- Heleen (9/5): Perfectly located for skiers in Châtel - This hotel has a very good location in Châtel. It’s truly value for money. Two of the three rooms had a renovated bathroom, the third had a new bath. The double beds were rather small - especially for tall people. The breakfast buffet was perfect. Fresh fruit and eggs, warm bread and tasty yoghurt. For dinner, the restaurant offers very good local dishes. Take into account that even as a hotel guest, you need to reserve for breakfast and dinner upfront… your table is not reserved automatically. The only downside is that the restaurant only opens at 7pm. You don’t have a bar to have a drink after ski or day activity. Also, breakfast is served between 8am and 10am, which is quite late for early skiers.

- christophe (10/5): Court séjour pour un client avec lequel nous fédérons notre relation en montagne et sur des skis. Je logeais au Kandahar - La paisibilité, le calme, mais malgré tout l’écoute des membres du KANDAHAR ??

Il ne manque rrien dans les chambres et SDB. Petit déjeuner varié, fourni et de qualité. Tout est bien dans cet hôtel, nous reviendrons. Parking gratuit devant l'hôtel. RAS.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Älteres Haus, aber mit tollem Ausblick - Sehr schöne Umgebung mit Blick in die Berge. Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt neben dem Haus. Räume gemütlich und rustikal mit umlaufendem Balkon. Das Bad war neu und modern. Die Bettwäsche hätte etwas neuer sein können. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Der Preis ist vollkommen ok.
- Peter (7/5): Schönes Hotel weit entfernt vom Dorfzentrum - Das Zimmer war okay, klein und sauber. Das Frühstück war gut, mit verschiedenen Broten, Käse, Fleisch, Müesli und Früchten. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. WC und Dusche sind getrennt, das WC war mir zu klein. Das Hotel befindet sich ganz unten am Fluss, der Fussmarsch ins Dorfzentrum dauert ca. 20 Minuten. Dies hat uns nicht gefallen, aber wir hätten uns selber darüber informieren können.

- Michael (7/5): Overnight in the outskirts of Chatel before our main ski trip. - Ok for our one night stay. Good restaurant on site. Pleasant staff. Parking. Ample breakfast. Room was very tired and old fashioned and would not have been comfortable for a longer stay. Toilet compartment in the room was tiny - difficult to even get in! The water was only tepid in the evening, but good and hot the following morning. As usual with French hotels, no tea or coffee in the room - would have been nice after a long day's drive. Not really walkable to get into Chatel itself.

- Philippe (10/5): Hôtel calme et sympathique - J'ai failli ne pas pouvoir dormir à l'hôtel, car il y a eu un soucis entre l'hôtel et le site Hôtel.com. l'hôtel n'accepte plus les chiens et sur le site c'était indiqué l'inverse. Les propriétaires m'ont quand même hébergé avec ma chienne

Baignoire sans paroi de douche ni fixation pour le pommeau de douche donc on met de l'eau partout. Accueil irréprochable, beaucoup de charme si on aime la déco montagnarde. Bon rapport qualité prix. Petit déjeuner très bien. Mais vraiment chambre minuscule.
- Arno (8/5): - Il fait bon descendre au Kandahar. Nous sommes très bien reçus et le service est très familial et attentionné. Un petit bémol concernant les toilettes de notre chambre très petit. Nous avons testé le restaurant aussi. Bonne bouffe, attention à la cuisson de la viande mais l'erreur a été vite réparée. Aliments de qualité et frais dès que c'est possible. La charcuterie est excellente. À essayer!

- Fatmir (10/5): Good Hotel - Qe had one night stay at this hotel. We liked the hotels welcoming feel and coziness.Room was clean and spacious and view from the balcony amazing. The only negative was nonfunctional TV and Wi-Fi ...but hey who needs TV and Wi-Fi in such a beautiful place ?!
