• stanleyjack (2/5): Kent Hotel - More than disappointed. Filthy floors. Rooms rarely serviced. You had to find clean towels. Bar dirty. No welcoming. Never return here. Very poor indeed. What more can I say very poor experience. Bone idle staff who could be cleaning but sitting on their backsides. I believe they are selling. Probably why it's poorly cared for.
• Jax350 (4/5): 1 Week stay - The hotel is centrally located. The reception staff are helpful along with the bar staff. The rooms are an average size with a small bathroom and had a balcony. The reason I have rated it poor is that the room was not cleaned all week and I only got clean towels when I asked for them. I also had to ask for toilet rolls. I stayed here 2 years ago and that is the reason I chose it again as last time the rooms were cleaned daily and the towels were changed daily. I did not have breakfast so cannot comment on that and the hotel does not have a snack bar or restaurant, however there are plenty nearby. On the day I checked out I could keep the room on for a late check out this was free of charge. If the levels of cleanliness were as they were last time I stayed I would have rated it higher.

• Murat (6/5): İçmeler kent state - Rezervasyon ile ilgili sorun oldu. 13 yaşındaki oğlum ile birlikte ayırttığımız oda standart oda olarak yapılmış değişim yapılırken tartışma yaşadık. Ayrıca otelin tuvalet havalandırması ve duş kabini yoktu. Bir de oldukça gürültülü idi.

Tek sıkıntısı şu ki geceleri inanılmaz yüksek müzik açıyorlar, öyle ki odada yanımızdakini duyamıyoruz, uyardığımızda da barın izni var öyle olacak dediler ve biz saat 12 ye kadar 4 gün bu müziği çektik :(
• Cenk (2/5): Rezalet!!! - Bu zamana kadar bir sürü otelde kaldım yurt içi, yurt dışı ama gerçekten bu kadar kötüsünde kalmamıştım. Bina ve odalar olarak daha vasatlarında kaldım ama en azından çalışanlarla iletişim kurulabiliyordu ve temizdi. İlk önce odaya girdik odanın hiç bir yeri temizlenmemiş yerlerde saç kılları balkon toz içinde, banyoda sadece su tutulmuş ve kurulanmamış zor bela çağırdık ama bir surat sanki dövecekler. Daha sonra iki gün geçti havlular değişmedi aradık neden değişmedi diye bir sürü saçma sebebler yok yetişmemiş filan sonra 1 saat abartmıyorum 1 saat sonra havlular gedi ama bu arada oda temizlenmedi onun için tekrar kavga gürültü. Çalışanların hepsinin suratından düşen bin parça kimseye bir şey soramıyorsun yada bir şey için yardım isteyemiyorsun. Aileniz ile beraber gidiyorsanız geceleri önünde bir bar var sesi inanılmaz ve gereksiz yere açıyorlar masalarda bomboş ama çalışanlar kendilerini eğlendiriyorlar. Genel anlamda heryer çok pis çadırda dışarıda kalsan çok daha temizdir. Ben kesinlikle ama kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum. Fiyatı uygun olabilir ama çok az daha verin veya aynı fiyata bundan heryer daha iyi olacağını düşünüyorum. Tatilinizde hiç canınızı sıkmanıza gerek yok çünkü kapıdan girdiğiniz anda sinirleriniz bozulacak emin olabilirsiniz.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Pislik Yuvası Otel - Hayatımda gördüğüm,en rezil, en pis ve en saygısız resepsiyonistli, otel bile denemeyecek kadar kapasitesiz, seviyesiz bir yermiş. Tuvalet lağım kokuyordu, klozetin üstü lekeli, çarşaflar lekeliydi. Temizlensin diye 2 gün uğraştım. Resepsiyondaki kız suratıma çemkirdi utanmadan. Müşteriyle nasıl konuşulacağından bihaber, utanmadan yarıştı benimle. Otelin müdürü lütfedip odasından çıkıpta müdehalede bulunmadı. Zaten otel müdürü olup olmadığı da şaibeliydi! 66 odalı sözümona otelde bir tane temizlik görevlisi çalıştırıyorlar dolayısıyla odaların temizliği imkansız hale geliyor.Asansör Allaha emanet, bakımlarının yapıldığına dair hiçbir yazılı ibaresi yoktu, ödümüz koparak inip çıktık, her an düşecekmiş gibi. Kapısı katta kilitleniyordu. Tv kumandası istedik pili bitmiş kumanda getirdiler. Tuvaletin çöpü bile 2 gün bekledi, tlf açıp alın şu çöpü demesek daha da kalırdı.4. kata su çıkmıyor, köpükle duşta kaldık. Bütün bunları dile getirmemize rağmen resepsiyondaki kız "otelimizi karalayamazsınız, istemezseniz kalmazsınız" dedi hadsizce.Sanki ona sorucam nerde kalacağımı. O kadar sinirlendim ki eşim beni zor sakinleştirdi. Ülke içi ve dışında sayısız seyahatlerde bulunmuş biri olarak ben ömrümde böyle kendini bilmezlik görmedim. Resmen insanların sağlığıyla ve sinirleriyle oynayan beş para etmez bir yer! resepsiyonist kız sözüm sana:Karalanacak yerler karalanır, allanıp pullanmaz. Keşke saygılı ve güler yüzlü olsaydın da bari o rezil otelde övülecek bi şey olsaydı. Yazıklar olsun!
