The staff Mr Dancer WU was patiently helping me to find out the problem after I showed the booking confirmation by my mobilephone. After his effort, Mr WU and his colleagues finally found my booking and successfully checked in for me. Mr WU even upgraded my room. Thank you very much for his excellent service and the help of his colleagues. However, for the service from Hotels. com, It was not up to my expectation as I only got some standard responses from AI when I wanted to seek assistance during the check in.

We went as a group of friends with separate bookings but when checking in, the front desk staff was very accommodating in putting all of us on the same floor. When we went out and was not able to get Didi with our HK phone number, the staff was very helpful in getting us one with his own phone. Food at the Chinese restaurant and breakfast at the revolving restaurant on 23/F were great. A very pleasant stay and value for money. Will not hesitate to stay there in future trips.

- Verified traveler (6/5): lost my collectible metal body ballpoint pen - when I moved in the guest room at night, I used to put my valuables in the bedside drawer including my collectible metal body ballpoint pen. I got my valuables for a day activity next day, except the ballpoint pen was left in the beside drawer. when I am back, the ballpoint pen couldn't be found. I called the manager and house-keeper-in-charge and they searched and of course, no founding. it is pity I lost my collectible ballpoint pen, which it accompanies for more than 6 years.

Shantou Hotel agreed to cancel it, but Hotels.com would not cancel and refund the money and citing the hotel decline to cancel it which was not true. Hotel itself was very good with very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the L'Occitane bath products, Nespresso machine, and free bottled water. Wifi was reliable. The Chaozhou restaurant on the 4th floor was good for a dim sum lunch. Would definitely stay again.

McDonalds, KFC & Pizza Hut is just 2 blocks area (250m), for parents whom might need to pacify their children. Room is very clean & modern and has good toiletries. Hotel is well known locally. Would definately stay at this hotel again.
