Guest Reviews
- Jennifer (9/5): Lovely guesthouse with the most comfortable bed! - We had a very nice stay at Ing Doi. The bungalows are simple but the bed is super comfortable! The owners were great and the cleaning staff did a great job. Jake and Mink have a beautiful spot with fruit trees and ponds surrounded by rice fields. The location is quiet, there are no loud places near by, just some music in the distance occasionally.

- Marta (10/5): - Bardzo relaksowe miejsce, w dobrej odległości od walking street, właściciele są przemili, na miejscu można wypić kawę i coś zjeść. Bardzo dobry internet i domki w dobrym stanie.
- Maya (10/5): 10\10 recommend - The perfect place to stay. Located close to the center (about 12 min walk) but is in mid of beautiful nature. Mink and Jake were lovely hosts, and Mink's pad Thai and tom ka are still the best we've had in Thailand. Hands down the best placed we've stayed so for in Thailand in our 2 month trip. Highly recommend. It was a bit cold in the beginning (stayed in end of December), but mink gave us an extra blanket and it was fine after.
- Franziska (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to stay. We spent 4 nights in the deluxe bungalow and had a wonderful time. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and always up for a chat and laugh. We enjoyed our time there. The Guesthouse is located walking distance to Pai Center, yet far away enough to be able to enjoy the peace and quiet. There also is a nice communal area where you can meet other travelers or hang out in the hammocks.
- Ronald (7/5): Other than the bungalow we rented, the rest of the place is in neglect. - Just a nice short walk into Pai along a country road. It's very run down and neglected. The backpack crowd staying there didn't seem to care. We rented a nice bungalow, but the other bungalows were very primitive.
- Cinzia (10/5): Wonderful - The host is great and place is surrounded by nature
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Jerzy (9/5): Superb -
- Danila (5/5): Very nice staff and location. - The location was very nice Its was very cold. Freezing. No
Blankets.
- Hayley (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our stay here! Close enough to the action, but you feel like you're out in the country away from it all. The property is beautiful, we loved our bungalow and being surrounded by so much nature. The hosts are excellent, friendly and fun. We will be back :)
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful gardens very relaxed place Instant coffee, and beds too hard also pillows were too high
- Ruan (10/5): A relaxing nice stay - Quiet location, comfortable bed and pillows, good blanket, important for nights in Pai , for at least me anyway it gets cold. Hosts were very friendly, will stay again.
- Aleksandr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Crispin (10/5): Great - Everything fantastic location Shower not Hot
- Fran (10/5): Great bungalow experience. - Best place in the world. Great location, the bungalow is beautiful and comfortable. Food is homemade and delicious, what else you are you looking for?! Water in the shower could be slightly warmer, but that’s negligible considering the experience altogether.
- Niccolò (9/5): Best value deal in Pai! - The place is charming, surrounded by nature but at a walkable distance from the city center, a hammock in the patio is a huge plus, beat value deal in Pai, the owners are extremely friendly and shared many useful tips to get the best from our time in Pai. Super recommended! Nothing at all
- Bernert (9/5): Superb -
- Dmitry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siboney (10/5): Amazing stay - This place was amazing. Great location, the space was beautiful and surrounded by nature. Service was great and Jake was very welcoming. Highly recommended!
- Tereza (10/5): Amazing! - Great rooms, really chill and amazing scenery. Hot showers, clean and comfy. Staff were really accommodating and friendly. a short walk from town too. Would recommend!
- Samantha (10/5): Hidden gem close to downtown Pai -
- Peter (8/5): Pai is certainly A Place worth A visit - This is A Good location, relatively close to Walking Street, and not far from the White Buddha and the Long Neck Karen Village. It can be chilly in the morning and in the evening, as well as humid, which is normal in a (green) jungle environment.
- Martina (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet peaceful place where to relax on hammocks, enjoining the best sunset immersed in a lush tropical garden. The owners and kitties are absolutely chilled and loving, if you need to unplug this is the spot. Everything at 10 minutes walking distance. Thank you Ming and family for the great time
- Ibrael (10/5): Tranquil place surrounded in nature - Quiet, tranquil and beautiful area, with lots of space to relax and enjoy the amazing nature around. The guesthouse was spacious and the bed comfortable. At first it felt weird that the toilet was in a shed outside but connected to the guesthouse, so it was quite cold in the night/morning, but then I got used to it and it didn’t bother me.
- Paolo (7/5): Pleasant and quiet place. Needs some maintenance and more friendliness... - The property is located in a super quiet area. Close to the town (10 minutes walk) but still peaceful.
The bungalow we booked had AC and was pretty comfy.
The only thing that was annoying in it is that the toilet was leaking so the floor was always wet. Also the "balcony" in front of the bungalow could have been organized better. We just had a old table, 2 old chairs and a not good looking reclining chair.
I had lunch once here and the food was good!
The rest was very pleasant. The place is a little bit runned down. Could use some maintenance, specially in common areas but also in other parts of the property (the view from our window was a broken toilet and a trash bin full of trash since who knows when).
We liked the place anyways! As said before it is peaceful and well located.
