• Brian (10/5): Excellent hotel - Beautiful hotel, freshly renovated to a high quality. Exquisite dining/cafe/bar area on Level 15 including garden seating. Sizeable bedrooms. Ideal location for transport but some minor train sounds if you are a very light sleeper.
• Siri (10/5): One of the best! - Everything especially its ideal location for those who prefer to be close to everything - shopping mall like Takashimaya has all I need and you ll also find a plenty of restaurants choice down there. Highly recommended.
• Pauline (9/5): Un séjour très agréable dans un hôtel de grand confort. - Hôtel très bien situé en plein cœur du grand centre commercial à côté de la gare. Chambre très agréable avec des équipements de qualité : literie, salle de bains,… mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner buffet avec énormément de choix notamment pour les spécialités japonaises. Le fait de ne pas pouvoir ouvrir la fenêtre pour aérer un peu même si l’étage est élevé il existe un système pour entrouvre que nous avons eu dans d’autres hôtels.

• Angeline (9/5): Everything can be found in and around the hotel, totally accessible to and from other cities. - It was super clean & service was top marks. Staff were smiley, very service-oriented and tried to answer our queries. I love the breakfast venue with a huge section overlooking greenery- a beautiful urban garden. Nagoya is less crowded. Nothing! 😁

• Albinus (7/5): - Centrally located. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Shower over bath hard to get in and out of by anyone not steady on their feet, no grab rail very slippery. Bed is very small, more like a double than a queen. Mattress wasn't great kept rolling towards middle. Photos when booking show the rail station as the view. This is what we paid for and requested. However it seems that other hotel (not this one) os the only one with the view.

• Dony (10/5): Felt like Luxury - Nagoya JR Gate Tower Hotel provided an exceptional experience, boasting a prime location in the heart of JR Nagoya. The accommodations and service exuded a sense of luxury, with daily room cleaning and impeccable service contributing to a truly remarkable stay. There were many shops and restaurants within the same building, making our lives easier. The rooms were small, but it was understandable for the area.

• yoooooooyoy (9/5): - 名古屋駅真上という最高のロケーション。フロントから新幹線の乗り場まで10分程度しかかからないのはあまりにも便利です。もちろん周辺施設も充実しており、フロントと同じ15階にコンビニ、その少し下の階にレストランフロアがあります。朝食バイキングのメニューも豊富で大満足です。 宿泊費こそやや張るものの、レストランフロアの割引券をいただけるなど周辺サービスも充実しています。 朝食が6:30からです。自分の場合7時の電車に乗る必要があったので、15分くらいしか楽しめませんでした。 また、大浴場の類は無いので、各部屋の3点ユニットバスを使うことになります。

• Corey (8/5): Great location and comfy but smaller rooms as is typical in Japan - Great location and comfortable but small basic rooms. Keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. Couldn't get into a restaurant or buffet and couldn't figure out why.
• Wai Hung Philip (10/5): A very pleasant stay overall! - Excellent location — just a few minutes’ walk from Nagoya Main Station, with plenty of shops and restaurants conveniently located around the hotel. The room facilities were great, and everything was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. We especially loved the bedding, which was extremely comfortable and gave us a very pleasant and restful sleep. No breakfast was included in our room rate.

(9/5): High quality hotel right above the station, super convenient. - The hotel is attached to the train station, so it's about as convenient as you can get if you need to be on a shinkansen early in the morning. There's plenty of signs so it's easy to find. It also starts at the 15th floor, so any room you get is going to have a great view of the city. The room was quite spacious considering it's in the heart of the city, plenty of space to unpack and repack your bags. The bathroom had a full size bath even a westerner could stretch out in. The bed was super comfy (especially after sleeping on some very thin futons for a few nights). There was a pod coffee machine in the room as well - very much appreciated if you can't function in the morning before you have coffee (like me). The staff were friendly and polite, didn't really interact with them after checking in though. Check out we just dropped our key cards in a box. Didn't get the breakfast as we were meeting a friend, but there's a starbucks with a fantastic view on the same floor as the hotel lobby. Pricier than most hotels we stayed in during our trip, but you get what you pay for. Quality and convenience was worth it. It's a minor gripe really, but the hotel entrance is on the opposite side of the station to the shinkansen tracks, so the walk is still considerable if you've got a lot of luggage.

Staff at hotel reception were professional and prompt, and spoke good English. Only snag was that the room was slightly dusty and we both woke in the middle of the night feeling itchy.

The Hotel is connected to Nagoya Station and I appreciated the convenience to the departmental stores, konbinis and other useful facilities. The Hotel room was comfortable and spacious for me as a solo traveller with amenities provided.

• Mariana (7/5): Great option at the right price. - The room was super small. This is common for Japan of course, but we paid $750/night and so we expected a larger room at that price. Breakfast was also very basic. Train kids will be thrilled- you look over the train tracks! My son loved that immensely! Room size and breakfast options. Beds and sheets not that comfortable. We were there during a very busy weekend and so we simply overpaid for the product. That's it. It's absolutely perfect at the right price and if you don't have much luggage.

Mahtava sijainti kun tulimme lentokentältä ja jatkoimme parin päivän jälkeen Shinkansenilla eteenpäin kohti Tokiota. Huone oli aika pieni. Hotellin vastaanotto 15. kerroksessa ei ollut ihan helppo löytää.
• Drusilla (9/5): Convenient location, clean and good sized room - The location is really good. Convenient for trains, shopping, restaurants. Although we are beside the train track, it’s not considered noisy, more like white noise to me. Size of the room is considered not bad for Japan standard. Our room was located very far off from the lift. Had to walk really deep.
