Guest Reviews
- Angelina (8/5): - The room was next to a busy road, but I was able to sleep well because of tiredness. Anyone walking the Via Francigena should be tired enough to sleep through an explosion. 😇
It’s only 9 mins walk from the train station (bus-substitute trains run often.) It is 19 minutes downhill walk from the Roman bridge at Pont Saint Martin.
The only thing I didn’t like about the property was how difficult it was to lock the shared bathroom. Please don't wait until you really have to go as the lock may or may not work on first try, or if at all.
- Christiane (10/5): - coucou bonjour accueil excellent hôtel très bien a conseiller
- carlandrea (8/5): - Bidè in camera
- Layton (6/5): - No a/c & next to bush road so leaving windows open for air flow meant noise.
- Tazio (8/5): - .
- susan (8/5): friendly staff in budget hotel - greeted enthusiastically by son of host. he didn't let a language barrier get in the way! hotel could use some paint and sprucing up. was very clean. pillows very flat/thin. breakfast adequate/good; would have loved to have some protein (eggs/meat/cheese), as we were doing strenuous cycling while in port st. martin. hotel is at the edge of town; we had to walk quite a ways to get to the sights and to dinner. the best-rated restaurants (fairly close by) were closed, unfortunately, making the hotel's location more of a disadvantage. the hotel is on a very busy road--night noise and walking to dinner were negatives. the management stored our bike in a secure place, and were quite pleasant in every way.
- Diana (2/5): Dinghy and depressing.... - Yes, it's a cheap hotel, but they can do better than this.... the room was dark and depressing, the wipe clean Perspex wall next to the bed unsavoury, the toenail and crumbs under the desk disgusting (see picture), the tiny bath in the room perplexing, and the broken fridge drawer in the communal bathroom downright confusing. No soap or hand towel in the bathroom (even the cheapest hostels provide this). Breakfast was awful, cheap packaged cakes and crackers, a burnt croissant offering that offended the owner when I refused it.
I couldn't wait to leave. I wish to god I'd booked into the more expensive place in town. I felt ripped off even at the price. Charmless.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Convenient and clean hotel - I had an amazing week there and I'll definitely come back
