- JoAnn (10/5): - I really liked the machiya (townhouse). It was fun with our party all together in one house. Loved the Japanese bath overlooking the garden. Once I realized that email would be the easiest way to communicate, communication was easy.
- MISS (2/5): MOLD AND DUST! - Run down, moldy and extremely dusty Machiya! Do not stay here for your own health, we went straight to bed without checking the place as we checked in at 6pm and we were tired but we kept waking up choking and coughing, we looked arond and saw the black mold in the black room and the dust on all the beams. Hotels . Com should not be advertising this hotel and the pictures are YEARS out of date. If you stay here you will get ill, be aware.

- SATOSHI (8/5): 神宮道と無鄰菴のあいでくらい、京都に住むように泊まる - 神宮道から少し無鄰菴に向かって住宅街に入っていったところにある、1棟貸しの町家旅館。この贅沢スペースを、オフシーズンなら30,000円前後で独占できるのは、リーズナブル。スペースの広い町家だから、寒さが厳しい時はスペースによっては少し寒いかも。リビングルームや寝室は空調完備で問題なし