• Berrak (4/5): Denize Yakın - Sahile yakınlığı ve resepsiyondaki personelin yardımseverliği dışında güzel bir şey yoktu.
• Ergin (6/5): - Personel sıcak ve güler yüzlü özellikle resepsiyonda Mert Bey'e teşekkür ederiz. Sahile yürüyerek üç dakika, ancak temizliğe dikkat edilmeli ve önem verilmeli.
• LindaSpike (2/5): Avoid - Avoid this hotel like the plague! We arrived and had to wait for 15 mins for someone to come to reception. Room then wasn't ready and when we did get in it was disgustingly dirty. Nobody to complain to or even anybody who speaks English. Even had stale bread on the floor. The hotel doesn't even have a maid and never saw anybody cleaning. The bar then turns the music up early evening as desperate to get people in so you are continually hassled to go in and no chance of even having a rest. We left after 2 days.

Wouldn't have b&b as breakfast not great !! Could be great place if it was looked after
• Laurajohnson98 (10/5): Amazing! Beautiful rooms! - The rooms at Kent are so amazing and great value! The pools lovely, the staff are so friendly and they're so welcoming! The bar linekers that's now part of the hotel has the best staff in the world and true friends! This hotel and all their staff have helped me a lot, I was stuck in turkey and had no idea what to do and they helped me and got me a room for a few days and can't believe how great value it was, I mean it's beautiful! I'm definitely staying here next year with all my friends! I've stayed at many hotels in İçmeler but none compare to this one! Love you all at Kent and linekers😘❤️
• Lesley300 (4/5): Not happy - The hotel its self is nice clean and modern, however we stayed on a B&B basis the breakfast was non existent on our first day we woke up to few boiled eggs three crappy looking cereals and one hot plate with a dollop of mush that looked like old pasta and tomatoes in and would not have been enough to feed two, looked totally uninviting ,tried to ask for toast which was an impossible task finally had some made on a griddle,was still white,so we decided to go next door to a delightful place called Blondie's where we had a lovely choice of food and fruit with coffee..I highly recommend Blondie's and the staff excellent,. The following days breakfast was not even put out for us they had orange juice in a machine low level been there all week I tried it it tasted like its been there all year not forgetting its been 54 degree heat and this is half in the open. By four days later a bus of Russians or Ukrainians arrived my gosh the red carpet came out for them until now not even the bar had been open or offered to us but all of a sudden the full breakfast comes out and at dinner to the same and also the serving staff started wearing uniforms and the bar opens,,until.now also the lights had been off by the lift now they are on .and the lift well can only be described as a coffin it just about fits two people in it..the cleaning staff seem to be the only people that work there everyone else are on their lap tops all day ..The reception staff can't speak or understand English except the young lady the boys have no clue they should not be reception staff as they don't understand the customers needs because thy can't speak well extreamley limited English ,or understand what you want ..we paid an extra day for our room went out for the day came back our key would not let us in due to it being cancelled we took our key to complain as the room was paid for reception boy took key we assumed to charge it ten minutes later he asked can I help? We said we want out key he said thankyou its cancelled long storey short he did not understand us its really impossible there they don't cater for the British I would not stay again I read the bad reports before I went I wish now I had listened but I thought I would give itva chance.
