Abbiamo avuto una camera più grande di quella da noi prenotata, perchè ci hanno dato una tripla invece di una doppia. Abbiamo avuto un'ottima accoglienza e ci sono state date preziose indicazioni per le visite in città. La struttura ha un delizioso giardino-cortile con una zone coperta dove si fa colazione. La colazione è ottima, ricchissime e abbondante. Il personale è gentilissimo. E' stato tutto di nostro gradimento, anche se il prezzo ci è sembrato un po' alto.

Camera bella e pulita con un bel bow window molto luminoso. Colazione molto buona e abbondante. Presente anche una bella piscina che purtroppo non abbiamo potuto utilizzare per mancanza di tempo. He saved us so much time and asked us how many days we planned to be there and created an amazing itinerary for us. There are two separate locations that are right down the street from each other. The neighborhood is so much fun and it's so hard to believe all the history that's around us! Our room is fantastic and very nice. The next morning we had such a great stay and the breakfast just put it over the edge! It was fantastic! We definitely plan to come back and had such a great time.

He recommended nearby attractions and even let us check out late, so we could shower after a hot day of sightseeing. Breakfast was plentiful with tasty jams, cheese, omelette, and salad. He also speaks a bit of Chinese, cool! We’ll definitely come back! Couldn’t find any flaws. The only minor thing is the AC doesn’t reach the bed well, so it gets a little warm.
Hyeran (10/5): 에페소 유적지에 어울리는 호텔 - 식사할 때마다 만나는 고양이가 사랑스럽고 호텔 주변 동네가 참 예뻐요. 호텔 주인님이 여행 계획 세울 때 실질적 도움을 주셔서 좋았어요.예를 들어 에페소 가는 방법으로 돌무쉬와 택시의 장점을 얘기해 주셨고 우리는 우리의 낮은 체력과 40도가 넘는 날씨를 고려해 택시를 이용했는데 아주 만족했어요. ㄸ아르테미스 신전 등 유적지들이 가까이 있어 좋았어요. 수영장이 예쁜데 시간 없어서 이용 못했어요. 정말 아쉬웠어요. 참 목욕용품 향도 좋았어요. 참, 호텔 구석구석에서 에페소를 느낄 수 있도록 인테리어에 신경쓰신 것 같아 좋았습니다 창문이 잘 안 닫힘

The rooms were very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The owner was extremely generous with his time and helped us optimize our limited time in the area. I have traveled to many parts of the world with work and have stayed at some of the nicest 5 star hotels, however, The Livia hotel has been my most enjoyable experience at a hotel ever. It was wonderful, nothing bad to say.

Wendraso (10/5): Super gorgeous host, gorgeous property. - Erdem is truly one of the best hosts we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting in all our travels. He is incredibly warm, genuine, and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and at home. From the moment we arrived, he took the time to patiently explain the nearby sights and gave us excellent recommendations for getting the most out of our stay. The property itself is stunning—beautifully maintained, tastefully decorated, and in an unbeatable location. It’s just a short walk to the Basilica of St. John and the castle, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. Parking was easy and convenient. Excellent value for money! And the Turkish breakfast, oh absolutely unforgettable! We are talking about FULL TURKISH BREAKFAST! Generous spread featuring a variety of local cheeses, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh bread, homemade jams, eggs, and more. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It felt like starting the day with a feast. Thank you, Erdem and the team for making our stay so special! We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Maybe the WiFi, but that could be just for the period we were there, and they solved it as soon as we informed them, so they are quite responsive in that regard.

The manager could not do enough for us and the rest of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room was wonderful and the breakfast a feast of local produce. They arranged for our private guide of Ephesus and offered suggestions to local restaurants as well as directions for our walks. The hotel was fairly quiet but located in a neighborhood, as were many of the hotels, so there was some outside noise. Nothing to make it an unpleasant stay.

