Family owned it contains lots of interesting items. The hosts and staff couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming and made us feel very much at home. An excellent breakfast. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries and toast with butter and jam. Tea, coffee and milk. Eggs and cakes were also available. There was a very comfortable area where we were able to sit and relax at any time of the day. Exceptional. Nothing

• Sherwood (10/5): - Our trip in April 2026 took us to quite a few places in Tuscany, and this was one of the most pleasant surprises. It's filled with beautiful artwork, very tastefully decorated, in a building beautifully preserved from the 18th century. The atmosphere it creates is remarkable. The hosts, Duccio and Cincia, were a pleasure to meet and chat with the 2 days we were there. The breakfast was excellent, prepared with great care. It would be impossible for me to overstate how much we enjoyed our stay here. There was nothing we didn't like.

The rooms were spacious and had very comfortable beds too. Breakfast was special too, because you can order what you like. They also keep a mini fridge, coffee maker & kettle and flatware for your use in the lobby as well. Will definitely be staying here again. The wifi wasn't strong enough for me to get all the work done that I needed to, but I found that to be a common theme in most hotels in Siena.

Cani ammessi senza problemi. Possibilità di invitare amici in struttura nella sala comune e di farsi tisane o tè in tutto relax con atmosfera soft. Posizione particolarmente favorevole a 2 minuti a piedi dalla piazza principale di Siena dove si trova il palazzo del Governo.

• Jose (10/5): Magnífico alojamiento para disfrutar Siena y sus principales atractivos - A mi esposa a mi nos encantó la decoración de muy buen gusto de la Dimora dei Monaci. Reservamos la habitación de lujo. muy amplia y con una vista preciosa a la campiña sienesa. A solo unos minutos a pie de la Piazza del Campo y de la catedral y con excelentes lugares para comer a solo unos pasos. Todo esto nos permitió disfrutar al máximo nuestra estancia en Siena. Pero sin duda lo que más apreciamos fue la atención de nuestros anfitriones Duccio y Cinzia quienes en todo momento nos hicieron sentir en casa. Los desayunos preparados por Cinzia fueron abundantes y deliciosos, con todo lo que uno puede pedir. Incluso nos ayudarnon a reservar el taxi que nos llevó a la estación de autobuses para nuestro regreso. Estuvimos felices. Muchas gracias! Todo estuvo de maravilla

• Jacqueline (10/5): Wonderfully atmospheric stay in Siena! - We loved how real the building felt … it was like staying in a friend’s family home rather than a hotel. Also the staff was particularly lovely and helpful! Nothing. A word of advice: Do be aware of the limited parking and plan ahead carefully!

Room good size very comfortable with large window overlooking countryside. Very good home cooked breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay.

• Margaret (10/5): Great hosts and great location and walkability - Cinzia & Duccio were wonderful, friendly, accommodating hosts. Duccio met us for our checkin and arranged a parking permit so we could unload our luggage and showed us where we could free park - about a 10 minute walk away. Communication was very efficient. The building is in a great location and is a gorgeous old tuscan home furnished with original style although the bathroom has been well renovated. Tuscan views were lovely. Breakfast was very good. There is a separate, shared sitting area with tea, coffee pods/ machine and electric kettle plus a shared bar fridge. I believe renovations are continuing which will include an elevator - there are stairs at the moment but Duccio was happy to help with luggage. There are several rooms available and I think each room must be slightly different as I had read some reviews about large showers however ours was quite small.

• Hanka (10/5): Bydlení jako na zámku - Kouzelné ubytování v centru Sieny. Kromě pokoje máte k dispozici posezení ve společných prostorách, kde to vypadá jako na zámku. Rano se tam podává výborná snídaně. Byli jsme moc spokojení. Ubytování nemá parking, ale vyřídí vám vjezd do města až k hotelu, takže můžete vyložit zavazadla a jet na doporučené veřejné parkoviště. Najít volné místo nebylo snadné, ale za to pochopitelně hotel nemůže.

• Tatiana (9/5): Great little boutique B&B with atmosphere and very attentive hosts. Highly recomend. - We been staying at the property 3 days over Palio celebration. Location - can't be better, in the middle of everything, 5 min walk to Piazza di Campo and Duomo. And we can return home easily to have a rest during the day to recharge for evening activities. Area is with limited traffic access, but our host have organised us permission to enter the area to get to hotel door, helped to unload luggage and took our car to the parking, arranged for us. Both Duchio and Cintia were wonderful, gave us lot's of information and explanations about Palio. organise Airconditioning unit which kept our room cool in +38 degree heat. Property itself is in the antic building and full of period features. If we ever get back to Siena, we will not be looking for another accommodation. Can't think of much. For me, bed was a bit too hard, but it is a matter of taste and I like soft bed. Everything else was very good.

Décor précieux avec un superbe plafond et lustre. Salle de bain agréable. Très calme. Très joli espace pour le petit déjeuner. Petit déjeuner à la carte. La localisation est parfaite, très proche de la piazza del Campo. Propriétaires aux petits soins. Les produits de toilette sont un peu spartiate. Personnellement j ai trouvé le lit trop ferme.

• Selwyn (10/5): - A wonderful overnight stay at this historical and traditional building, close to the heart of Siena. Very quiet, with a wonderful view over the Tuscan countryside from our room...coffee-making facilities and a fridge with cold water (essential in this current heatwave)...a good choice of breakfast options, all served by Valentina, who was the perfect host. She took time to chat with us about the traditions of Siena, and could not have been more helpful...we hope to return one day soon.

• Matt (9/5): Wonderful location and hosts with beautiful views. - Cinzia and Duccio couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. They really wanted us to enjoy our stay at their accommodation and the area. The accommodation is in a very good location for access to everything, including access to a laundrymat only 100 metres away. Really liked the room, with a nice view out of the large windows. Just be aware that you are staying in shared accommodation i.e. there are multiple rooms coming off the hallway. So you need to be quiet coming and going at night, and hopefully the other guests are as well. Wasn't a problem for us but could be for some.
• Paul (10/5): An excellent place to stay if you can mind the stairs. The staff was exceptional - The room was spacious with an unbelievable shower. We had a view of the old city wall and surrounding countryside. The breakfast was amazing even making omelets for breakfast. The refrigerator was full of all sorts of drinks and the host even provided us with a bottle of wine. The location was amazing and provided easy access to all the attractions. While there were many flights of stairs, the hosts managed our suitcases for us which was a major relief. Coming soon an elevator is being constructed which will remove the discomfort of the stairs. The only thing I can think of are the stairs but we managed.
• Ariane (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, close to everything and quiet. The view was incredible: the window faces a little valley with lots of trees and birds. You can see far into the Tuscan countryside and in the morning, you wake up with the songs of birds. The breakfast is great with lots of options. The room was spacious, clean with lots of storage space. The bathroom is also big with a large shower, which is a rare thing in Italy. The B&B is located on the first floor, so we had very few stairs to climb. The interior is also gorgeous with lots of vintage furniture. The owner, Duccio, is exceptionally kind and generous. He was very helpful on the day of our departure. We stayed 4 nights but we wished we had stayed longer. If we ever come back to Siena, we will definitely come here again.

The apartment is perfectly located close to all the attractions but looks out over a large green space and the surrounding countryside so you forget that you are in a busy city. The entire apartment is beautifully decorated with ornate and original furnishings and artwork. The lounge area was the perfect spot to wait out the deluge on our first afternoon in Siena. Our room was very comfortable with wonderful views. Cinzia and Duccio were such welcoming and helpful hosts, making our stay memorable. They assisted with a dinner reservation and finding our bus stop going on to Rome. It was perfect.