• alexanderv186 (8/5): Very good - Very good 3star hotel for it reasonable price. Close to the sea, may be 5-7 minutes by very slow walking. Rather quiet in September. We were happy with breakfast. Rooms view out are mostly on the hotel pool area, some rooms if I am not mistaken have glimpse of sea view...
• melissasY7403JY (8/5): Lovely little room and good price! - We stayed for a week back in sept 2015. First time to Turkey and got the hotel at a great price. We was expecting nothing that fantastic but the room was perfect for what we needed. Clean, modern, bed was comfy, nice balcony, plenty of hot water and nice bathroom. Was really cosy and an absolute bargain. Close to everything! 5 minute walk to the gorgeous beach! Only downside is the wifi only reachable in the reception which meant if i needed to contact anyone back home i had to sit for 10-15mins in the reception, but thats if i wanted to be really picky. Everything else is great, even the bar is resonable and does some nice shisha! Pool is clean, staff are friendly. Breakfast terrible! But theres a little restaurant called Blondies next door that does a fantastic range of breakfast to choose from so thats where we went every morning. Would definetly stay here again if we got it at the same rate, seems the price has gone up this year! So might look for somewhere different 😔 Oh and also theres a sweet little lady that cleans all the rooms every morning and does a great job! Please if anyone ever stays here tip her well! We did 😊💱 Overall good stay. LOVE TURKEY! 🌴🌞🌊
• DebbyB893 (4/5): Kent Hotel Hit or Miss - Stayed for two weeks in September 2015. Upon arrival even though I had emailed to ask for twin beds (as I was travelling with my dad) the room we were first given had a double bed to which I refused to take and he moved us without any argument. Breakfast was very hit and miss (mostly miss) I ended up buying bananas from the shop over the road and having them with bread (probably the best thing about breakfast was the bread). No juice, meats had been out for hours under clingfilm and worst of all the guy behind the counter always had a ciggie hanging from his mouth. I love cats and there were a few strays but the soil in the hotel grounds stunk of cat urine. The pool area was cleaned once during our visit and that was because ramadan was approaching and they had turkish guests arriving. The pool was cleaned (of sorts) every morning early. The staff were a complete joke, the lad at the bar was friendly enought but lack of english and just not the will to work didnt help him win any friends. Who wants a coke when the 2 litre bottle of coke has been there for hours with the lid off? The guy on night duty on reception was helpful, but the guy during the day with glasses was arrogant, ignorant and downright rude. I have never come across anybody so unwilling to assist people when his job is "receptionist). The only good point is the location of this hotel two minutes away from the square and 1 minute away from the beach and canal. Needless to say will not be booking there again. I have noticed that the prices have gone up a lot for 2016 since last year and unless they came down to about £5 a night I would not consider staying there again.
• J0sie80 (6/5): Fantastic location, budget hotel with quiet bar, poor breakfast - This was a last minute budget booking to icmeler. Having stayed in a number of properties in Icmeler I was not disappointed with this. Most accommodation is fairly budget. The positive with this was that it is centrally located and has had a recent refurb so the rooms are nice and modern. Balcony was good with no aircon unit. I think it is pot luck whether you get one on your balcony or not. Air con worked well, if not too well! Ha. Staff here don't hassle you and the bar is fairly quiet which in some cases is an advantage. Staff in the bar were friendly but pretty grumpy in reception. Didnt bother us. Wifi worked well in the bar and around the pool but was not so good in the room. Breakfast was poor but as it is so cheap we ate out at all times. All in all, I'd stay here again for a cheap get away.
