• Lena (9/5): An overnight stay with sunsets, karoo lamb and sweet dreams - We were welcomed back warmly and Rob was very helpful with our trailer, thank you. He also helped us with directions to the valley of Desolation and we had the most magnificent sunset up there. The breakfast was excellent thank you for a great overnight stay on our roadtrip.

The property offers secure parking inside, which provided peace of mind during our visit. We stayed in the upstairs room, which was incredibly spacious and felt like a honeymoon suite. The comfortable king-sized bed was adorned with crisp, clean white sheets, ensuring a restful sleep. The sitting area offered beautiful views of the nearby mountains, adding to the charm of the room. Our breakfast was fantastic—friendly staff at the breakfast reception made us feel very welcome. The vegetables served were freshly harvested from the garden; we particularly enjoyed watching the spinach being picked for our omelettes. The homemade sweet potato bread was absolutely delicious. The town felt safe enough for us to walk to Hello-You Cuisine restaurant, which we appreciated. Our host, Vicki, kindly booked our dinner reservations, a gesture we found very helpful. Overall, our experience was exceptional, and we would definitely love to visit again. Thank you for a memorable stay!

From the moment we arrived, Aimee and Rob made us feel like old friends – genuinely the friendliest people, and nothing was too much trouble. All our needs were catered for without us even having to ask. The room was spotless with an awesome king-size bed that gave us the best sleep we've had on the road in months. Loved the little touch of having wines waiting in the room fridge – perfect after a long drive. Breakfast was brilliant – homemade, generous, and clearly their signature. We sat on the deck looking out at the epic mountain views with coffee in hand, and it was pure Karoo magic. The pool was a bonus on a hot afternoon, and the whole property has that relaxed, "perfectly imperfect" charm that makes you want to linger. We will definitely be back. If you're passing through Graaff-Reinet, don't miss it. Nothing

Rob and Amy are the most down to earth hosts and nothing is a problem. Nothing not to like.

• Ralf (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft, beste Gastgeber, super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis in einer sehr schönen kleinen Stadt mit tollen Au - Wir waren drei Nächte in der Deluxesuite, die sehr groß und gut ausgestattet war. Der Garten hatte ein Boma mit einem großen Sofa und einem Esstisch, an dem auch das wunderbare Frühstück serviert wurde. Rob und Aimé sind tolle witzige Gastgeber und haben uns sehr gute Tips (Restaurants, Ausflugstips usw.) gegeben. Auch für unsere Weiterreise. Alle Tips waren super und haben uns sehr geholfen. Eigentlich nichts. Außer vielleicht, dass die Toilette in der Deluxesuite nicht abgetrennt ist. Wer also als Freunde reist oder Privatsphäre möchte, sollte ein anderes Zimmer buchen :-)
• Karina (10/5): Wir kommen wieder. - Aimee und Robert nehmen sich Zeit für ihre Gäste, geben Tipps und reservieren auch einen Tisch für das Abendessen im Restaurant des Ortes. Das Loft war traumhaft und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Top Lage, um zu Fuß in die Stadt zu gehen.
• karin (10/5): Hernieuwde kennismaking met Graaff Reinet. - Een zeer relaxte sfeer met leuk ingerichte kamers, een zalig bed, een heerlijk (keuze)ontbijt en uitermate vriendelijke mensen. In de tuin staan lekkere ligbedden en stoelen. Je kunt naar de restaurantjes lopen (ca.15/20 min. )
• Kees (7/5): Eenvoudig maar leuk verblijf in een mooi huis - Mooi huis met meerdere kamers in een rustige wijk. Zwembadje in de mooi aangelegde tuin. Airco werkte alleen 's nachts. Overdag was er niet genoeg stroom beschikbaar.

• André (7/5): Für einen kurz Aufenthalt gut geeignet. - Sehr nettes Gastgeberpaar, die Zimmer sind in einem Anbau zum Hauptgebäude. Das Zimmer mit großem Badezimmer, ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet, hat im Schrank einen Kühlschrank aber keinen Safe. Die Anlage mit Garten (Pool war nicht so einladend) liegt etwas von einer wenig befahrenen Straße zurück und die Zufahrt zu den Parkplätzen ist durch ein automatisches Tor möglich. Der Gastgeber gibt gerne Tipps für Gastro und Ausflüge. Das Wi-Fi hat funktioniert. Das Frühstück wurde auf der Terrasse (im Sommer) serviert, Selbstbedienung war bei der Müsli-Bowl Zusammenstellung möglich, frisches Obst, Ceralien und Yoghurt. Klimaanlage und Ventilator waren vorhanden und haben gekühlt. Wasserkocher für Tee und Kaffee ist vorhanden. Der Zimmerboden aus Beton war mit in die Jahre gekommenen Teppichen belegt. Die Trennung Bad - Zimmer war eine Bretter-Schiebetür. Es wären im Bad und Zimmer einige Verbesserungen möglich. (Eine Schilfrohrdecke ist zwar nett, aber die Insekten freuen sich auch)
