge. Breakfast was hot and delicious!! We would highly recommend staying here if you are in the Tomball area!!

• Mike (10/5): - Older facility that has been thoughtfully restored. Very accommodating staff! Excellent kitchen with all necessary equipment and dinner ware. We are newlyweds and they had roses, a strawberry cake and a bottle of wine waiting … as well as chocolates on the pillows.

Lovely bathroom and sitting room and DVDs to pick from. Really appreciate you making this simple. It was very echoy, so since we were alone it was not a problem, but I'm the morning, sounds were coming through and under the door, maybe the walls. A nice thick welcome mat might help, or heavy tapestry on either side of the actual door might dampen sounds. Made it feel like our conversation could be heard by anyone outside. Also, I didn't feel this way but one of us was cold all night, so maybe an obvious extra bed blanket, a simple fuzzy blanket to add if needed. Maybe add local late night delivery menus. Lastly, I am going to take a closer look at Booking.com, but I was confused by the balance on the receipt as I thought 50% was charged before and 50% after. $90 was the balance, so was the fees +room = $180? If so, no worries, we are just booking on the fly here. Thanks for breakfast and safe place to land! Wish we could have stayed longer, hope to come back, maybe with family guests next time.
• Bouba (10/5): - Maple Creek BnB is clean and cozy. The staff is professional and personable, and they are very responsive. I have an hour commute to work. Some weeks, I reserve a room and spend a few nights there because it’s very close to my job. Honestly, I was mainly looking for a close and comfortable place to lay my head. Maple Creek BnB offers so much more. It’s great for professionals, but it’s an even nicer place for romantic getaways and even family gatherings like reunions. Clean, spacious, and filled with a variety of things to do from swimming to nature walks. Easily a five star review. I’ve been there on more than one occasion. I’ll be back!

The room was larger/nicer than the photos make it look. They even give complimentary beverages and snacks at the mini fridge. We were greeted upon arrival, given a tour, and then given privacy. Staff is a text or phone call away and are incredibly friendly! My only complaint was the bed was a bit too firm, but overall, a wonderful experience. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back!!

They have 5 rooms available to rent. Fun game room with pool and pingpong. In warmer weather and when not raining, they have a great swimming pool and beautiful property to wander around. Walking distance to the December German Festival in Tomball. Great hosts: they met us upon our arrival and gave us a tour of the facilities. Great food: they accommodated our breakfast (vegan) and made us delicious blueberry waffles. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

Being a New Yorker, I'm not totally used to personal welcomes and being put at ease from the moment I stepped into the welcoming b&b. The room was comfortable and clean and colorful. (I congratulate myself with ignoring the bags of chips in a little basket.) The air conditioning was welcome in 90-degree weather. I loved walking around the property and sitting by the pool in a rocker. The breakfasts were well made, and you could chat with Katie or read your book and be just as comfortable. The house was well maintained and big and open. I truly loved it and would go back anytime. Nice people, nice place, totally welcoming.

The owner was extremely nice and friendly as well as her daughter who stays on site to assist with anything that you may need. The only issue that I had was there was not enough hot water to fill the enormous two person tub but everything else was incredible.
