Staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Beautiful room, delicious breakfast and a lovely communal space to sit around the fireplace. Nothing.

C'est surchauffé, on était obligés de dormir la fenêtre ouverte avec le chauffage. Le personnel répond en anglais quand on fait l'effort de parler espagnol, ce n'est pas agréable. Prix du pique nique indécent.

• Meiling (10/5): - This was the most comfortable stay I had during trip. Booked a suite, and the overall experience was truly great. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well maintained, and everything felt very comfortable and easy throughout our stay. There was a very minor issue with a small leak in the bathroom during rain, but it didn’t affect our overall experience at all. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, modern, and comfortable place to stay.

• Aloisa (9/5): Great place to stay if you’re hiking in El Chalten! - We recommend this Hosteria for everyone keen to hike and looking for a place to stay in El Chalten! The location was right off the Main Street, they had good tips about the hiking paths and a very nice restaurant with early (6:30am) breakfast so that you can start your hike early on. They also have a nice common area with a fireplace to chill after the hike. Little bit pricey and not all the reception staff was equally knowledgeable on hiking in the area. We had 2 reception staff members who helped out a lot and gave tips you would not find in the guidebooks, but another one who knew very little, while that info is key in that area

• Louisette (9/5): Zeer comfortabel hotel - De suites zijn nieuw en zeer comfortabel. De twee persoons kamers wat meer gedateerd. Luxe uitstraling. Goed ontbijt. Zeer goede tips voor hikes! Geen flexibiliteit bij uitchecken of enige empathie bij ziekte/voedselvergiftiging. Kregen na aandringen een plastic zakje om mee te nemen in de auto in geval van braken onderweg naar volgende lokatie.

The dinner was excellent - highly recommend and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Some previous comments mentioned that it was very expensive. Whilst it was on the high side we were very happy with our decision to stay and el puma. Nothing springs to mind

Grazie a loro abbiamo fatto il percorso migliore e ci siamo godute al meglio il Fitz Roy! Ci hanno anche fornito gratuitamente i bastoni da trekking, hanno un servizio di pranzo al sacco, e in generale la reception è aperta fino a tarda notte, quindi per qualsiasi cosa sono sempre a disposizione! La camera era grande, pulita, spaziosa, con tutto il necessario; molto apprezzata l'attenzione all'ambiente visto il pranzo al sacco fatto in materiali biodegradabili, le eco ricariche nel bagno, etc. La stanza era veramente tanto rumorosa, perciò non abbiamo riposato benissimo. Il meteo della Patagonia non è uno scherzo e il vento si abbatteva fortissimo contro le nostre finestre e pareti e si sentiva in maniera davvero eccessiva, idem per la pioggia. Portatevi dei tappi per me orecchie come si deve. La colazione l'ho trovata okay, poteva essere appena più variegata (ad esempio, con avocado e altra frutta, che abbiamo trovato invece in altri hotel). Consiglio un tostapane migliore perché ci voleva un po' troppo per fare un paio di fette di pane tostato :)

• Francesca (9/5): El Puma è stata una scelta perfetta per i nostri 4 giorni al Chalten; abbiamo potuto rilassarci e riposarci sentendoci c - Struttura molto ben curata e con un bellissimo giardino con lavanda e ciliegi. Stanza perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di trekking. Colazione buona e completa. I ragazzi alla reception sono gentili e disponibili. Il cambio salviette non giornaliero (forse però colpa nostra che non le abbiamo lasciate a terra). Un piccolo suggerimento: aggiungerei un bollitore e qualche bustina di the o caffè in camera, dato che il bar non è sempre disponibile

• Matthew (8/5): Great place, great location, nice staff. - really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are incredibly spacious, well kept, and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection, and the staff were outstanding. They went above and beyond to help me with a major issue I had, showing genuine care and professionalism. A big thank you to the team , I’d happily stay here again. I did have some issues with the booking process. I was initially told that I had requested a cancellation, which was later admitted to be a mistake. I was then advised that I could cancel and rebook, so I changed my plans accordingly. Unfortunately, when I tried to rebook for dates just one day different, this was refused and I was told I had to pay the full amount. This ended up costing me a considerable extra amount, and my follow-up messages about the earlier advice were largely ignored. It was disappointing and stressful, especially as the information I was given was inconsistent

It is more like a motel, the rooms are separated from the main reception and dining room. We felt that it lucks a welcome atmosphere. Breakfast was standard.

