- Thanh (10/5): Best stay ever. - Breakfast was amazing with many generous options to choose from. It was prepared with care and love and professionalism. The front desk was very helpful. I forgot my phone charger and panicking but this genteman at the front desk kindly let me borrow one that works. It'a walking distance to restaurants, starbucks and stores. The toilet did not have a bidet.

There is no fan in the bathroom so when we took a shower, the room got steamed up. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim. The refrigerator door was left ajar and it was not cold inside it. We will probably not stay here again.

- Navigate39617577780 (8/5): overnight stay - first time to this location marriott! i liked that they acknowledged me as a longtime member with loyalty and gifted me a goodie bag room is pretty spacious, parking lot ample, shower doesnt get boiling hot how i like it right away, but super comfy bed i wish they had late checkout for me and prioritize members with any kind of status! they did check me in much earlier which i liked but guess you cant win em all!

- Nathan (10/5): Great stay 15-20 min from SFO - Stayed in a queen one bedroom suite with our two dogs and father in law on the pull out couch. He managed, but the couch bed was super slouchy. Queen bed was very comfy, would have preferred a king bed option. Huge rooms and closet/drawer space. Lots of very decent breakfast foods included (for US standards, which are much worse than the rest of the world). Good location right next to shopping, near bay walking trails, and many restaurants. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Warm bedroom lighting was refreshing considering many US hotels are turning to insane asylum lighting.

The location is really great, convenient to the 101 and all East Side Freeways, too, right across the bridge (FYI - can be a $4-$7 toll to come back over the bridge!) Will stay again, I'm sure. AC controls in the room were finicky to get right, but not noisy. Bathroom lighting could be brighter, too, but definitely NOT a deal breaker! Overall, 9.5/10!

- Verified traveler (6/5): Lovely hotel but no sound barrier - Room was clean and well maintained. The kitchen area was well stocked and the function of the room was excellent. However, both nights were disturbed by fire alarms requiring evacuation due to people cooking and setting off the alarm. Additionally, the walls are paper thin and i was awakened one time by my neighbors being intimate and another time by neighbors fighting.

- AlohaJTravels (10/5): Super location, great rooms with lots of space - Excellent location, friendly staff and spacious suite. Traveled with family - 1 of whom uses a walker/wheelchair and needs handicap access, and this hotel was great. The location was awesome - close to stores and restaurants galore! The room was comfortable - we stayed in the 2-bedroom/2-bath suite and it was very comfortable. The bed was a bit high, but comfortable and the bathroom was roomy and had good water pressure. I'd recommend staying here - especially if you need a bit more space.

- Frank (6/5): - I prepaid in full to Expedia on June 12 $402.72 for 2 nights. After the stay TownePlace Suites charged my credit card additional $256, $98, and $1, without explanation or statement. This is a gross discrepancy from Expedia advertised price. I have disputed the chages.

- Baldev (10/5): FAMILY TRIP TO THE BAY AREA - Traveled with Family to the bay area, decided to stay in a 2 queen room. The staff was very friendly about everything, they even gave us a room on their highest floor-5th floor-had a good view. The 2 queen bed suite was clean, had everything you can use with kids, dishes, utensils, microwave, large fridge would make for a great stay for a week long trip. Only downside was the pillows in the room because they were old and the covers were on the pillows were on the yellow side instead of it being white. I would toss the pillows and the covers and get some new ones. Breakfast was top class as well.

- Steven (10/5): Had a completely lovely time at the TownePlace Suites Marriott San Mateo Foster City. - The room was spacious and beautiful. We loved having a living space - mainly a nice size refrigerator. Nice to know I could've prepared food, if we wanted. Spacious bathroom, bed - lovely having nightstands for each side with THREE drawers. Enough space in closet and drawers, if needed. (We only stayed one night.) I especially appreciated the vanity area and having a full length mirror and two other mirrors, (vanity and bathroom). I told my husband I would stay here any other time we were in the area. GREAT breakfast! I didn't like that the bathroom was only a 3/4 - no bathtub. The fact that the refrigerator "greeted" us, as we opened the door, but understand that was probably architecturally the best way to get the best use of space with providing a kitchen.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Won't return - Despite being one of the newer hotels on the mid-peninsula, this hotel already needs some updates, mostly in the bathroom. Rusting mirror and grunge in the grout around the tub means this hotel has been used a lot! For this reason, we won't choose this hotel again, especially when newer, better-condition hotels are nearby.
