The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. It’s clear the staff takes pride in keeping everything in top shape. I especially want to recognize Courtney at the front desk—she was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. Customer service like that makes all the difference. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Super convenient. Atmosphere was lovely, always coffee and always greeted with a smile and helpful attitude. Especially Deja! She is so pleasant and helpful! Rooms are perfectly cleaned. Microwave, toaster, and two little stove tops for personal cooking. Lobby always clean. And the value is right in mine and my husband’s price range especially for all that is accompanied with it. Laundry room very clean and also not expensive. Just $5 for wash and dry! I recommend highly!

My only complaint was that when I went to take a shower there was no shampoo and no body wash so that was very awkward. That’s a really small thing, but otherwise the bed was really comfortable and it was all very clean.

Our room window faced the outdoors where it was trees unlike the forest no traffic no cars no noise except for the bugs at night which was wonderful thank you for the great day.

• Sage (10/5): Everything is excellent but breakfast is not inclu - One of the cleanest hotels I ever stayed at and some of the most friendly staff I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. My only critique is that no breakfast is included, and while they have a breakfast for purchase, it's frozen breakfast sandwiches or burritos. So unfortunately that's not adequate if you're traveling for a sports competition. But if you're not going for sports there is nothing to criticize.

• Billi (2/5): - We stayed at MyPlace in Kalispell last year; had a great experience, so opted to stay here in Independence. I stressed to front desk staff that we needed a quiet room. I have a sleep disorder and take medication, we were traveling with a pet, and working remotely. The staff member, Jodi, assured me 103 was quiet, as the people next door were quiet. Around 10 pm, the neighbor in 101 started slamming their door so hard, running in and out, it was shaking the walls. I called the desk. I heard Jodi address someone coming back inside about the door slamming. It kept on and on. I got up, medicated and half dressed, and stood in the doorway to my room at almost 11 pm. I was assured by Jodi that she would speak with them again and if they didn’t stop, they’d be ask to leave. This went on until 2 am. I spoke with another staff member, Vincent. He said he heard the door slamming and saw the woman taking her trash out at midnight. Woke up again at 1:19 am. Around 2 am, I called again. I was told they could move me to a different room. At 2 am?! With my medicated self, work equipment, dog, half dressed, etc. So the answer is to punish the guest that is adhering to the quiet time hours policy! I spoke with manager, Adam, in the morning. He offered me nothing. Told me it was my fault for not moving rooms at 2 am. He wouldn’t even waive the pet fee. Seems kind of unfair to me that I have to pay extra for my well-behaved dog but people can be disruptive to other guests and nothing is done!

• IAtodd2 (6/5): Clean and quiet room, but... - The good: Comfortable room and bed. Quiet. Not a chaotic zoo like some hotels are over a busy summer weekend. Room itself was very clean. Meh: The inside of the microwave looked like it had never been cleaned. Decided not to risk cooking anything in it. As for cooking, I don't think Myplace wants you to cook anything in their kitchenettes, since there is absolutely nothing to cook with and nothing to eat with in the rooms. I don't even recall seeing coffee cups for the coffee maker... and the cofee supplies appeared not to be replenished, as there was just one pack of regular coffee grounds, and room coffee stations ALWAYS have decaf. So, if you have zero need to actually cook anything, and you have zero need for a continental breakfast, then this Myplace is fine... albeit overpriced if you don't need those things. Another big issue for us was that we checked into two rooms at 5:15pm, with our kids staying in the 2nd room. The desk person said he would try to move things around so our rooms could be close together, so we waited 10 minutes, and he seemed to imply that he was successful, but our kids were at the opposite end of the building, on a different floor (i.e., it would have been hard to find two rooms farther apart). Then we learned that housekeeping had not cleaned one of the rooms yet, so we had to put all of our stuff in one room. After all that wait, I would have thought we'd at least get a room that was ready for us, since we certainly didn't get a room near our kids! One more minor issue: With as many rooms as is in this hotel, I would have expected a 2nd elevator. Wasn't an issue for us, but a) it could have been if the place were busier, and b) I've been at big hotels and had to haul stuff up and down stairs when the one elevator goes down. No thanks!

• Rebecca (10/5): - Despite not being a big chain hotel, this is the BEST stopover hotel we’ve EVER stayed at. Everything is sooooooo clean it looks brand new. The bed and pillows are super comfortable. AC worked perfectly. This is our second time staying here and we can’t say enough good things about it. Bonus: we tried the Carvers across the parking lot and it was delicious.

• shannon (2/5): Horrible! - Do not stay here! My husband and I stayed here with our 3 kids. I reserved a 2 queen room. Called and confirmed the reservation a few days before our stay, which they stated we had a queen room. We get to the room, which stunk the whole way to and in the room. Where I had a sleeping toddler in my arms and we walk into a one queen bed. The front desk lady was SUPER friendly and tried to accommodate as much as she could. (No cots available either) our family was exhausted from traveling so we decided to make the best of it since we were told our room would be refunded. We were given more pillows and blankets and one child slept in a chair, toddler with us, and another child on the floor. I followed up the next day and they refused to refund our room because it was non refundable. Which is ridiculous because the TWO QUEEN room was non refundable, which is not what I got. The front desk lady was very very wonderful and the only upside to this place. It stunk of weed and vomit. To top it off it was my birthday and the start of our vacation, so would never recommend nor stay at again!