Diane (4/5): Strange Happenings - taxi driver took me to Livia Hotel where I had booked a large 'quadruple family room with patio and garden view...an employee took me a few blocks away to the Livia Garden Hotel where I met the owner/manager who tried to put me in a hot tiny second floor room and offered no compensation for the room switch.....it got ugly and I had to get testy about staying in the type of room I had booked....I was taken back to the Livia Hotel and was told that renovations were ongoing...the hotel was not in active use and I would have to walk to the the Garden hotel for breakfast....I stayed in the quadruple room for 2 nights while visiting Selcuk and the Ephesus ruins...never saw another soul...never went to breakfast because I overslept one day and left too early the next...as far as the room goes I would stay here again....and there is also the less than transparent owner/manager- so- maybe not..
Ian (8/5): Wonderful Week Long Stay - Firstly, we were diverted, on arrival at a locked gate, to the other Livia hotel [ Livia Garden Hotel Ephesus ], and were happy to make that change. Our welcome was excellent, with personal advice given re local sights and eateries. We enjoyed our comfortable & spacious upstairs room for our week's stay. The daily breakfast in al fresco poolside area was excellent & staff were very attentive & courteous. Perhaps beyond the control of the hotel we had inconsiderate other guests using the garden and al fresco dining area late at night, which disturbed our sleep. The hotel could also improve its provision of English language TV stations.

Nice garden and pool, felt very peaceful, nice place to relax but near to restaurants and sights. Manager extremely helpful in aiding us to get to our next destination. Visitors must be aware that this hotel isn't in use now. Please remember to call phone number on front door of Livia Hotel Ephesus. [[ It's of no use to knock on the door or shout loudly! ]] Then, around 5 minutes, you will be guided to Livia Garden Hotel instead. Both Livia Hotel Ephesus/Livia Garden Hotel are same owners with same facilities.
Isa (10/5): Very nice! - We especially liked Erdem and his colleagues, they were very sweet and made the stay at the hotel 10/10. They were very good with the cleaning. The location is very good especially if you wanna see cultural places! It’s not a too crowded hotel either which is really refreshing. All in all Livia Hotel Ephesus is a very good hotel and extremely cheap considering everything you get!

Chiulin (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was the best in the hotel. We were upgraded to Livia Garden Hotel, which was very grateful. The two owners are handsome and very very hospitable. They seemed to worry they couldn’t give us more. The rooms are very stylish and cosy. The garden is well-maintained and beautiful. Although we didn’t use the swimming pool, it just looked very inviting. Last but not the least, the breakfast is too good to be true. It was served by the pool, which was very enjoyable. It was my first time eating traditional Turkish breakfast and I am totally amazed at the wonderful taste and quality. You must come to experience this hotel yourself. You won’t regret it. Only that I didn’t stay longer.

Rick (10/5): Everything you need in walking distance if you're a walker (bus station is only 100m). It was Great! - The hosts were fabulous and helped us with outing reservations, info on local busses, and airport transfer. We especially enjoyed fires in our fireplace in the evenings. Breakfasts were lovely and scrumptious. They turned on the TV for breakfast which first I was wishing they wouldn't, but instead of news or some other thing I didn't want intruding on my breakfast, there were beautiful vids with gentle music - themed to travel, etc, without adverts. It was lovely! Nothing to put here - it was all in all a positive experience all the way around.

Shan (10/5): Absolutely wonderful - Everything has been perfect! Erdem and all staff are the warmest, sincere and very helpful. Rooms are furnished and decorated with high standard. Stay for more days if you can and spread the visit to the sights in the areas to a few days because it would be a shame not to relax in the beautiful garden and pool after a hard walk in Ephesus. Location’s great too, in a quiet and curated area but just a few minutes walk to see the vibrant local lives, and a few minutes drive from Ephesus is convenient to get there early and avoid the crowd. By no means as a negative thing per se, just a suggestion: we were really pampered to the degree that something seems wasteful, for example, I’d be perfectly happy if the towels are changed upon request and not necessarily everyday!

Ashok (8/5): - It's a boutique hotel that prides in its friendliness and service. It did provide great service. The breakfast is awesome. All the ingredients are made in-house. It is very convenient and in walking distance of many area attractions. The only consideration that people may not like is "it's not a big name chain hotel".

Philip (8/5): - Our hotel was switched from to Livia Garden Istanbul. The staff did everything possible to insure a pleasant stay, and everyone was friendly and accommodating; however, the roads were in horrible condition, and the potential for vehicle damage was great. We should have been warned.

Christine (7/5): Good hotel but not great - Rooms were quite basic but the service quite good, especially Adnan. Excellent breakfast and recommendations. You stay in the old part of the city, which is great but you can hear the neighbors's dog and roster during the night! The windows are not soundproof at all. This being said,the personnel was kind enough to talk to the immediate neighbour. It helped a bit.
