- caroline (10/5): Great stay - We had a lovely stay here. Excellent lunch , Dinner and breakfast the following morning. The wine was lovely - good choice of beers too.
We were looked after very well by all the staff , nothing was too much trouble.
Our twin room was huge , as was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable.
Tea and coffee making facilities in the room with a whole caddy full of teabags and biscuits are a lovely bonus. Nothing
- Cheryl (9/5): Pleasant stay and comfy room. - The pub below is lovely and the room was big, clean and comfy. Can’t think of anything except maybe the country western music playing all the time during meals. Even breakfast!
- Jan (10/5): Will definitely go back ! - Good location plenty of parking spaces !
Lovely room, lovely staff, excellent food
Would highly recommend.

- John (10/5): Couldn't have wanted for more. - Lovely place, very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast included and the meals available offered a very good choice at very reasonable prices. Also having electric car charging points was a bonus.
- julie (10/5): Very cosy - Very central
- Caisleigh (10/5): Perfect location, couple of faults but amazing staff! - Beautiful building with a great location close by to plenty of places to eat. The staff went out of their way to meet all my requests and were exceptional. Very polite and offered great service. Easy check in and our room was equipped with everything we needed- plenty of towels and tea tray items even offering oat milk in the room! We stayed for 1 night to go on holiday, very close by to the airport and perfect location. Breakfast was very good and fresh but would have liked more of a selection. The bed was a little bit hard but still had a very good sleep. The shower had a leak and sprayed out a little however we had a laugh about this and did not ruin our stay!
- Duncan (9/5): really enjoyed our stay even with the problem with the heating - superb hotel staff and food excellent they was having trouble with the heating .So for 2 nights the room was cold ,so they upgraded us to a suit.really enjyed

- Joanna (9/5): - We met family for breakfast. Ordering was a little difficult as we had a different menu. Service was slow and a little rude tbh. When it arrived, and it was a while, the food was ok. The location was excellent for our visit with family and the room was clean and well equipped. We will stay again.
- Denise (9/5): - Friendly, warm welcome. Had lunch, which was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

- Gary (8/5): Can’t beat the price with breakfast included good location if you have a car - Liked that it had a separate door to the hotel from the pub also breakfast was lovely we really enjoyed it Booked in the evening meals 5:30 not overly busy but took over an hour and 20min for food and was only given a heads up after 50mins that there’s delays we canceled our next meal for the second night due to this
- Cécile (8/5): Confortable, personnel agréable, superbe petit déjeuner. - Confortable, personnel agréable, superbe petit déjeuner. Attention le restaurant ferme à 21h, le bar reste lui ouvert jusqu’à 1h
- Ruth (9/5): A very comfortable and perfect place to stay! - A fantastic stay at this Inn. Every little detail was thought of, even down to the variety of tea/coffee available in the room and the fresh towels on the second day. The food in the restaurant is highly recommended. Our room was exceptional in every way, except for the draught from the ill-fitting top window. However, the wind during our stay was particularly strong and we managed to shut it out by 'tucking in the curtains'!
- Andrew (10/5): Highly recommend - Excellent accommodation great location Nothing to dislike
- Martin (9/5): Ein Besuch wert - Super freundlich und sauber. Sehr gerne wieder. Offensichtlich kocht man hauptsächlich mit der Friteuse...
- Carol (10/5): Welcoming friendly and comfortable - Welcoming clean comfortable and staff so friendly and helpful
- Tracey Maxine (10/5): A Perfect Stay. - I can not praise this place enough. The staff were really friendly ,informative , welcoming., and helpful The room was spacious ,comfortable, and clean .We were visiting to be near Cheddar Gorge which was only 15 minutes away by car. An added bonus was the Thatchers Cider Mill was only 6 minutes away by car and had an excellent shop. The Inn was right in the centre of the Winscombe village which is a lovely lively Somerset village. There was also plenty of convenient stores near by for the traveller to stock up. Parking was easy and on site. To top it all the included full English breakfast was the best I have had for years and I am a chef. There was also other options on the guest breakfast menu that I would have loved to have tried if I had stayed longer. This excellent ,well run place was a really enjoyable and restful place to stay and really good value for money. We strongly recommend and hope to visit again in the not too distant future. Nothing

