- Brent (8/5): Great staff, clean and cozy! - Great location right by the casino and downtown area.

- D.A. (9/5): Lovely view, nice staff - The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The lobby was clean and the business centre was excellent. The room had a really nice view of the river. It was convenient that there were some wonderful dining options within walking distance. We also had a late, light supper from the bistro in the lobby, which was quite good. Nice that it was open late. I was concerned when I realized the hotel was located essentially at a casino complex but it is located far enough away that it wasn’t an issue. We didn’t use the pool or fitness room but they both looked very clean and well-kept. It was an unpleasant surprise to learn there was no complimentary breakfast. You had to purchase coffee and food from the Starbucks bistro in the lobby. While the bistro was a nice late supper option, it wasn’t nearly as convenient or efficient for breakfast, and it wasn’t open at all in the middle of the day, not even on the weekend. The room was adequate but not what I had booked online, and the wallpaper and fixtures were a little beaten up. The beds were much too soft for us but I’m sure they would be comfortable for most people.

- VimMcG (4/5): Noisy hotel - For a hotel constructed in the 21st century this property lacks basic sound isolation between floors and adjacent rooms that I’ve come to expect in a Marriott property. Our room was on the second floor away from the elevators hoping for a good nights sleep but every footstep of the occupants above sounded like a clumsy stomp dance studio and we listened to our neighbors TV programs late into the night. Additional sounds to round off our stay included the pitter padder of little feet running down the hallway around 2AM. If you chose to stay in this hotel I suggest you request a room on the top floor at the end of the corridor to minimize unwanted sound sources. Also disappointed that they failed to make up our room for our second nights stay. At close to $250/ night I should not have to request that the beds are made, trash cans emptied and towels changed.

- KitCasey16 (10/5): Repeated Business Stay - I often stay at this location for work in the Schenectady area and, more often than not, Azeem (sp?) in the manager on duty. I am always impressed with his friendliness, the fact that he remembers me, and does his best to ensure an upgrade as a gold member of Bonvoy. Thank you for ensuring a night away from home is welcoming.

- 3000calories (10/5): Good place to stay while on business - Feels like a newer property but one elevator was out of service. Didn’t matter, had no issues getting up and down. Room was clean and comfortable. Wish there was free breakfast or at least free coffee but the Starbucks / breakfast people are super nice. Parking is easy.
- Edward (6/5): It was convenient to the casino - Location The room smelled off BO
- James (10/5): Excellent desk clerk. Friendly, informative and helpful - Conveniently located
- dawn (7/5): Good - Clean Was noisy
- Russell (5/5): -
- Pamela (7/5): I would only stay here again if there were no other options. Requested a king room and received two queens and staff sai - Location Overpriced and room had an odd smell. Although the room was clean we had to have window opened all night to deal with smell. Maintenance sprayed carpet but it only helped for 15 minutes then smell returned
- RAYMOND (9/5): - location was awesome
- Mere57 (10/5): Very nice hotel in a great area. - The hotel was centrally located with many dining options with in walking distance or a short drive. The hotel itself was very clean, and lovely lobby area, and our room was very comfortable. My only complaints would be no convenience toiletries at the bathroom sink and while they have a bistro in the lobby ~ you can’t get coffee till 7am. AND the little in room coffee maker needs an upgrade! Coffee was horrendous! I will also say the front desk staff were very kind and helpful!
- Robin (10/5): - Comfortable beds and clean attractive setting.
- Patrick (10/5): - Jason and his staff at the Courtyard Marriott on Harborside Dr were exceptional! They accommodated us with our last second changes. Easy drive to Saratoga Springs. We highly recommend this hotel and thanks to Expedia for the assistance.
- Karen (8/5): - Easy off/on highway. Staff very friendly and helpful.
- Mike (8/5): - Very convenient
- Paul (2/5): - Towels worn out
No drinking water
- Robin (9/5): - Nice room, water view of the Mohawk River. Lovely
- Suresh (8/5): -
- Kathleen (10/5): - Very clean, nice customer service
- Tom (6/5): - Be aware that there is an active railroad line/crossing right next to the hotel and you'll hear train horns multiple times a night that will wake you out of a sound sleep. Other than that, the hotel is conveniently located near the casino and parking is easy
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -

