It’s our bad for not checking, but no elevator made it hard for our mother. That’s our lesson to learn to check before booking next time. 😀

Bristol is so cute and quaint and this property is right in the center of it all. Great local dining and shopping options and very close to some hikes and walks. Had a fantastic stay

- Beatriz (10/5): - ⸻ A Grateful Washingtonian Mom’s Experience in Burlington, Vermont I came up from Washington, D.C. with my senior high school son to visit Middlebury College. As a Black family traveling to a town where we quickly noticed there weren’t many people who looked like us, I was honestly a little nervous about how we’d be received. But staying at Bristol Suites hotel in Burlington changed everything all thanks to the hotel keeper Ms. Niko. From the moment we arrived, Ms. Niko welcomed us with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. She made sure our room was perfect and that we felt comfortable and safe. When we realized there were no taxis or Ubers available to get us to the college, Ms. Niko didn’t hesitate she offered to drive us herself so we wouldn’t be late for my son’s meeting. That act of generosity meant so much to me. It wasn’t just good service it was compassion and community. Ms. Niko went above and beyond, and I’ll never forget it. If you’re ever visiting the area, especially as a Black family, know that there are people here who see you and will look out for you. Ms. Niko is one of them.

- Robert (10/5): - Loved the overall vibe of the place. My wife said she felt like she was staying in someone's home. Only suggestion would be some type of non-skid surface in the tub/shower.

During the week she works at the high School in the cafeteria and knows my grand son Addy Halby! It was a pleasure for me to meet her.

- Peter (10/5): - This is a classic Vermont Inn. Easy drive to Middlebury. Everything was just lovely. Nice firm bed. Really spacious with full refrigerator.

- Joanna (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable with interesting decorations. Went to view the eclipse and the staff called before we arrived to ask if they should set aside eclipse glasses for us. Above and beyond! On site staff was also very helpful. Minor bummer was that the ice machine was broken. Located right in the middle of cute gift shops and nice restaurants. The whole town was hospitable towards the horde of tourists.

- Lyudmila (9/5): Cozy apartment near skiing resorts - Very cute 2 beds with a kitchen and a living room. Just right size for a family of 3-4! Having an option to cook breakfast was pretty convenient before we went skiing. The kitchen had everything you need: teapot, toaster, coffeemaker along with pans and dishes. Shaw's right across the street. Salt with pepper and olive oil would be nice to have there.

- Katherine (10/5): - You can't beat this town. It is absolutely charming and filled with desirable amenities. I love visiting. Bristol Suites is central, beautifully attended and stress free. You just use the door code and you are home.

- Michael (10/5): - The distance posted on Expedia to SugarBush ski mountain was misleading. Expedia said it was 8.36 miles from the mountain and actual distance is 22 miles. Thats significantly more especially when driving on mountain road in the winter. NOT HAPPY about that.

- Sue (7/5): Quick stay. Accommodations acceptable. - The location is very close to our son, very convenient. We are not city people though. It was nice and quiet. My husband found himself itching all over in the morning and suspected it was a laundry detergent used with the sheets. The love seat cushion is so old it was hard to be comfortable on it.
- Linda (10/5): If there is a need again to stay in the area, we certainly will be back. - The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The young girl that was in the store was wonderful to talk to. This was absolutely a beautiful place to stay at. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved everything!