• SharonDEdinburgh (6/5): Could do with management structure - We stayed towards the end of September/October. Rooms are recently refurb so are clean and bright. The lift is a tiny thing that accommodates 2 people only. Centrally located to beach and town. Not too much noise from nearby clubs. The dog on another premises to the back of the hotel barking was our main disturbance. Eating area of poor standard and not very clean. Limited choice of food. Juice machine was on empty and never got refilled. Always asking for more cutlery which staff happily accommodated. Pool area and seating also required cleaning. It felt like the manager was away and the staff were left to their own devices without any guidance or structure.

• FionaL790 (4/5): great location pity about hotel - Just returned from a week long stay in the Kent. Arrived early hours to be met with a less than helpful reception staff member who showed us tovour room. our room was at back of hotel and to be honest was very noisy due to lorries and noisy dog. However room was well decorated spacious and clean. I had asked for a twin room but was faced with a double bed. I was able to move beds apart but unfortunately despite asking on several occasions had no bed cover. cleaning when done was good however it was sporadic. this hotel is ideally located however the service provided by the staff is the poorest I have experienced on my many visits to Icemeler. Reception staff were sullen and it felt that if you asked for anything you were being unreasonable. Turkush breakfastvwas very basic and some of the offered food looked as if it had seen better days. Cold drinks ran out on day 2 and I was that there would be no replacement. There was also a lot of coming and going of people nit staying as guests which left me feeling unsafe. on the whole this hotel is very badly let down by the current staff and service provided .
• Abbynumero1 (6/5): 10 days in hotel - Basically enjoyed the holiday in the Kent Hotel. the room was comfortable and clean the Breakfast was substantial and good. However the staff were not friendly in some cases surly. Apart from the cleaning staff who were very good and kept the rooms spotless. the paper knapkins were often missing and had to be asked for in the mornings the salt cellars were invariably empty and again had to be requested to be filled. The reception desk was a joke never knew anything. The wierd thing also was the cleaning staff sat down in the didning room in the morning and had breakfast with the guest ?
• Sherlock68 (2/5): Embarrassment to Icmeler! - In 20+ years of visiting Icmeler and staying in many of the Hotels and apartments there, I can honestly say, this is the WORST hotel I have ever had the misfortune of staying in. The staff are scruffy,surly, ill disciplined, sullen faced and have absolutely no idea of what customer service is about! Most of the time they don't even acknowledge that you are there. After 4 days of our room not being cleaned, I discovered the chambermaid hadn't even been told the room was occupied!! I paid for air conditioning and only by chance discovered by talking to a fellow guest that I was supposed to have been given a remote control for it. When I asked about it, they asked me to pay again!!!! The orange juice at breakfast disappeared after the second day and was not supplied again until the following week. The coffee machine, either had no milk or no coffee in it. The serviette holders and salt cellars were empty and nobody bothers filling them. The staff can be seen smoking in the kitchen and the young man clearing the tables has his earphones in so can't hear if you ask for anything. The eating area was disgusting with rubbish and dried food on the floor and doesn't get swept. The staff use the swimming pool and one of them actually used the poolside shower to wash !!!! There is an overwhelming atmosphere of "couldn't give a toss!"The things I have mentioned are only a few of the appalling things that are wrong at this hotel, there are just too many to list, suffice to say, that if you are looking for a pleasant, clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff (which is the norm in Icmeler) then DO NOT STAY HERE! I do not include the staff working the bar (seperately owned)in this review, as they were cheerful,and very helpful.
• PVFCTenerife (6/5): 10 day in the Kent Hotel........ - We have just returned from the Kent Hotel in Icmeler. Good points....Adequate size room......cleaned on a very regular basis........Great power shower....Flat TV with one BBC channel, one Euro Sport...Re-furbed. Bad points.........Rooms facing the pool are OK excepting the Disco noise from the Bar/pool area, but they do cease at Midnight. Rooms facing the Aqua Hotel a nightmare........Bin wagons, delivery truckes AND a Guard dog barking 24/7.......AVOID. Bar and cleaning Staff are very pleasant.........Young man on reception absolute waste of time and very laid back and ignorant. The breakfast very Turkish BUT edible.
