• jacqueline_62 (10/5): - Estaba todo perfecto, limpieza, amabilidad de Fabio, en la casa había de todo, en la cocina: papel cocina, infusiones azúcar aceite vinagre sal y detergente tanto para lavadora cómo para lavavajilla y en el baño : papel WC, gel, champú, mascarilla para pelo hasta una caja de pañuelos . Nada todo perfecto
• Julia (2/5): Terrible host and unclean. - The bathroom and bed were ok. The host was rude, after we had said there were cleaning issues and she didn’t at any stage offer to resolve it or apologise. It would have been a simple fix. There were hairs and crumbs on the floors and parts that needed repairing. They said they were fixing the oven after we were leaving and said it had just broken but looking at reviews this wasn’t the case. They advertise as 3 bedrooms but lock one of the rooms. It was noisy until 1am on our first night, so together with the lack of cleanliness we checked out after only one night, but the host refuses to give any refund for the remaining 3 nights we weren’t there, so has kept all our money. Very poor experience and should avoid at all costs. As they don’t want to know or help you if there is an issue.

• Kimberley (9/5): Location and great views - Location is perfect. The apartment was everything you need or want. We used two of the rooms and they worked well. Paola was fantastic and greeted us on arrival for check in and gave us great recommendations to restaurants that were gold. All three we tried were fantastic. No complaints. We just found the double bed rolled is into the middle which gave me the opportunity to use the 2nd room, while my husband stayed in the main bedroom.
• Valerie (8/5): Spacious traditional apartment in a fantastic location but needs some TLC. - Fantastic location near the train station and bus depot. Comfortable traditional Venetian apartment. The apartment needed a good cleaning. Bedding was clean and kitchen looked good but floors in living room and bedrooms had obviously not been vacuumed. Also dusty surfaces. The handle on the toilet is broken so could only flush the toilet by manually lifting the bar inside the toilet tank. A good cleaning and a bit of maintenance would make this apartment 10/10!

The location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station and Vaporetto, making it super easy to get around. The area is lively but quiet, with lots of cafes and shops nearby. The place was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the host was friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Venice who values convenience and comfort. Extra pillows needed

• Brooke (10/5): Our stay at CA Susanna was outstanding, and we would be delighted to return. - The property is ideally located within a short walk from the train station, making arrival and travel around Venice very convenient. The apartment was immaculately clean, tastefully furnished, and well-equipped, providing everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. There was nothing we did not like — our experience was excellent.

• Urszula (9/5): Sunny, Spacious & Serene – Our Favorite Stay in Venice - The host was great. He met us at the property & explained everything. He told us where to eat & what to avoid. The apartment was super specious, sunny & very well stocked with everything the you may need. The BATHROOM was a standout-sunny, spacious/roomy shower, standard sized euro plug. We didn't even need to use the 3rd bedroom (I only used the desk to work for a bit in the morning). The side balcony was very nice- perfect for a quiet coffee in the morning. The location was fantastic- super close to everything & across the canal from my favorite bacari in Venice- Bacareto da Lele. Even though the area is kind of busy, the apartment is SUPER quiet. -honestly, the quietness of it was just so surprising. The restaurant downstairs was also great. I wish we would have stayed here for the entirety of our Veneto area trip & made Venice our base. We will definitely be back. The only thing that keeps this apartment from being a perfect 10, was the two sets of stairs that go up to the apartment. I know in Venice- it's mostly the norm, however, for anyone with any mobility issues, plus the luggage, it could be difficult.

• Ruth (10/5): Wonderful Venice - We loved this apartment, both the location and the homely comfortability. It was fantastic to look out the window at the water traffic going by and walk to restaurants. It is in walking distance of the train and bus station. Fabio was a very friendly host and the apartment was very well furnished. We would definitely stay again, maybe for longer.
• Erik (8/5): A positive experience - Close to Grand Canal and the boats. It made it super easy to get around. The host was very friendly and the appartment was clean. We had the whole floor and the only apartment using the front door. It is located in a nice and less crowded part of Venice. 2 very small things: Lack of knives for cutting (only a bread knife) and only 2 coffee mugs.
• D (8/5): Venice the loveliest city in the world - Absolutely wonderful situation for me as I have knee problems and heart problems ( apart from the 4 flights of stairs to enter - but this is Venice and expected) so I didn't have to drag suitcase far from Piazzale Roma and only 1 smallish bridge to manage. It was warm, clean, super view from sitting room and bedrooms and so easy to access the best of Venice from it as it is so close to Canal Grande. The restaurant beneath was very adequate and convenient if you were too tired or it was raining and rather like your own private kitchen. All in all however we would love to return. We were 2 older women and there was only 1 suitable bed. Miine was very narrow and confined and as always wherever I travel the pillow was inadequate but I used a spare duvet as extra pillow, I also needed an extra blanket but that was available and easily found. Several light bulbs need to be replaced, particularly the one which would have allowed me to switch off the light in the bedroom without getting out of bed. Toilet seat needs fixing so it doesn't wobble about! and my friend who is a nurse worried that the kitchen tap had prostate problems as it dribbled and spurted in an alarming manner. The directions to the property were incorrect, the apartment we stayed at was not where it is described on booking.com. Fabio, who met us in our time slot, belatedly messaged me with his directions which were not the original ones. This was confusing and as it was dark and the last possible time slot which if we missed would cost us €50 and as our plane landed giving us little time to make it, was not the most pleasant start to our holiday. THE DIRECTIONS AND/OR LOCATION NEED TO BE UPDATED.

