Guest Reviews
- Eva (4/5): - We were checked in right away. The room had a bed, two blankets and a bathroom without a sink. The water was cold. We asked for another blanket because it was so cold and staff wouldn’t provide even though there was no one else in the other rooms. Close to the Bromo entrance gate. I would only stay here for one night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - For a one night stay is just fine. Location is great as it is close to the passage to the Sea Of Sands and to the viewing points for the sunrise. Stuff very friendly. As for rooms a towel would be nice.
- Natalie (8/5): Good Value with Hot Showers - Accommodations are basic and standard for the area. It’s a good value option for staying near Bromo. Hot showers are a nice benefit after an early morning hike
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was easy but ok stay. It worth The money. HOT water in shower was really pros in The cold Weather of Bromo. I can recommend it.
- Seli (8/5): Homestay with perfect location - I can‘t understand why some people talk so negative about this homestay, of course you can‘t expect a perfect hotel in the mountains! For the price it is totally worth it, the guy from the reception is very kind and gave us good advices, so we saved a lot of money by climbing the vulcano by foot instead of an expensive tour. I would 100% recommend this homestay, good price-performance-ratio.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good stay in Yog Bromo - The room was very clean a convenient. I would recommend to stay there if you are planning on going to Mount Bromo, it's very close.
- Brodie (6/5): Good for the location - This place is pretty basic but it’s REAL close to Bromo which is great for those who are doing Bromo without a guide
- Verified traveler (4/5): Cleanliness and amenities - No hot water.
Not very clean
Try to overcharge for every service
- Katherine (6/5): - No toiletries no drinking water as described. Room very dirty. Old empty bottle water below the bed.
- Gary Leon (6/5): Good Location, Okay Service - Staying at this place was all about waking up early to see Mt. Bromo, so we had already planned that this 'homestay' wasn't going to be luxurious. However, when we arrived the owner did not have our rooms ready, although we got there at about 6pm. He also didn't speak any English, and the assistant who we were in contact with wasn't there. Our driver had to help us out with the room situation. At first we were given two rooms which is what we booked, then later we were forced to move to one family room (we were a group of 4). Granted, the family rooms cost more, but it was not what we wanted nor any better than two separate rooms. The room had it's own bathroom, but no sink and only cold water. The netting on the ventilation windows had tears in them, not great for a place with mosquitos and flies everywhere. Overall, we chose this place for the relatively cheap price and the location. It was easy to get to Mt. Bromo from here and there are a few Warungs nearby where you can have a decent meal.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Overpriced.. - Location is good, really near the crater. Room is very simple with bed and old furniture's, two blankets and no heating. Toilet the same, cold water (at least for us), no sink but a water pipe coming out of the wall. No breakfast served but we found quite good restaurant just by the end of the crater.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not worth staying... - The room was not clean. The bathroom is not fully enclosed so it was cold. There is little hot water that barely lasts a couple of minutes
- Verified traveler (8/5): Convienient and clean - Nice, clean hotel, the first warm shower I've had for ages. Great location to view Bromo.