Bed was huge and ridiculously comfortable, loved the fact they gave you a free notepad and pencil with their logo. breakfast was fantastic, decor was stunning, place smelt unreal, great parking and location. Highly recommend! We didn't want to leave Nothing!

Las viandas o lunch boxes del hotel también las recomiendo, muy ricas. Eran días de verano y sentí mucho calor en el cuarto y la ventana era chiquitita. No es culpa del hotel la temperatura obvio pero sí siento que le faltó un poquito de ventilación.

However there was very limited flexibility with the check out time, which given our late check in was not really required. Specially because the hotel was empty. The hotel Team could have easily allowed us to stay a couple of extra hours. They wanted to charge us instead half a day……

Amb suc de taronja natural, que no es gaire habitual a la zona. Hem menjat molt be El servei es super-amable. Afany de servei i agradable, donant la informacio que els demanavem i molta mes. Definitivament un valor diferencial. Einmal war er zum Frühstück dünn wie Tee und am zweiten Tag gab es keinen. 8 Gäste zwischen 06.50 und 7.20 Uhr..... mehrfaches Nachfragen und wir wurden vertröstet bis wir es Aufgaben ohne Kaffee zum Frühstück. Preis zu hoch. Wir zahlten bei 3 Nächten je 240 Euro. Und zur Buchung über booking un US Dollar wurde der Wechselkurs um 8% schlechter gestellt als üblich. Jegliche Diskussion half nicht.
• jayna (9/5): Cozy and comfortable - Clean and cozy. Breakfast was good and they would make you eggs on request. Restaurant was decent for dinner if you feel like stating in. Room was slightly cold and they could not turn my heat up. They charged me a rate that was about 3% higher with the conversion from the quoted rate on Booking. It would also be nice if they had a tea coffee maker in the room or available in the lobby. They would make you a thermos of hot water at night but in the morning no coffee if you get up to go hiking before breakfast time. :(

• Roux (7/5): Muchos pros. Lamentamos haber ido fuera de temporada. - Muy espacioso, muy cómodo. La habitación siempre limpia y con mucha iluminación. Calefaccionada correctamente. Es un lugar que a pesar que llueva se puede pasar muy bien. El baño muy prolijo y con todo lo necesario. Nosotros elegimos mucho el lugar por las comodidades que decía en booking que tenía, ejemplo, gran desayuno, restaurante en el lugar cosas que por ser temporada baja no había o no como lo esperábamos. El desayuno era traernos fuera de la habitación mucho pan con café y leche para tomarlo adentro. No es una mala idea, pero nos pareció mal lograda y sin aviso previo de que esto iba a ser así. En el hotel no había personal permante, eso nos dimos cuenta cuando se nos presentó el problema de no tener agua caliente para bañarnos en la noche y al ir a buscar al personal no había nadie en recepción. Nos comunicamos por teléfono y a la media hora vino alguien y lo solucionó. Cuando nos fuimos nadie nos despidió.

• Allison (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our stay at El Puma. The rooms were super spacious with comfortable beds. We appreciated having a seating area both inside and outside, as well as a bathtub, to really relax after all the hiking. The packed lunches they provide (for a fee) are good with generous portions. There’s spaces for car parking and it’s an easy walk to all the restaurants, bars, and shops in El Chalten. Breakfast was great, with varied selection. We would highly recommend El Puma and would love to stay there again.
