- Ariane (10/5): Un petit havre de paix à Mirissa - Parfait choix pour séjourner à Mirissa ! Les chambres sont très propres, avec des balcons qui donnent sur une cours charmante. La famille est très gentille et a su répondre à nos questions, le petit déjeuner cuisiné sur place est délicieux ! À deux pas de la plage, cest l’emplacement parfait !
- Rifat (6/5): Good but book a AC room - The room and bathroom were clean. Had an additional bed as well. Closer to beach and all are within walking distance (Mirissa Beach, Mirissa Harbor, Cargills etc.) We booked a Non-AC room and it was really hot inside. We even open the windows at night to make it cooler but it allowed to mosquitos to come in. So better to book a AC room in the facility. Non-AC room was a hell.

- urvi (5/5): Lack of basic facilities - Property was fine . I had booked this property for two days. As a pure vegetarian, I carry dehydrated food with me while traveling and require hot water to prepare my meals. Unfortunately, the property did not provide a kettle in the room, and despite offering to provide hot water on request, they failed to do so when I asked for it. Additionally, I am a working professional and require Wi-Fi for my work. While booking the property, Wi-Fi was listed as an available facility. However, when I checked in, I was told it would start working in the evening. Later in the evening they again said it would start, but it never worked, even until the next morning. I have screenshots clearly showing that the Wi-Fi had no internet connection. Because of the lack of internet access, I had to go to multiple cafes throughout the day and night just to use Wi-Fi for my work, which was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. Due to these issues and the lack of basic facilities promised during booking, I checked out the next day instead of staying for the second night. I requested a deduction in the price of the stay since the promised facilities were not provided. However, the host responded rudely and accused me of being unfriendly and not understanding her situation. In reality, I was patient and understanding for an entire day while the issues remained unresolved.

Dotata di aria condizionata e ventilatore. Basica ma tutto ciò che serve per il soggiorno. La posizione l’ho adorata. Vicinissimo al mare, e a piedi riuscivi ad andare in qualsiasi ristorantino. La signora Cumari è stata davvero sempre gentile. Come fosse casa mia. Anche l’ultimo giorno mi ha fatto fare il check out tardo pomeriggio. Davvero super gentile . Nel complesso lo consiglio al 100% rapporto qualità prezzo voto 10. Grazie ! Tornerò sicuramente ❤️

- Alicja (10/5): - Textbook homestay! Nice staff, great location, tasty breakfast. Perfectly clean, nice balcony, quiet. Not all rooms have mosquito nets and I was first shown to a room without one. I did purposely chose a room with a mosquito net in the picture and when I pointed that out I was given a room with one, so in the end all good!
- Alan (7/5): Good - Rooms very clean. Lady always very nice with a big smile. Location was great, less than a minute to the beach through another hotel where we often had food and drinks. Also you could use there pool etc for a small fee. Great place if you need to put your head down and like things basic. obviously not their fault, Mirissa had a power a few times in the night, which screwed up the Air con unit. It suddenly worked again as we were getting up. So obviously needs some maintenance. There’s metal sticking out of the roof which is common in Sri Lanka, but monkeys banging on them all night, need to be cut off! Shower was not great, but this is normal for Sri Lanka.

Unfortunately, one of the staff members was often in a bad mood—she never said hello and always seemed annoyed, which took away a bit from the overall experience. That aside, I’d still fully recommend it. It’s close to the beach, the room was nice, and you really get great value for what you pay. The girl from the staff that seemed annoyed all the time.

- Beatrice (5/5): Ok for a couple of days - We were there during low season and Mirissa was almost empty. We were the only guests of the house. Everyone was very nice. Good position, nice room. Old mattress but comfortable. Nice balcony! The pillows were smelling bad and they had mold over and inside them. We asked the owner to changed them and she provided us with 2 cleaner pillows, but still not completely clean. I understand that she washed them, but there was mold anyway. The room has a bit of an "old" style.

- Oleg (7/5): Cheap room near the beach - Very close to the beach, but far from the popular surf and snorkling spots. Dampness and moldy smell in the room. Although there is air conditioning, they do not allow you to use it, although it would be better for the whole room. There is no ventilation in the room. Not very clean. Lots of small insects that crawled everywhere - both on the floor and on the bed. The shower head in the bathroom did not stay in place, so it was inconvenient to wash.

Very friendly and helpful hosts who can help arrange transport. The hosts can also cook for you which I didn’t have any food but is handy to know it’s there. Clean tidy rooms with the option of a/c or non a/c. Overall great little place and good value for money. Only negative thing is the bed wasn’t that comfortable and made a squeak sound which kept me awake but that could have just been my room. Also it would have been good to have a kettle in the room so I didn’t have to keep asking the hosts for hot water.

You should really try the Sri Lankan breakfast there, home-made and very delicious and nutritious. The rooms were very clean and pretty, the location was absolutely perfect, few steps from the beach. Absolutely all pros and no cons. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back! All good

The location was close to the beach and some nice restaurants (I can recommend Oh La La, it's a bit expensive by Sri Lankian standard but most things are in Mirissa or Dhana's Curry Pot which is a bit more of a walk along the beach, is cheaper, simpler but delicious). Also a nice stroll along to beach to Parrot rock and a bit further on Coconut Hill. When we ordered breakfast some of it was ready (egg hoppers) before the agreed on time so had gone luke warm. Was still delicious and very generous serving and options though.

- Anonymous (6/5): Ok for the price. - Very close to the beach with lots of restaurants nearby. The owner offered to help us book a Whale Watching tour and let us keep our bags there when we arrived early. Not all the rooms have a/c and it was too hot in Nov time to not have this as it meant the room had lots of mosquitos. There are gaps under the doors meaning bugs can get in. The shower is a wet room but this means the water spills out and flooded into the bedroom.
- Lammers (10/5): Exceptional - Kumari and Samantha are the best hosts you can imagine, always a smile on their face and whenever you need something they are happy to help, if surfboards, tours, taxis and tuktuks. We really enjoyed the big and healthy Sri Lankan breakfast. Also this accommodation is just 50m away from the beach and all beach bars and restaurants.
