- Atsuko Kikuchi (5/5): - The location There are still medicine wrappers left behind beside the bed.then back of the water dispenser was soo dusty it was look like they didn't use vacuum cleanering on the floor.
- Paul (9/5): need a 2am red eye flight crash den. this is your joint complimentary condoms and spank lube. - it was a sexy joint peep show booth reception
- SEUNGYUL (5/5): Bad hotel -

- Poh Kam (10/5): - Big room (by Japanese standard), nice sauna bath-tub and good amenties, plus convenient location at a reasonable price. While the hotel is for adults only, the added discreteness of the reception actually means more provacy.
- Chengkai (10/5): - very nice staff~

- Jennifer (10/5): - Our third hotel during our stay in Japan and this was our favorite one, saved the best for last. First of all, so thankful for their amazing staff! They were able to store some of our luggages for two nights as we would be away to Osaka, even if we weren’t checked in as guests yet. When we came back for check in, our luggages was already in our room and one of the staff was nice enough to guide us to our room. All of the staff we met there were so kind and welcoming, most spoke English too. The room was so big, clean and spacious! This room literally had everything especially their toiletries, had a sauna, tv in the shower/bath tub, mood lights, adjustable lighting, karaoke, housekeeping daily and more. On our last day, our flight was not until evening and they were able to store our luggages again while we walked around Shinjuku. We enjoyed our stay and had a great experience. Would definitely book again.
- Ding (8/5): - It is my mistake that i accidentally booked a 'love hotel' which I didn't mean to. It was an interesting experience. The room was spacious for Tokyo standard, clean with good amenities but this place is more for couples using it by hours, and it may not be the most suitable for international travellers.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Shinjuku Hotel - This is a "love hotel" while it is pretty big space wise for Tokyo the bed is not very comfortable as I do not believe the purpose is for sleeping. Anyway it is nice and secure the staff is very nice and helpful. The bathroom and shower facilities are great and everything was very clean. If you are looking for something budget friendly give this place a try.
- Stephane (10/5): - Wonderful stay at the love hotel. Enjoyed the lighting and decor.
- Yuri (8/5): Very good - Good location and price for one night
- Avraham (10/5): - We really enjoyed the room
- Bruno (7/5): Good -
(4/5): Disappointing -
- Jason (8/5): Very good -
- Cindy (5/5): Good budget stay - Convenient location Didn’t feel very clean, the bathroom had shower leakage issues no matter what I did or angled the shower head the water would leak into the floor below and there was a notice if there is any shower damage or flooding a $100 fee will incur even though it’s not the customers fault.
- Prefol (5/5): It's a place for sexual intercourses and you can't miss it...they don't really care about your stay. - Great location in the center of Shinjuku (kabukicho).
The room was clean and we slept well.
There is a complementary soda and water dispenser in the lobby (but, as often in Japan, no garbage bin for the cups).
For only one night it was ok, we were back from Shikoku island and after more than 5h in trains, we needed a shower and a bed so it did the job but we were not feeling comfortable.
The room was big enough. Cannabis smell in the room and all the floor, almost unbearable.
No contact with the people at the reception, they reminded us multiple times about the check-out time and they trade a key for a card when you want to go out and the opposite when you are back in. No English spoken but no particular effort the make the conversation easier...
Watch out for the different offers with late check-in or no. Ours was from 9:00pm to midnight and the check-out was at 10:00am.
- Julian (8/5): Great location, great room, bad check out time - Great Location, the room was big and the bathroom even bigger. Check in time is crazy (9pm) and you have to wait until 9pm sharp.
- Myriam (8/5): - On a voulu tester un love hôtel, c’était rigolo
- Dale (10/5): Exceptional - Bathroom was very very large, and elegantly decorated. Offers room service, but this was not used. Tv is large and had a large selection of movies.
Stayed in the “club” themed room. Lighting was nice, mood appropriate, and all lighting was adjustable. Fridge and microwave supplied

Staff, cleanness, nearby and overall great even a bit small but the amenities are all available as much as you can think about!
- Nur-e-elahi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dylan (10/5): - The room was massive, very stylish and a lot of fun! Significant bonus points for the large jacuzzi with mood lights! I hope to book through this hotel again next year, if they'll have me again!
- Thomas (7/5): Good -

- Verified traveler (8/5): - I think it’s good stay experience here, very kind clerks that actively help me with putting my luggages! When I went to this hotel, i was wet due to raining outside, the clerk proactively gave me towels and umbrella for free! Really nice and kind! I would suggest that you can stay this hotel yourself or with your friends! although it’s a motel and only for adults but the experience was good for me! Big room and nice clerk, own bath area, really good!
- Gideon (1/5): Bad -
- Raymond (8/5): Wonderful hotel! - Located at the heart of Kabukicho,
Nearest subway at Shinjuku Sanchome which is about 10 mins walk.
Room is spacious relative to a lot of hotels around Shinjuku.
Love the ambience and lighting.
Service staff are polite and the manager is able to converse in English.
