U7019JOsn (10/5): Shoutout to the continental breakfast champions of Columbus, Amanda and Dalereese! - I have always been happy with my stay at Hampton Inn when I’m in town for nearly anything, the casino of course makes entertainment easily accessible but the real winner here is the fine folks who work the continental breakfast buffet, A&D! You guys are awesome, everything is always cooked to perfection and clean/sanitized as can be! Besides that Amanda and DaLeReese are positive friendly faces it’s always nice to see, polite & ready to assist with anything you may need. Thank you guys, happy to know a familiar face :)

Great location for anyone wanting to layover, especially traveling throughout the Midwest. The staff was very nice, and a special thanks to Susie at the front desk for her amazing hospitality. The breakfast was delicious and the kitchen staff were very nice! Parking is free and is building adjacent but also seems to be overflow parking into the mall lot. Front and back. Can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

OnAir20182012570 (8/5): Look out for hot water there is none - The first night there. The hot water was not so hot. My room there was hair on the wall of the shower. Tried to go to bed and the people on the 4th floor were loud. It sounded like they were jumping around. On the second night the people in the room next to me, decided that at 2:30 am was a good time to have sex. The bed banging against the wall was the worst. Plus I had to ask for more towels. They don't clean the rooms every night. My trash was full and there was no trash bags in the cans either.Also there needs to be food places to be affordable. The casino food prices are high. But other than that it was good stay.

Hillboy (10/5): Excellent hotel and reasonably priced - This hotel is a hidden gem. Right outside downtown Columbus, the hotel is very easy to access. The rooms are very spacious and modern and the bed was amazingly comfortable. There is a casino right next to with easy access from the hotel. There are several restaurants in the casino that are very reasonably priced so you do not even have to leave the hotel for food or entertainment. The hotel offers a continental breakfast which had ample offerings and very tasty. The pool was very clean and had an enjoyable temperature and there was a decent gym. I would definitely stay here again!

Room was clean, in good condition and complete, except for lack of a safe (afterall it is attached to a Caesar's casino.) The free breafast (open until 10:00 AM) was skimpy and cold at 9:00. The Fish dinner at Brews Bros is reliably excellent. Hampton Scioto likes to regard itself as a resort. it's not; just an over-priced hotel with no close competition attached to a thriving racino (race track and casino.) HINT: Grove City, a short 8 miles NW directly off Interstate 71, provides over 18+ hotels with most offering room rates for 50% to 80% less

I had checked in digitally but stopped to get keys and my bottled water.. no one mentioned the water main break. Get back to my room and went to wash my hands and that is when I discovered no water. Called front desk and the gentleman explained the situation and apologized that the rep didn't tell me when I checked in. Also, fire alarms went off which I assumed was connected to water being turned back on. AC wouldn't work either which again I assume was because of water needed to run the unit. Just not the best experience.. would have been better if we were told upfront. 🤔

D5689THjaredw (6/5): Letting people in to rooms that are not theirs - I wish I could give this hotel a 5 star but with what happened when we went to our room was unacceptable. As me and my wife entered our room, we opened up the door and there was a random man in our room. I asked what was he doing in our room and he said that it was his room, but his key didn’t work and the cleaning crew let him in because they were next-door. Come to find out that his room was three doors away from us and they let a random person into my room. I called down to the desk and they said come down. We’d get worked on getting you another room. When we got down there, they tried to offer just to go in and clean it but in this day and age with people hiding cameras and places, we wanted a new room. One of the biggest problems I had with this is the manager on duty, never came out to us to apologize or to try and make things right. The guy at the front desk had to do everything and only apologized when we voiced our extreme frustration. if my wife was by herself It could’ve been a completely different scenario and something could’ve horrible happened. Hotel was very nice overall.

catherinemU3955PW (10/5): Clean updated hotel with easy casino access - We enjoy stopping at Hampton Inn Scioto Downs when we travel through the area, which is usually a few times per year. The rooms and common areas are kept clean. The staff is friendly and the free breakfast typically has a decent selection of items. We also enjoy going to the casino which is attached to the hotel because that gives us access to a few restaurant/bar choices as well as some entertainment during our stay.

He went above and beyond what you would typically receive from a younger person who’s working on a Saturday night. He helped me out even though he didn’t have to, which speaks volume about his work ethic. His manager needs to consider giving him a raise since he represents this hotel in a very positive light. I was very impressed! The hotel is very clean along with the room which was super clean and very modern and fulfilled all my expectations. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
cgiaNY (2/5): Avoid Hotel Because of Parking Lot - The hotel stay was fine but several cars including ours were broken into in the parking lot 2 nights ago. It was very upsetting, our family was driving home from Ohio to New York and the temperatures were below freezing. The entire passenger window was smashed. The hotel said they share the parking lot with a casino. For a hotel with many travelers driving long distances one would expect cameras in the lot at a minimum. The hotel gave tape and plastic but overall extremely disappointed in the safety of this hotel lot.
brieans (10/5): Top-Notch Experience! - The Location was perfect! The Atmosphere was wonderful! I didn't think the noise level was high at all. I didn't notice any noise! My Room was clean and very organized. I loved the bed; I didn't want to get out of it ever! Lol... It was super comfortable! I also loved all of the Amenities! The restaurant was absolutely amazing! The service from the staff I encountered was top-notch! They were very helpful, patient, & kind! I believe this was an excellent price for the experience I had. I will definitely visit again, and recommend it to my friends & Family:) Brie

cdpar2002 (10/5): Have always enjoyed my stay here. - We have stay at this Hampton several times over the last few years and have nothing bad to say about it. Rooms are always clean. General area are well kept up and clean. Breakfast has never disappointed us. We will be back again.

W7083DWkennethg (10/5): Great place to relax and unwind. - One of the fun, comforting, cleanest hotels that I’ve stayed at multiple times. They even have hand sanitizers in the elevators. Staff have always been friendly, and knowledgeable about the surrounding attractions. Anytime I’m down this way and ready to enjoy a comfortable stay and casino access, this is the place I will always come back to.
