Diverse Preisgünstige und qualitativ gute Restaurants in der Mall direkt neben dem Hotel, U-Bahnhof ist 100 m vom Hotel entfernt. Nichts!

- saxophone2 (4/5): Worst experience with Marriott group ever - Of all Marriott hotels that I’ve stayed over the years and attained the lifetime platinum status, my experience staying for the one night at Meixi Lake Hotel on10-Dec-2024 is the worst. The hotel management is not only selfish but also very unthoughtful of other customers. If there’s an agreement with the table tennis association with exclusive rights to certain facilities within the hotel like the gym, steam room, etc. for a period of their stay 10th to 18th Dec and restriction imposed on other customers to access these facilities, customers should be informed in advance of their check in about these limitations. They should be given ample times to decide if they want to keep the reservations and live with the restrictions or change the hotel. By informing the customers this situation at the time of check in only gives customers no choice and options but to put up with the selfish acts of the hotel management. I’m very disappointed with the hotel high handed way of managing this situation, especially for a LIfetime Platinium Elite Member who have been a loyalist to this group. My advice to the manager at the time of check out this morning is to pre-alert those customers about to check in for the next few days so they don't get the same bad experiences as I have gone through. Hopefully she understands and values other customers as the table tennis association😔

The location quite nice, near to the subway and there is a big shopping mall nearby. Especially the view there, ssssuper nice, a big lake just nearby, and you can see the skyline of Changsha in your room and the architecture next is incredible! Absolutely everything catered for and the staff wonderful, special mention to the staff sherry & sunnie who are really enthusiastic and nice. I felt like I’m so welcomed and they treated me like an old friend, they shared a lots of informations and give me suggestions even this is my first time here. I received a room upgrade to a suite overlooking the whole lake. Club lounge was in lobby bar and provided very affluent happy hour dinner. Service was excellent.

The staffs are very nice and I was welcomed by Ms. Rachel at the receptionist right after my arrival. Ms. Molly ZHU is also very helpful and the tiny problem I encountered was solved immediately. Good response abolity. I also got great help from Ms. Cindy LI of Housekeeping and the sanitary condition of the room is far beyond expectation. No doubt my friends and I will definitely come back for another great stay.

Check in and out happened to be the same staff, Tina Zhang, give us great service and lovely smile all the way thru, much appreciated for rich info provided, excellent. Food is also great, by far is the best since pandemic. (I had visited mote than 10 Bonvoy hotels since convid-19 outbreak). Miss out the lounge club happy hour as I am not free at that time. Will try next time. Room is spacious, and has great view, perfect for family with 2 kids. The only not perfect one is the BBQ set at night as when food came, not hot already. Maybe it is actually not a good choice to have it as in-room dining.

Except with the excellent furbishment, epuipments and service, the hotel has done great disinfection work for all the area including in and out the room with marks informed, also prepared several masks for my travelling. That really moves me during such a serious period and gave me a comfortable, safe stay with Changsha. Thanks for the front-end assistance who has upgraded a lake-view room for me with welcome gifts, and thanks for Jame Jiang, the bell boy helped me with my luggage when leaving and carefully gave me a card informed the taxi I took.