Would love to stay again in my next visit!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room was very small, pretty sure this was a love hotel in the past as the spa/shower was almost as big as the bedroom.
- Cameron (10/5): Great experience - It is a love hotel, but was the most well appointed room I stayed in on my two week, four city trip to Japan. For the price and the experience of staying in Kabukicho I very much recommend it.
Only negative is my bedding smelled a bit smokey.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice big room with a large TV and vod. Spa and steam sauna and karaoke machine. This is our second stay here and we love. Make no mistake this is a love hotel and as such can be rented on an hourly basis. We stayed for a week this time, you don't get the same amount of amenities any where else in the same price range.
- Lina (10/5): Big rooms and private sauna - We had no idea what the meaning of adult hotel meant when we booked this hotel. We were happily surprised though when we arrived to the hotel room, having our own sauna, bubble bath, tv in the bathroom, spacious room and a tv with a great selections of movies (Not just R-rated).
The room was very clean and the staff super nice and helpful. The hotel is in the busy district Shinjuku that offers you food, party and shopping just outside the door.
I would recommend this place for everyone who would like to put an extra goldline to their visit.
- EDGAR (10/5): Best hotel I have been. - It was a perfect stay the staff were very wellcoming and polite and my room was left spotless clean every day, The room is espacious and luxurious, has a huge bath with sauna and big TV with karaoke, is very quiet I could not hear any noises from neighbours or the road and has 24 hour service to the room the only thing missing is a closet but I travel light so it was not an issue for me
- Aaron (8/5): - It's a love hotel so a little different but nice rooms and clean, no reason not great for travelers like me. Close to Golden Gai which is great.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great room with spa and VOD! Very quiet.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Really great big room in comparison to other hotels in Tokyo. Good location, staff friendly
- Lauren (10/5): Big room - Great facilities; big TV, jacuzzi bath, kettle, microwave and some freebies. Much bigger room than for a similar price a few streets away. Very quiet in the hotel.
- JAMES (6/5): Right in the heart of Shinjuku - Although we booked it because it was an ‘adult’ only hotel, it is clearly aimed at adult activities, not because they don’t allow children. It wasn’t clear that it is a hotel where most of the guests pay for rooms by the hour, not day.
However our stay was pleasant and the room we had was very clean and had all amenities you’d expect (plus extras!).
- Azize (10/5): Harika - Tek kelimeyle mükemmel
- Helmut (4/5): Tokyo - Tokyo, I wanted to stay close to the gay area and I felt like for the amount I Paid for I should have received a much better hotel. It was rated 4 stars, my personal openion it was at best a 2 star hotel, super small rooms small bed uncomfortable and a total turn off turning in the room key each time you leave the hotel
- Phil (10/5): - A perfect location, in the Shinjuku district. Plenty of night life outside the door, ten minutes walk to Shinjuku Station. A love hotel, but great quiet rooms, no busy lobby, no kids. Not for a family trip, but great for couples. Lots of personal amenities.
- S (2/5): - Gross and dirty, bed was hard and the place felt bad and smelt of cigarettes all the time. I found blood on the floor and in the handbasin. Stayed as a bit of a laugh, would never again!
- Helen (10/5): Fun comfortable good value hotel - At check in we were handed our room key and advised that there were complimentary chopsticks and sake in the room. The room is more spacious than most hotel rooms in Japan, it is sound-proofed, luxurious and very comfortable. It is very good value for money. We had a lot of fun with the karaoke machine and two microphones. We enjoyed the separated jacuzzi and the ability to make it a steam room, and we put on the colourful lights on the jacuzzi. The Shinjuku area is an entertainment district. We walked to and from Shinjuku-Sanchome metro / subway which is not the closest metro station (but still close) because we arrived Tokyo Station on a Shinkansen bullet train, took the Marunouchi metro line 8 or 9 stops to Shinjuku Sanchome station. Using Shinjuku Sanchome station meant we did not need to change metro/subway lines.
Some reviewers have complained here that they did not realise this was a Love Hotel. Did they not read the description of it properly prior to booking? Did they not read reviews?
We booked knowing this is a Love Hotel, and chose it for a whole quirky “Japan” experience, and for a bit of fun karaoke in comfort of our own room, and a dash of luxury on our final night in Japan. When we checked out, we left our luggage and walked around Shinjuku for a little while, before returning to collect our bags.
Wifi was very good too.
- Faye (10/5): Spacious, clean, and plenty of amenities! - We had an excellent stay here. The room is spacious, comfortable an has plenty of amenities.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Large rooms with spas in the party end of Tokyo . - The largest rooms for the price in Tokyo. Since Japan has whole families in tiny apartments they have these Love Hotels for some privacy. Very classy and stylish with huge beds, a spa/sauna with tv, a kareoke machine, and tasteful adult movie options or New Releases for free.
Room service is reasonably priced. Everything is waliking distance or a short subway trip away.
