Great location, friendly staff, affordable No hot water in the showers, which is great when it’s hot but nice to have a warm shower sometimes. They turn the air on off during the day so if you want reprieve from the heat you need to find a cafe.

Únicamente como área de oportunidad, en las habitaciones compartidas podría añadirse mayor privacidad, por ejemplo con cortinas en las literas. Todo lo demás, impecable.

• Héctor (9/5): Buena ubicación, un lugar agradable y personal atento. - Tiene una buena ubicación ,si llegas por la terminal ADO de la 5ta avenida el hostal queda muy cerca, si llegas en el transporte de las camionetas queda un poco más retirado; a unos cuadras queda la playa, el hostal es un lugar céntrico. La piscina es fantástica y sus instalaciones son lindas. Hace falta limpieza en los casilleros del dormitorio mixto, no guardé mi ropa dentro pues en el único que estaba vacío había tierra. Fuera de eso todo estuvo bien.

(No ofrecen desayuno) Hacía mucho calor y el aire en la habitación lo prendían ellos solo de noche. Los espacios para las pertenencias personales son muy pequeños y no ofrecen candado, ni llave para la habitación.

• Weber (9/5): Superb - Very nice and chill place. Not too crowded, nice pool area! The staff is very friendly, rooms and bathrooms clean and the beds comfortable. Location is great, just a few minutes by foot the 5th avenue and the beach, many restaurants close by. During the weekend it was very noisy because of music playing from other hostels. Some more lounges around the pool would be nice to have.

• George (7/5): Modern hostel in good location - The hostel felt very clean and modern and the staff were nice. They had diving lessons there if that's something you're interested in. We showed an interest in things happening in Playa del Carmen but didn't get much info only to come back from dinner to find out there was a party going on. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel and think they could improve the communication and social side of the hostel.

• Dirk (7/5): Okayish Hostel - Good location. Clean. Close to all Bus Stations. Good Internet Bit expensive for what it is. Towels rental costs 100MXD, which is kind of ridiculous for a hostel. You can't bring your own drinks...since they have their own bar, with which they want to make more money. It's feels like it's mostly used for diving lessons. All in all, it's not the best vibe for a hostel.

• David (10/5): great Hostel and fun - one of the better hostels on many levels. not perfect because your sharing a room. but the place itself is clean and fun ac went out and had a startle room mate that woke up every 30 minutes banging his show on the wall. I felt bad for him. but other than that ypu can't do anything other than get a room by yourself. I was still pleased with my stay. The staff are all nice and fun people.

The room was very moldy; you could see mold on the walls, and the entire room smelled of it. They did try to use spray to cover the smell but it only worked for few hours. After checking out and moving to another accommodation, I found that all my towels and clothes smelled moldy. There was one party night, and the noise was so loud that it went on until almost 4 a.m. I was half asleep the whole night. Cool for the party, but not cool for people trying to rest.

AC works from 7PM to 9AM. no fans in dorm and thus very hot when AC not open and suffer a lot from mosquitos. No any water at all in the last day. Extremely loud Music every night until early morning, they should have a quiet time requirement.

I did the upgrade to a personal room but the room was small, all the lights came from everywhere they have different windows (see pictures), even if they had big curtains to close it, the room definitely was not worth the price I paid The hotel/hostel is a party hostel so if you want to sleep, keep in mind the music is loud until 1am

• Martin (6/5): - I was not expecting having to pay a rent fee and deposit for my towel. Which would have not be a problem as long as it was mentioned before booking. Employees had an attitude when I asked basics about the property, giving me very short to no answers. It was like I was supposed to know the place and how things work around there. Air conditioning was not working properly in the shared room (I complained about it and they were like... it works fine.😂😂😂) so I decided to upgrade to a private room. In this new room the top bed sheet was not changed, there were what it seemed like food stains. When I asked the lady in charge about it, she said everything was changed and clean.

• Kirkland (2/5): Highly disappointed with the service! - I had ask to extend my stay and I was told that no beds were available. I notice that there were 4 other beds that were avaible, so I went to hotels.com to book a reservation for another night. I was able to and still was denied to extend. I ask what was the reason. The lady at the front desk could not give me an answer. I asked to speak with the manager and then another man went down the street to call the police once I stated I was going to give a bad review on Hotels.com, Google and Facebook. I was asked to leave once the police arrived 5 hours before checkout without a refund. Highly disappointed with the service.

• Paul (6/5): pas vraiment emballé mais en tout cas propre... - si vous aimez le bruit et la fête vous y serais bien, rien a dire sur la propreté (ce qui est déjà bien!) en revanche la cuisine est très mal équipé et je me suis fais piqué de la nourriture (et en discutant je me suis rendu compte que je n'étais pas le seul petit casier à cadenas pour les petites affaires mais pas de casier pour les sacs dans dortoir de 6 (les autres je ne sais pas. attention, a l'arriver ils vous demande une taxe supplémentaire de 20 pesos qui est justifié par ... vous m’aurez compris!!! sinon le cadre est agréable, dommage que la piscine ne sois pas vraiment accessible la journée car on y croise des plongeurs en apprentissage... :-)

El chef comida deli, buen sabor (es opcional comer ahi, pero me parecio una buena idea y es economico), buenas opciones en la semana. Ubicación grandiosa, cerca de la 5ta, de bares, de la playa.

Wir hatten zu viert ein Zimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer. Preise Leistung stimmt.

The staff assisting and almost all guests were Argentinians so pretty much felt like was an outsider but was fine with me as I minded my own business. Otherwise the bathrooms were clean. There is a pool, which is cool. Very loud at nights but if you don't mind this would be for you. Maybe would return.

• Rebecca (10/5): Awesome staff, clean beautiful location. - Great location and super clean. Loved the pool. They played a soccer game from a projector above the pool. We stayed in a private room with a huge balcony. Everyone was beyond nice. As with most hostels, don't expect to sleep before 1 or 2am but that didn't bother us. Will definitely stay here again.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Great hostel - The infrastructure is great: amazing garden area with an amazing pool and great rooms and bathrooms, but the service is ok, in particular the reception. he's not really interested in his job and tried to keep some extra pesos if you forget to claim the deposit. the rest of the staff do a better job. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bathrooms as clean as well and have great hot water, the kitchen is small but it's everything you need.