• patsyx (8/5): Holiday - Apart from the initial mix up with the rooms which was quickly sorted we found our stay very enjoyable . Rooms were cleaned daily.Staff friendly and helpful especially with a lost case issue.Breakfast was ok, just repetitive.Mind you need to think about an iron as no facility's at hotel. Not all rooms have fridges , need to ask but don't always get . Location is pretty central and close to the beach.can be noisy at night from other bars but early nights is not what we come here for . • nimic (6/5): Good hotel BUT - Arrived at the hotel early evening.Given the key to our room, which was wrong, but rectified at once.Booked a family room, which was very good, though not much storage, only a wardrobe, but we managed by using the two beds in the second bedroom.Overall the cleaning leaves a lot to be desired.One afternoon we came home and all the rubbish from the bathroom bin had been place down the toilet!, second day the bins were emptied, but all the rubbish left on the dressing table!i Don't think much cleaning took place the whole two weeks we were there, although bedding and towels were changed regularly.One morning we went down for breakfast, and nothing available, the young lad who cleared the tables and one of the cleaners were trying their best to set things up, don't know what the problem was, service got better after that.We saw the pool being cleaned of a sort every day, also a young man washing round the pool at 4.30. in the morning most days.The bar staff were excellent, and great fun.The Kent hotel building is ok as a cheap and cheerful hotel, in my opinion it is the staff that let it down, under a more careing manegment it could be excellent, as there is great potential.It is in a great location, very close to the beach, and the center of Icmeler.
• vickyn24 (8/5): Bad start to what turned to be a great holiday!! - Ok so upon arrival to the Kent Hotel it was Bit of a shambles! As a big group of 10 adults & 5 children (2 aged 8 months, 1 aged 3 & 2 5 year olds) we all got told the air con prices - there was no budging on the price we all paid £4 per day - considering we had 6 rooms between us you would of thought they had given us a small discount?! We also paid for a safe - £35 for 2 weeks - we took our selves up to the rooms along with our bags and push chairs - the lift is tiny could just about get my sons pushchair in it tilted up and I was lent over him! This would t be suitable for a double pushchair or wheel chair! When we got in the room we didn't have a safe - although we had already paid! When we asked reception we got told we would have it within 2 days which we said wasn't good enough so the next day we demanded the safe was put in our room to later find they had "placed" a safe in the wardrobe! It was not secured down and we were told they were not securing it into the wardrobe! Took us 2 days to get our refund! We had a family room which was a good size - loads of space! The bathroom is very slippery we used the hand towels as mats so our daughter didn't slip over - the cleaning lady left us extra towels after we asked her! We also took a small paddling pool so we could bath our son as they only have showers in the bathrooms! My sister didn't have a fridge in her room when we arrived and after being persistent with reception they finally put a fridge in on day 3! The pool area is lovely - it just isn't cleaned enough! Again after complaint to the manager it for cleaned! The bar under the hotel is excellent! The boys In there couldn't do enough for us and were brilliant with the kids! Karen the manger is a lovey lady and we intend to keep in touch with her! Ozzy & Marco well they made our kids holiday - after dinner I often hear "ice cream time.." From my daughter! Overall after all the minor hiccups I would recommend the hotel - it's clean, cheap and in a brilliant location! We intend to book for next year! All air con & safes have to be paid in cash too - just to give people the heads up!
• family2015276 (4/5): VERY POOR HOTEL AND EVEN WORSE STAFF - myself, partner and 2 children aged 14 and 10 on arrival to the Kent Hotel Icemeler at 1.30am was shown to our room by 2 teenage receptionists. We booked a 2 bed apt but was given a room with a double bed and a cot bed , after complaining we were told to go and book another hotel if we weren't happy,as they had double booked our 2 bed apt , so with nowhere to go at 2am we had to sleep there. My partner and 2 girls had to sleep in the double bed and myself in the cot bed with my feet hanging over the edge of the bed, no air con and next door to around 6 or 7 local boys drinking and smoking drugs. nightmare!, beware if you are booking here as they couldn't care less if you are out on the street when they double book your room as they.ve got your money for the room.