- NUR HUSSIEN (10/5): Amazing Experience! - My very first Love hotel stay and it was by far the best stay ever compared to all the hotels I've stayed in Japan!! The room is huge! The amenities in the room is overflowing and you could even ask for a better quality items to be sent to your room on loan. Whatever you need they have it. Location wise it's very happening and near a train station. Would love to come back again in the future and check out their other hotels under JHT group.
- Norby (10/5): Excellent Hotel, "adults only" is no problem - OK, yes this is a no-tell motel for the locals. But just get over that idea and it's a really remarkable hotel for a great price in a good location. When I checked in (at the notoriously frosted glass teller's window) and the staff realized that I was a real American tourist actually staying at the hotel, they all came out to great me enthusiastically.
The rooms are excellently appointed, the bed was typically Japanese harder than normal, but still quite comfortable. There is a separate seating area couch and table and a kareoke machine. The amenities overflowed (creams, shampoos, etc. and also a good bottle of saki to welcome you). The room had a large TV and a great sound system which you could play music. The lighting was pre-programed for many different moods.
But what makes this win hand's down is the bathroom. A huge tub with a spa feature, a television for the Spa and this room also served as a shower area and a steam room (there was a separate room for the kimode with all of the necessary Japanese toilet "features"). After a long day of walking 10's of kilometers, relaxing in the spa/steam room and watching sports on TV was fantastic.
The only thing that's weird is that there is no closet and only two small doors to store your clothes. There are two hooks with bathrobes and hangers. Obviously, it wasn't designed with the idea that you might stay for more than 3 hrs,
This is an excellent hotel for a solo traveler or for couples.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Convenient and nice hotel - We booked this hotel for location that close to Shinjuku Kabukicho and bed choice of Queen bed (other places are Twin or Full) even it said Love Hotel. So, we originally expect a iffy hotel with lots noises. Turn out it was surprisingly nice and clean with no noise (sound proof) hotel. All staffs are friendly and have 1-2 staffs speaking English (so useful!) and provided us with a free bottle of champagne and 2 free bottles of water. Inside have a good sofa with coffee table and spaces are spacious comparing to Japan standard hotels. Lots of amenities from regular hotel stuffs and lots perks such as face mask, bubble bath, hair spray/gel, even samples like toner/lotion. It was only 3 min to Samurai museum, 5 min to famous Robot Restaurant, 6 min to see Godzilla head and close by King Kong, 10 min to Shinjuku station and 8 min to Shinjuku-sanchome Station and of courses lots restaurants, shopping and bars. For us from US and lack of japanese speaking, it is very convenient hotel to walk around. They also provided us free luggages storage services after our check out so we could go Imperial Palace without our international big size luggages. It was really hard to find lockers to store big luggages from Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka areas. They also have karaoke machine, small bar, fridge, sauna and jacuzzi but we didn't use any since busy sightseeing outside. They don't provide breakfast but you can find lots family mart or 7-11 to get some. Will come back if visiting Tokyo.
- Logan (8/5): Nice stay - This hotel was very stylish and we had a great staff member who helped us out while we were there who spoke excellent english. The in-room sauna and jaccuzi was wonderful! It was hard to find though--google map couldn't find it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice room nice service
- Naomi (2/5): No Tell ... Motel!!! - Ok, I booked this hotel because the it was middle of the road price. Unlike the $700-$1,000 per night western hotel chains. It said Adults only, and i was thinking great, then kids wouldn't be running up and down the halls. Turns out this is one of those hotels where you and a "friend " could be free to get your super freak on in a sound proof room with free porn..... not judging,,to each his own. Just not what we were expecting. needless to say, the bottle of febreeze type spray beside the bed, just screamed yucky.
- Sharon (10/5): Excellent stay - This is a great place to stay. Room size was big for Japanese standards, very comfortable bed and lots of free toiletries. Staff spoke good English and was very welcoming on arrival, and provided us with a free bottle of champagne. Everything was super clean, appears brand new. We couldn't fault the place. Would definitely recommend.
- Mathew (8/5): Not what foreigners might be expecting - This is very much a hotel designed to be booked by the hour for couples to enjoy some alone time. I was trying to stay near some friends in Shinjuku for about 8 days and it was one of the only places that had rooms available online. The staff were lovely and tried to do what they could to make it feel like an actual hotel that foreigners might be used too. Culture shock.
- Rudy (8/5): Great hotel if you overcome its quirks - Most of my friends and colleagues are still shocked I stayed at a Japanese love hotel. I must say that it is a viable alternative if one overcomes its inherent quirks. First, one never sees the receptionist face to face. Think of a bank teller counter, except the glass partition is opaque. So all you ever see is the hand that gives you the room key. Speaking of the room key, whenever you leave the hotel, you must return it to front desk. When you come back, you ask for the key back, even if you are gone for a 10 minute 7-11 run. The room, hallway and elevator all reeked of cigarette odor. Be forewarned. Now the pluses. The room is huge by Japanese standards and comes with every amenities you will need. It even had a karaoke machine! All the VOD movies are free. Place is located in the middle of Kabukicho and less than a 10 minute walk to Shinjuku Station.
