It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and was only a very short walk to the local restaurant and four square. The only very small critism would be that it would be nice to have a compendeum thst had a few more details eg room servicing, dryer operation, a bit of info about the area etc

The room was fully equipped with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, stove, microwave, refrigerator. It was very clean. There was nothing to not like about the property.

아름 (10/5): - 마운트쿡에 가기 위해 주변 숙소를 찾던 중, 가성비 좋은 숙소로 선택 했습니다. 모텔 숙박은 처음이었는데 내 숙소 앞에 주차를 할 수 있다는 점이 매력적이었어요. 짐 나르기 편리했고, 넓은 방과 넓은 욕실, 필요한 건 모두 구비된 주방용품까지 좋았습니다. 체크인 해주었던 직원 분도 무척 친절했습니다. 숙소에 아쉬운 점은 전혀 없습니다. 단지 오마라마는 작은 마을로 즐길 거리가 거의 없습니다. 마트에서 장을 봐야 하거나 카페를 가려면 이른 시간 오마라마에 도착하는 것을 추천합니다.

Room was spotlessly clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and great shower. The bonus was there was a combined washer and dryer in the room so a great opportunity to get up to date with washing and reorganise our cases. The pub on the corner had good food so what more could you ask for, a hot shower, nice dinner, washing done and a good nights sleep. Perfect stop over when travelling.

Aparte de ello, gracias a esta estancia pudimos disfrutar del autentico cielo estrellado de Nueva Zelanda. Sin duda volveríamos con los ojos cerrados. La “jefa”, además, siempre nos recibía con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja. Sin palabras.

C5218CArobynr (6/5): Disappointing - NOT value for money - We are staying at many motels whilst touring the South Island and this is the most expensive of all per night. The experience at check in was perfunctory at best. We stayed multiple nights and the room was not serviced. To be fair, the room was spotlessly clean but this was our fourth or even fifth stay at this motel and we strongly suspect that it has changed ownership and/or management. It is not value for money.
Robyn (5/5): Disappointing - Beautifully clean, well appointed and comfortable. Perfunctory greeting/welcome on check in at best. Despite paying more than $300 per night (the most expensive of a 26 day South Island trip, including Queenstown and Wanaka), the room was not serviced. When we raised this with the on site Manager there was no apology - just a "my bad, I forgot". We have stayed at this motel 3 or 4 times previously and suspect that it has changed ownership and/or management - and not for the better!! Will definitely look for other Omarama options for our next visit.

Viktor (10/5): - We were pleasantly surprised by our stay in the Superior Studio at Sierra Motel and Apartments. The room felt fresh, nice and spotless, with everything new, clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable, and overall it felt better than you would usually expect from a roadside motel. The location was convenient for visiting Mt Cook and the lakes, with a supermarket, a couple of bars and cafes nearby, and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

This is a good option if you’re travelling between Mount Cook and Wanaka. The bedside lamp didn’t work, neither did the hand soap in the bathroom.
