- Martin (9/5): Superb - Mehet was a very gracious host, kind and considerate. He would greet you at the rooftop terrace with tea/coffee of the morning were you to go up for a view and some quite to read etc before you start your day. He was more than accommodating. The area is in a great location, just a 3 minute walk to the sultanmet. Views of the bospheros were exceptional. Clean and comfortable, at a very affordable price At night, the light sensors were not the most responsive while climbing the spiral staircase. For an older/infirm guest, this may present a hazard. The street cats would often wail, but this isn't really something that can be avoided in Istanbul & isn't the responsibility of the apartment.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The only noise was some gulls which I loved and the prayers which I had planned to hear as my wake up call :) Really happy with this choice, the view was incredible and the location was fantastic! - Ali (1/5): Are you ready to be treated not as a human but as a walking money? You are at the right place! - Mr. Mehmet and good view. When we were there for check-in, there was nobody to welcome us. There is not even a proper reception. I rang the bell many times nobody showed up. By chance, I found the person to check us in. When we checked in there were killer stairs to the room. Very narrow and very uncomfortable stairs especially if you have luggage. Floors cracked inside the room. You can hear people from your room. No voice isolation. even though we checked in late, the next morning we woke up with many calls from reception. with a rude attitude, they asked for payment. When I said we were going to withdraw money and pay, they immediately started to talk about opening the room for new reservations and couldn't wait for us to pay. She also started to complain about the need to clean the room and we had to empty the room before 12. We checked in late already and I thought we were supposed to be the one that decides if we want cleaning or not. On the website, there is a breakfast option but that is a lie, there is no breakfast option. I wouldn't give them this low comment but the way they treat you as money disturbed me so much. You literally don't feel at home or you pay to stay there. You feel more like they show you the courtesy to let you sleep there even though you pay.

There is a great terrace upstairs with an amazing view. Cigarettes smell in a room when somebody was smoking, but it's understandable since the building was very old.

- James (10/5): An excellent value for money apartment with a great location and even better views - Firstly, the location was amazing. A five minute walk to the blue mosque and close to many of the main tourist attractions. The rooms have an ocean view and an even better view can be found on the roof terrace, where you can look out onto the sea of Marmaris. The rooms were cleaned everyday and had all the facilities you could expect from an apartment. The free WiFi was fast as well. What really made our stay memorable was the host - Mehmet. He was extremely helpful and would always make sure that we were looked after and were enjoying our stay. His advice at the start of the trip made a few things a lot easier for us on our first day so we could enjoy it stress free. I definitely recommend staying here, especially with how good the price was. I cannot think of anything that could have been done better

Mehmet was so friendly and kind, he helped us with transport and a lot of info about istanbul. He give us free coffee and tea whenever we wanted. The location is very good, a lot of restaurants near, grand bazar at 5 minutes walking, tranvay at 5 minutes walk . Basically I had a very nice experience staying at Camelot apartments.
- Ryan (8/5): Very good - The location is perfect for those wanting to visit the typical Istanbul sites (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, etc.). The room was very spacious for two people and the view from our room was great. Small amenities (shampoo, shower gel) were also provided in ample amounts. The property manager was the one who met us and provided the keys, as well as carrying our luggage up the stairs. Though the property manager is on-site, there is no reception. It wasn't a problem for us, but be aware that receiving the keys could be troublesome for others.

We were able to reach it easily from the airport and also we were near 0the main tourist attractions, numerous restaurants, and public transportation. The apartment also has a lovely terrace with a nice view of the sea, where we could enjoy coffee and tea. The gentleman who manages the property was exceptionally kind and friendly. Although the room is in the basement, there is a big window to outside, which allows the places to have natural light. Upon arrival, we noticed that the room was not thoroughly cleaned as there was a lot of dust and some papers on the floor. Moreover, we had to endure some noise throughout the night which was a bit disturbing and made it difficult for us to sleep. We believe that the door in front of the bed in our room presumably led to some kind of machine room.

Very steep stairs, probably too steep for elderly people. If you have huge heavy luggage, it will be tricky to pull it up those stairs. The studio apart had a very narrow shower, had to squeeze into the shower.

On arrival, we were welcomed very warmly and even had early check-in without any additional payments. The hosts were extremely collaborative with tips about the facilities in the building, tourism, and transportation. They even helped us catch a cap on leaving so that we could catch our flight on time. The area is central, but quiet. An option for luggage storage also available. Strongly recommending! Dont expect grand and luxurious facility, expect family and home style stay, then you are on the right track. - afra (6/5): - The photos were a little bit misleading. We did not realize that the room was going to be in the basement of the apartment and pretty crammed. Overall, the staff and people who welcomed us were nice and friendly but seemed to have been doing some renovation work when we arrived and so we had to sort of linger outside while the staircase was occupied. We didn't end up staying at the Camelot as we ended up staying with our family...