- Ricky (10/5): We are very happy with our experience and looking forward to coming back again. -
- Martha (6/5): - My first time and I was not impressed! The hotel is very nice. The staff was very nice. For the price ...it's not a good value. Breakfast was 30.00, should be free!! No hot tub, water in pool was like ice.
- Evan (10/5): - Stayed here for a wedding. Super friendly and fast check in and out. The room was very nice and clean. Would absolutely stay again.
- Mario (8/5): - Clean
- Wawattie (8/5): - It’s a beautiful property
- Jasmina (10/5): - Very nice and clean hotel. Comfortable room and big restroom. Staff great. Definitely, will stay again.
- Shalanna (10/5): - …
- Sara (10/5): - The staff at this property are excellent! From check-in to check out, they were friendly willing to offer information and just all-around pleasant! This is our fourth New Year’s staying at this property and every time we do it’s a pleasure. The rooms are clean, well appointed and large enough to move around. The windows actually open a little for fresh air, which is very important to me we will be back again next year!
- Rob (6/5): - No coffee or free breakfast...never again
- Augustine (10/5): New Year's Eve - Fun time. Was at Rivers Casino.
Easy walk to Casino.
Nice Marriott.
- Alex (10/5): - Good property
- Deborah (6/5): Overpriced for zero attention to maintenance, comfort, or staffing. - The location is convenient for our needs and I like the gym. There is sometimes Starbucks coffee. Breakfast is pretty good, if you want to pay for it. We've been staying here every year for an annual family reunion, and every year, I feel like we've watched the quality degrade: mold growing in the showers, scratches accumulating on every surface, staff becoming more jaded and less helpful. On this visit, the receptionist who checked us in was so dry and unwelcoming it was almost comical. The espresso machine was broken, so the only coffee available was drip, and I had to wait quite a long time for it because the cafe is clearly understaffed. The rooms are small, the beds are hard and squeaky, the heat/AC is loud, you can hear your neighbors' TV at night, and the showers don't actually have DOORS so it's COLD standing in the shower even if you've got the hot water up all the way, and water drips out everywhere. The lobby is comfortable and inviting and the gym is OK, but that's not enough to make the price worth it.
- Neal (10/5): Exceptional - Cleanliness No complaints at all
- Tanya (7/5): Nice little place with great location - Location was nice well lit Found Swedish fish under the bed
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Clean room and friendly staff.
- Karyn (6/5): - Bathroom door didn't close. Room number was written on door frame in marker. Not exactly a top notch experience.
- Taoheed (8/5): Very good -
- Fausto (10/5): Perfect little vacation - It was in a nice area. We came for a wedding. Very nice location
- edward (2/5): - I booked a room on hotel.com for a work employee for three nights. I have done this in the past and had no issues.
The person did not check in until the day after his scheduled arrival date, the hotel cancelled his reservation without notifying me. I then had to pay for another room and scramble to find him another room for the next night as well.
not happy
- Michelle (4/5): - The bath mat had stains on it before using. The tub while showering would not drain so the water was over your feet while bathing. The remote for the tv didn’t work. Overall this was not what I expect from a marriott especially b because of all the money that we spent to stay thh he weekend . Very expensive.
- Marie (4/5): - Sheet did not fit on the bed. We could hear the tv in the next room. Room was cold all night. When I booked the room, it said that breakfast was included. Becky at the front desk said that it was not and expected me, the guest, to reach out to Expedia. I recently stayed at the Marriott in White Plains which had a fabulous buffet breakfast included. That was not the case in Schenectady. When you pay $300 for one night, that is ridiculous. Very disappointed.
- Tamesh (10/5): - Nice place
- michael (10/5): - Wonderful facility and staff. Enjoyed the stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything well done,easy
- Alexander (10/5): A great stay in Schenectady, near the Mohawk River - Great location with nice restaurants close by you can walk to for drinks and meals. Clean, quiet room. Restaurant in lobby was perfect for breakfast. Wonderful stay.
- Nathan (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - Nearby restaurants Na
- Ed (4/5): - Not great
- Ann (8/5): - My stay was very nice and quiet also very clean and fresh.