The reason why we cannot give a higher score is that, we don't know why, the host had a little too many rude behaviors. We understand that it might be just her personality and she likes to say things directly and in harsh ways, but not everyone likes that, and so didn't we. For instance when I went to have lunch one day and when we asked to extend our stay, we noticed that the replies were never so friendly but always pretty harsh, like there was no time to "deal" with us or our requests.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fee (8/5): Very good - The bungalow I was staying at had an amazing view. You could really relax and drift away into it. It really feels like sleeping in the jungle/mountains. The bed was comfortable and in your room you have eveything you need. Mink is a lovely host who cooks delicious food and is very kind and caring about every one of her guests. There were some ants in the bathroom area and several mosquitos. It wasn't that bad for me, because there is a mosquito net.
But this is something you cannot really prevent, you are sleeping in an open bungalow so there will be insects!!
- Mónica (1/5): Bad experience (from checking to checkout :( - Location but far away and no help from the owner The way how everything was going on there. from the moment I arrive until the moment I Left :(
Very bad human experience. When I arrive and much more when I left.
Fortunately that made me find another friendly place.
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lost (9/5): Great, relaxed stay - Great place. We had a hut with a view towards the fields and all we wanted to do is sit on the terrace and relax.
Property is at walking distance from the city but it is quiet.
The hut was big and comfortable,
Price is better if you book directly with them. Unfortunately no airco in the hut. It was pretty hot in Pai in Februari.
The common areas are pretty messy and abandoned. That is really a pitty cause there is a lot of potential.
- Krzysztof (10/5): Exceptional - great location surrounded with green. quiet place.Amazing host.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - the location is stunning, not in the center so you will avoid the busy center but still at a decent walking distance. you’ll be right in the middle of nature and ricefields, it was marvelous.
- Max (10/5): Very enjoyable - Friendlyest people i have stayed with in thailand (after travelling for 1,5 months) It was perfect
- Helin (10/5): Exceptional - The room had so many windows that we felt in jungle, our view was amazing. Breakfast was so good. The owner Mink makes the most beatiful bread I have eaten in Thailand. Hot water was available. Perfect location, close enough to center of pai(3 min with bike), far enough to sleep away from night noise of pai. Mink was a joyful woman, she was so funny, sincere and a little bit crazy. We had a huge smile on our faces every time we talked to her. Really nice to meet her. Best place we stayed in Thailand. Strongly recommend.
- Antti (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gulliver (8/5): Very good -
- Abraham (10/5): Thank you Mink & Jake ! I will come again 🤞 - I enjoyed the chill of the area. Google Maps tricked me. The location is way closer to Pai walking street then it was shown. But a scooter is anyway a good invest in this beautiful piece of our world.
- Samuel (9/5): Superb - We really enjoyed the bungalow experience. Definitely had a very Pai jungle feel to it. Fun stay! Shower only had cold water.
- Hila (8/5): Beutifull and clean - Perfect Location, freindly staff We happen to be there on Cold days and We were Cold.. Also bad bathroom door, jard to open and close.
- Claudia (7/5): Good - Our host was fantastic! Mink is funny, friendly and very hardworking. The location is great, surrounded by nature and close the centre. The room given wasn't the same as the one we booked. Overall, a bit tired looking place with a lot of potential.
The bungalow becomes very hot during the day and the fan doesn't help much. The bathroom is basically an outdoor one, felt a bit exposed. although it's beautiful to be immersed in the nature, it can be very noisy (loud birds, animals, insects throughout the night and early morning).
- Vladislav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional - Rustic nice cabin with lots of space. Great view and balcony area.
- Juan (8/5): Very good - Great couple running the place, beautiful location with sunset, mountainous and rice fields view. Accomodation is cute and conmfortable, with a nice balcony. Would have been great to have a second relaxing chair on the balcony (we stayed in room 4). You had to go down a few steps to the bathroom, was a bit slippery. Bed (mattress) made a lot of noise when turning over. Some technomusic could still be heard in the early morning.
- Costanza (10/5): Exceptional - the location is amazing. a paradise
- Snita (8/5): Very good - - The staff were kind. They gave us an additional blanket when I just asked whether it’s very cold during the night or not.
- Good location. Close enough to walk to the center, but also far enough from noises. (You can still hear some noises from other places, but for me, it didn’t disturb my sleep.) Nothing. The cottage is in Thai traditional style. So, it is good for what it is.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- William (10/5): beautiful place, owners excelent - we loved all nothing
- Jimmy (9/5): Superb - the peaceful location.
- Alberto (7/5): Good - Very good location in Pai away from main noisy area while within walking distance.
Good value for money. when we arrive they couldn’t give us the room we booked as for some reason they said had overbooking and we had to stay in a different type of room, cheaper but rougher.
- Hayley (10/5): peaceful retreat - stunning views. complete privacy and lovely owner made us feel at home. social place if your looking to meet others they have a fire sometimes. it’s located 13 mins walk to the busy centre so perfect for us.
- Panayotis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nataliia (9/5): Perfect place for chilling out on the nature! - it’s great! the bungalows are spacious and comfortable. Very private: there is a decent distance between bungalows and you feel like you are alone. Pleasant sound of the water stream. the place is located in very beautiful area, but close to the town. Owners are friendly and helpful. Nice cats:) I suppose it can be quite cold in the wintertime: bungalows are not airtight. Still, for the warm weather it’s a great option.
- Frenchvincent (8/5): Very good -
