• Pedro Nogueira (10/5): Charme e Tranquilidade colados no Centro de BsAs - Gostamos muito das instalações, localização, equipe, café da manhã e procedimentos de check-in e check-out. Os quartos sao bem equipados, a cama é grande e confortavel, o ar-condicionado é facilmente regulavel, a tv nao é muito grande, mas possui facilidade de conexao de qualidade com celular/notebook (wireless). Ficamos em um andar baixo e de frente para rua. O barulho, vindo de fora, poderia ter sido um problema, mas definitivamente não foi, as janelas sao anti-ruido e realmente funcionam. Os funcionários sao super atenciosos, tanto na recepção quanto no café da manhã. Em 5 minutos de caminhada estávamos no Subte e em 10 na Calle Florida. Vários restaurantes proximos, ou a poucos minutos de taxi. O Hotel parece ser muito bem administrado, com foco total na satisfação do hóspede, por isso é dificil apontar um o ponto de melhoria. Eles sabem o que fazem, e nao deixam nenhum quesito ficar a baixo da média.

Fica numa zona linda de Buenos Aires, parecendo que se está em Paris. E ele é super bem localizado. Se vai a pé para quase tudo, só sendo mais longe mesmo do bairro de Palermo. O restante dos pontos atrativos dá para fazer a pé.

• JAMES (8/5): We would use as a Base Camp again on next trip to Buenos Aires. - We stayed at Carles 2 separate times while on this trip. First stay was in standard room. I would rate it as adequate. Second stay (returning to US) we were assigned a corner room. MUCH better (the little extra space was most noticeable). we were staying for 5+ night each stop). Would use Carless again. But, only if corner room assigned. No corner room? Then I would look elsewhere in the area. Front Desk staff (day and night) are excellent. Always helpful, good with English language), lots of smiles too. Location was very good. All taxi service they arranged was excellent. PS: breakfast eggs are runny. Can get a VG omelet upon request (it is not a big deal or delay either!) Think street noise could be an issue on levers 2 or 3. First visit we had level 6 (noise never an issue), Level 4 was very good,

• VERA (9/5): - Todos os funcionários do hotel são muitos gentis e prestativos. Os quartos possuem janelas antirruído. Não se ouve o barulho da rua. As cortinas são grossas e vedam totalmente a entrada de luz. Foi uma estada excelente.

E poderiam melhorar o secador de cabelo. O ar condicionado no segundo dia não estava funcionando. Ficou o dia todo sem, e passamos a noite sem ar condicionado. Perguntei se o problema seria geral, pq se não fosse pediria para mudar a gente de quarto, disseram que sim…Dormimos sem ar, eu passei mal a noite, tive enxaqueca, enfim foi bem ruim essa noite…Aparentemente arrumaram o ar pela manhã, momentaneamente, e logo voltou apresentar falhas.

Check in and check out was very quick, and they had even already marked the hotel on the map. What I really appreciated about this hotel was how quiet the room was. I was upgraded and in a corner room with windows on two sides and the windows kept out all the street noise. I only became aware of how much street noise there was while I had the small window open in the bathroom. I would stay here again, and in fact I am staying here again in about 10 days when I fly back from Ushuaia. I didn't take any pictures of my room but I did take two pics of the view. I was on the 5th floor. There was a nice selection of food at the breakfast buffet, but the bacon was sitting in grease.

The stay was very pleasant overall, with kind and helpful staff at all times. Early check-in and late check-out were both possible, which we really appreciated. • Kathy (9/5): A well-located respite in a big city - The concierge in charge was so helpful. He provided a map and directions so I didn't get lost on a walk. He helped us with bags, opened the door. Just was very attentive in helpful ways to two 80-year-old women out to see Buenos Aires and relax in the room from a 2-week cruise. I liked that it was small and not overwhelming after 2 weeks on a huge cruise ship. The elevator was kind of hard to operate (although the concierge helped).

• Lang (10/5): A wonderful short night stay at this wonderful hotel. - Comfortable setting. Very friendly and well English speaking staff. Checked in very late but still had 2 stuffs welcome us, one was stand-by by the gate and one handsome and fluent English speaker as receptionist. Everything went smoothly. Even responded to our early-leave breakfast request. We did get some basic stuff with drinks of our choices, met our purpose. The neighbor is not the busiest at night time but there were some good restaurants and tourists walking around. Street noise would penetrate into the room but night time quieted down mostly. Overall very satisfied for our one short night stay. Did not explore the whole facility. Only noticed some old carpets. But they are very clean.