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional - It’s gotten expensive I wanted to stay one night this Sept 15 check out the 16 th and it was over 300.00 $ I think the final number was 360$ for one night ! We booked at the landing for a night for 250.00$ sorry Marriott ! I rather stay with Marriott then the landing but the landing had a cheaper rate ! We always stay at the Marriott we love this hotel!
- Brenda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gregg (10/5): - Great property in the Rivers Casino complex. Beautiful view of the Mohawk. The area is amazing
- 891kirrak (4/5): Ask Housekeeping for change of towels before you go out for the day! - We booked a Friday and Saturday night 8/16 & 8/16 $790.00 price is higher on weekend.
Room was clean, check in was pleasant. We went out Sat, came back to no change of towels and bed not made. It turns out they only do every house keeping every other day!
I called front desk and then asked for towels they brought 2 bath towels but no face cloths or hand towels. Not the kind of service I was expecting.
- John (10/5): We enjoyed our stay with friends. - Person who checked us in was very welcoming and the hotel was close to the marina where we parked our boat. N/A
- Adrienne (4/5): Disappointing -
- Lall (6/5): Stay was good - Breakfast choices were poor 24 hours cofee/tea
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Shout out to Henry snd Becca. These two did everything to make our stay pleasant.
- W4205CFvickim (2/5): Stay away. Bug infested - A horrible experience. I arrived at this location on Saturday June 22.
Walking to my room I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the halls and common areas. I got to the room. There was hair in the bathroom, The sink did not drain and overall the room was not very clean. As I was getting ready to go to sleep in my room I looked up and Is saw 25 to 50 fifty bugs on the ceiling. I called the desk and the associate came right up to address my issue and had to move my room.
We thoroughly inspected the second room and did not find anything that night. When I woke up , there was a tick or a spider on the ceiling directly above the bed. I took the bug to the desk. When I went to return to the room there was a huge bug on the Panel to the elevator which I showed to the front desk associate.
I have repeatedly (daily) asked for the manager to call me and 8 days later he has failed to do so. He sent me an email Wednesday, which did not address the issues. Corporate has also not responded
I am surprised to have had such issues at a Marriott property and to find the general manager so unresponsive.
I would recommend staying clear of this location.
- JoshNYC (10/5): Really nice staff! - I picked this property on a whim for a last-minute roadtrip overnight. And I'm really glad that I did. I stay a lot of nights at hotels, and the staff here were some of the friendliest I've ever experienced!
Special shoutout to Brittany, who couldn't have been sweeter while I was waiting for the lobby coffee to brew at 6am!
Mohawk Harbor is a little planned community, and has a really fun wine bar just down the block from the hotel with great food. The hotel also has a decent-looking lobby spot for dinner/drinks and breakfast. I also managed to buy some wine from the mini-mart at reception, which was surprisingly good too!
Clean room, firm bed, fast enough wifi, and the shower was hot. Bedding could have been a little more plush for the price, but I'll still book it again when I'm passing through.
- waterdance (10/5): Stardard courtyard near river and casino - Nice hotel near the waterfront. Service was good. The bed very comfy. Room service was every two days. Parking was free. They had an indoor pool with no towels and not heated. Two laundry rooms ~1.7.5 per dry per wash. They serve starbucks, breakfast, and lunch. Breakfast is not complementary and in fact pretty expensive. Breakfast burrito $11. Bowl of oatmeal $7. Free parking and I enjoyed my stay. 30 min walk to downtown. 6 min walk to river casino.
- Giovanni (4/5): - The gym was terrible, airconditioning very loud and blasted on bed, and staff was tough to respond to problem with business center printer.
- Deborah (9/5): Superb -
- Karyn (6/5): Bed hard, pillow too soft, clean, train going by at all hours, shower waters the floor. - Clean room. Being price-gouged. One year ago, the rate was around $250. A month ago the rate was over $500. The rate a week before was $370. You are overcharging and will remember this when booking next time, elsewhere!
- JEANNINE (8/5): - Good location and close to casino. Room is basic , small T.V , a/c loud, bathroom with low bathtub/ shower. There was no drinking cup, just paper cups for coffee. No breakfast/dining except Starbucks. Very disappointed for the price, we will not stay at that hotel in the future..