- 6723bf55f64673755f75993d5cc8ecbe (9/5): Very enjoyable with extremely helpful staff. - We had a family reunion whilst staying at the Woodborough and the staff were especially helpful with the arrangements. Breakfast food was very good and one family member appreciated provision of oat milk with tea in the bedroom. As with any rooms located on the principal road through the town, there was some traffic noise at night if windows were open,
- Karen (8/5): - Room was lovely. And breakfast manager was very friendly
- gary (9/5): -
- Dawn (10/5): Fabulous - This is our fourth Easter stay and booked again for next year. Fab place. With friendly staff and lovely food. Also exceptionally clean. We had no issue with noise, always find it quiet. Nothing
- Jane (10/5): - Very clean, good sized room and bed. Nice staff, lovely breakfast. Very nice staff. Good location Bit warm in room and no fan, with window open noisy from road for me
- scott (9/5): - nice place nice people running it in a nice warm and welcoming place
- Patrycja (10/5): I was with my partner for one night, but the place is worth seeing :) - very nice hotel, large room with large bathroom👌😀 very clean😁 staff very friendly🥰 food delicious burgers and hot waffles delicious! a bit noisy from the street but not bothersome 🤔
- Drinkwater (10/5): Absolutely Fabulous !! - The hotel was amazing.... it was warm and welcoming, we had breakfast which was included in the room price and dinner both nights which both were first class- excellent quality ingrediants, value for money pricing along with efficient , professional staff who made us feel relaxed and welcome.
The family room we stayed in was just super, plenty of space, comfy beds , luxurious bathroom , it was a real gem of a place.
You could tell it was very well managed and looked after the place was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming the minute you came through the door.
The location is ideal to explore the local area, Cheddar Gorge only 3 miles away, Weston Super Mare about 6 miles, there was plenty to do and see.
Winscome is a charming village with little village shop shop, charity shops, coffee shops, Boots pharmacy if needed, a Chippy and Indian restaurant.
There was plenty of parking on site which was all free, mix of electric, disabled and regular spaces.
We loved it so much we have already booked a return visit next year and we are beinging extra family along too. Nothing that we can think ok
- Nicola (10/5): Would definitely stay here again - Lovely and clean, friendly staff Nothing
- Alex OB (10/5): - Friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast, big bedroom and bathroom, comfortable. Nothing.
- John (10/5): Great property in a lovely community with even lovelier people. - The Woodborough Inn was an absolute pleasure, it’s a thriving pub at the heart of a lovely community.
The junior suite was huge, and the property itself is immaculate.
For me, the staff made a difference, they all work extremely hard and have one objective… making sure guests are happy, well fed and watered.
The breakfast and meal options are plentiful, and the food was top notch.
We travelled to Cheddar on bikes via the Strawberry Line which didn’t take too long, and we got to see rolling hills and lots of wildlife.
Highly recommended! N/a

- Robert (10/5): Excellent -
- Emily (10/5): We will be back! - Amazing location and room. Great staff and great food.
- Holly (9/5): Great location, welcoming and comfortable. - Lovely pub, lovely greeting on arrival. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. Good location- 5 mins from thatchers factory Breakfast wasn’t great. Lots of lovely options, I chose avocado and eggs which was inedible. There was far too much garlic in the avocado (which should have none in it). Our dinner was lovely but again, far too much garlic in everything-even the chicken burger.
- Annette (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf. - Sfeer, en restaurant, en erg vriendelijk personeel. -
- Arthur (10/5): - not a thing all GOOD

- Katia (10/5): Lovely pub with great atmosphere - The property was clean and easy to get to. The pubs interior is very pretty and has a lovely atmosphere.

- Burden (8/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): - Lovely staff, comfortable room, bar was really nice.
Breakfast was lovely, and the little village was beautiful xx The room needs a bit of, but nothing that ruined our stay.
- Cristina (9/5): - Clean, good location, confortable beds. It was too hot during the night. Breakfast options are OK if you stay 2-3 nights but afterwards it gets repetitive.
- Victoria (10/5): The perfect, cosy, home from home spot to break up the journey to Devon and Cornwall. - Service at check in, the bar, at dinner and breakfast was exceptional. Plus housekeeping got caught up in our checkout with us forgetting things - absolute stars! Nothing! Would highly recommend.

There is a Co-op across the road, an excellent Fish & Chip shop and a pharmacy. There is the option to eat on-site should you wish to do so.
It is an excellent location if you wanted to visit Cheddar Gorge/Wookey Hole.
The staff were very informative and friendly, we were made to feel very welcome.
Parking was also excellent.
Highly recommended. Nothing to dislike.