• Nikolay (9/5): I love Venice with all small inconviniences - 3 bedrooms is a rear find in this price range. top location, because is next to piazzale roma and city boats. easy communication with the owner. the smallest bedroom had no AC. for me the single bed was too narrow. some noice from early morning because it faces a major canal and the water taxi stend one toilet for three bedrooms (bath and kitchen could have mosquito net)

• Alan (7/5): Very good location and a beautiful apartment ... until disaster struck - It is indeed an easy walk from St Lucia train station and Piazzale Roma (buses), even while dragging suitcases, although the first bridge (Ponte della Costituzione) had steps and no ramp. As such, it's a longer walk to everywhere else in Venice; but then again, walking around Venice is what we came there for. Lots of charming restaurants and sights all around. It's above a great restaurant (km0); I'm still thinking about the meal I had there. So I'd say it's a great location. Fabio was there to meet us; he was nice, friendly, helpful. The multi-room apartment (up 2 flights of stairs) was relatively big; very tastefully decorated, quite charming. We wish we could say that it was entirely wonderful. But ... The toilet clogged up by our 2nd day of 3. So, 1.5 days without a working toilet, for 3 people. Sigh. Fabio tried his best to unclog it, but it just clogged up again, despite minimal use of toilet paper. Fabio bemoaned the old pipes and said that the city did not allow them to to fix them unless they really broke. I'm taking pills that makes me need to pee every hour all night long (I know you appreciate me sharing that). A fairly major disaster. No breakfast or other food (we didn't expect any), but there was coffee.
• Marion (9/5): fab location, great host, high quality. - Location excellent, near train station and bus connection for airports which is what we needed as we were flying early. Communications with host, Fabio, were excellent and he was a lovely helpful person when we met to get keys, comms before key pick up etc. The rooms were lovely and spacious with aircon in most of them. Nice modern bathroom and good kitchen facilities. We were only there 1 night and did not need them, but it had cooking facilities and wash machine etc. Admittedly, the cost per head for small travelling group for one night, but if you had 4 or 5 persons then it would work out better or if you were staying more than 1 night, but Venice is expensive anyhow :-) I would happily stay again and I would recommend it to others. Only slight niggle was that the power and heat of shower unit was poor but in the overall scheme of things it's nothing compared to the loveliness of the apartment.
• Osman (9/5): On the way home, the owner constantly sent messages to ensure a smooth welcome. He immediately answered all our question - best location, canal view, clean, no noise at night, excellent host, towels, toilet paper, shampoo etc. there is everything. I always choose to stay here and I recommend it. Nothing, Great care is taken to preserve the historical texture of the houses in Venice. It is important to protect antique items.

Close to boat shuttle and boat taxi. Close to train station. The apartment was lovely and spacious. The host was very helpful and accommodating. We loved it! Not one thing I can say bad about it.

• Steve (4/5): Great location but need to get rid of the bugs and get hot water working. - Property was in a great location. Loved the park nearby and easy walk to coffee, grocery store , and metra. A few things - the remote key (using cell) was cumbersome and difficult to use (I usually had to hit go through the process and hit 'unlock' 7-8 times before it worked, and when I run in the morning I don't like to carry my cell phone. The bigger issue was that there were a lot of bugs in the apartment, and there was NO hot water, so all showers were taken with cold water.
• Thoong (9/5): Superb - It is very near the train & bus stations. Quiet and peaceful side which is much needed after having crowds of people at the main attractions. Good food at more reasonable price available.
• Sonia (10/5): Exceptional - We've come here a second time. The location is perfect, as it's close to the parking spots, the train station and all the bus stops. The apartment has a beautiful view of the channel, where one can gaze upon the gondolas, bridges and pretty buildings. You can independently enter through a two storey staircase. The apartment is comfortable and aesthetically organised; there's a lot of flowers, pictures and authentic Venetian furniture. The AC works flawlessly. The kitchen is clean and well equipped. We'll happily come here again.

Thank you! - • Close to train stations and bus stops • Close to water buses • Spacious rooms with three beds • Kind caretaker/manager • Quiet at night • All necessary amenities provided • Clean If it's not in the city center, but close to the train station, I think it's the best accommodation option. There is no elevator, and you will need to carry your suitcases up to the third floor. However, in Venice, there are no vacation rentals or hotels with elevators available. Therefore, this is not an issue specific to this accommodation, but rather a choice between a vacation rental or a hotel.
• Naoko (9/5): Superb - Good location, Well equipped. Impressive Venetian style room. Unfortunately, the wash machine was broken a few days before our arrival. The owner offered us 15€ for “Lavanderia Self-Service”, which was located 6-7 min walk from the habitación.

• Adi (7/5): Good - There was a lot of space for the asked price in Venice at that period. It is very close to the bus station, and the local transport system(vaporeto). Even the train station is a short 5 minute walk from the location. There is a small park near and a lot of restaurants , there's even a good one down stairs. The host meet us at the discussed time, gave us a tour of the place and made some recommendations for places to eat. There were coffee & tee waiting for us at the location. A small market(supermercato coop) is also nearby , close to the vaporeto station , if you need some supplies like coffee , milk , etc. There is a kiosk across the water channel that plays loud music until 3 in the morning , if your no tired enough you might not get any sleep. It didn't appear that the place was recently vacuumed , and the toilet was not clean after the previous tenants.

• Stevers952 (10/5): Amazing location close to all transportation and yet a quaint canal neighborhood. Spacious Apartment - Amazing location close to train, bus, and water taxi transportation. Although, still a great canal view and in an area that was more relaxed than the main tourist locations. Apartment was cozy and comfortable with a lot of room. Having the washer/dryer working would have been nice.