- Yaroshenko (2/5): location of apartament are great, but size of bed for 2 people are terrible. - only the view from the rooftop. nothing else first of picture at the property isn’t what show, room wasn’t for 2 people the bed almost are for 1, queen size bed are for 2 people was a joke, my wife book at other hotel another room to sleep for second night. stairs inside of the building are,‘extremely uncomfortable to carry large luggage.
- Aleks (9/5): Good place to stay. - The place and view is very good. The host is friendly. The tap water in the shower was very tight to set the desired temperature. Some things are shabby and wobbling. Strange smell in the bath. Not perfect, but not so bad.

- Adham (1/5): The worst experience in my life - Nothing, everything was very bad. The Room, bathroom, shower, smell, bed, pillows, cover, blanket, sink, door, a lot of video cameras everywhere, bad check in, very dirty, they don't clean every day. They clean the room only 2 times in 4 nights, Trash stays as it is for the whole staying period. The bathroom is 30 years old with a lot of bad smell and rust everywhere, shower waste water stay in the shower floor. Tawels changed one time.

- Marc (6/5): Pleasant - Location is superb. If you are looking for an apartment for cooking yourself, that's not the one. Kitchen is separated, small, and not confortable. Room does not have place to eat.

- Marisa (8/5): We will surely be back - The view from the window. Lot of daylight. The appartment was clean. Comfortable bed. Very well located. The terrace in the roof. Mehmet was very kind. Enough for a few days (no washing machine). The transfer from/to the airport a bit expensive but very comfortable and reliable. Wifi is OK. It needs a bit of renovation and I hope they can do it (armchair, night tables, table and chairs, curtains... everything is still OK but old design) anyway very good relation price/service. The stairs were not a problem even make the place different but are not for everyone.

- LENAR (4/5): - Минусов больше в этом отеле, чем плюсов. Больше всего не понравилось то,что нам даже не сообщили о том, что ключи от номера передали соседнему отелю. Мы чисто случайно зашли в соседний отель, а оказалось что ключи именно у них оставили, хотя мы и не очень поздно приехали заселяться. Просто бросили ключи, а клиенты должны искать и догадываться.
- YOOSEON (10/5): 뛰어난 뷰. 좋은 서비스. 추천합니다 - 블루 모스크, 아야소피아가 가까운 지점의 숙소. 일반 아파트를 이용해 약간 에어비엔비 형식의 호텔이라고 생각하면 될것같다. 따로 카운터가 없는 데, 밤 9시 이후에 도착할 경우에는 미리 사전에 연락을 해야한다. 나처럼 사전에 연락을 하지 못한 경우에는 hotels.com에 명시되어있는 전화번호는 연락해봤자 내부에 있는 번호라 받는 사람이 없고 구글에 명시되어있는 (+90) 539 788 46 36로 연락하는게 낫다. 숙소를 지하쪽에 안내해주길래 좀 찝찝했는데 절벽에 위치하다보니 지하로 내려가더라도 창문을 열면 반대측은 지하가 아니다. 짐을 놔두고 이후에 다시 찾으러 왔을 때 주인 아주머니를 만났는데 굉장히 친절하시다. 옥상에 올라가면 바다가 보이는데 뷰가 매우 좋아서 차한잔 하기 좋다. 단점이 있다면 근처에 음식점이나 편의시설이 좀 부족하다는 점?과 엘리베이터가 없어 오르내리기 불편하다는 점 정도이다.
- ELEONORA (10/5): Отличное расположение. Дорбожелательные люди. - Были в отеле с 1 по 5 октября 2019. Расположение просто отличное! Несколько минут пешком до площади Султанахмет. Все достопримечательности рядом. В отеле чисто, убирали каждый день. Обстановка доброжелательная. Мы очень довольны и будем рекомендовать своим друзьям. А вид в террассы и окна нашего номера просто супер!

- Verified traveler (4/5): Poor communication and rooms smelled of smoking - We had a very disappointing experience with Camelot Apartments. They misplaced our reservation, so we were left outside at 11pm for over 40 minutes. We tried to call several times, but there was no answer. After calling in 10 minute intervals, someone finally answered and came to meet us. It still took them 10 minutes to come let us in. The apartment was musty and smelled strongly of smoke.

- Silvia Alicia (6/5): Poco recomendable. - El departamento está bien ubicado. No es aconsejable para personas mayores ya que no hay ascensor, hay una escalera caracol sin baranda. Complicado para subir equipaje. Durante la estadía no repusieron elementos básicos de higiene.
