Guest Reviews
- Joseph (2/5): - I booked this online on Expedia around 6 PM, tried to call to confirm around 9 PM. Only the security guard answered the phone. Got there, only security guard present, no attendant. Name of the hotel was different. I got ripped off!
- Jorge (2/5): - Got charged for the room and went a was trying to check in the hotel was closed and said they won’t pay me back my money
- Cassius (2/5): - I didn't get the room I reserved and TV didn't work
- Dominique (10/5): - It was clean
- Britnay (6/5): - Ok
- John (4/5): - Sleepless night due to some very loud folks above us starting around 3:30 AM and through 6 AM.
Breakfast was nice. Texas shaped waffles, biscuits and gravy.
- Kim (6/5): - Na
- Hyunmin (10/5): Nice hotel~!! - Clean rooms and facilities, breakfast was good too.
- April (2/5): - Dirty rooms that smelled of mildew and mold
- Joan (6/5): - Did not feel room was very clean (esp the bathroom). Area did not appear safe.
- Tina (6/5): - It wasnt that clean but decent
- Marissa (2/5): - Rude staff this morning
- Ronira (4/5): Not the greatest! - The hotel has seen better days. Our room has a musty smell from a very old carpet. Bed was comfortable. There was nothing to eat at 8 am ,breakfast time. Finally, they replaced the food after we asked.Pool is closed. I would pay $30 bucks more for a better place
- Jo (4/5): - Toilets were too short and would be good for a small child
The pillows were terrible, provided no comfort. Although the staff member was very nice to give me two extra pillows our first night but they did not help
The bathtub was very slippery and there were no grab bars to hold
The carpet in the room felt sticky
The room ac worked well.
Breakfast was lacking: the Texas waffles were good, and it would have been nice to have some sugar free syrup and peanut butter available. There was no fruit, yogurt, bread for toast, cereal or milk available. The hours for breakfast were 0600-0900; however on our first morning the eggs and sausage were gone. The coffee was weak. The pepper gravy was very thick the first morning. This was a very minimal breakfast.
The staff was very friendly. There was an overcharge on my bill and the manager was very polite and friendly in getting my refund posted
- Rachel (2/5): - This was by far one of the worst places we have stayed. We knew it wouldn’t be great at the price I’ve paid but didn’t expect it to be this bad. It was filthy with stains on the carpet and a dirty bathtub. TV didn’t work and there were bugs. Lesson learned. You get what you pay for.,
- Darius (8/5): - It's a nice place for rhe price. The pool had no water in June was my only inconvenience.
- April (8/5): - Front desk very friendly and helpful.
Area clean
Pre reasonable
- yu (4/5): - Not clean.
- Ethel (6/5): - We requested a non-smoking room although the hotel was booked and they registered us in a smoke filled bedroom. It took a while to get this worked out
- gregory (6/5): - Dirty out dated rooms...1 star rating...not 7
- Terrie (8/5): It was ok - Great beds clean room very clean ground poor breakfast.
- Nanci (2/5): - It smelt horrible
- Manuel (10/5): - Courteous front desk personnel. Good rates
- Daniel (4/5): - Dated and dirty room
- Annette (4/5): - The property appears old and shabby. It wasn’t really dirty as it was old. The cost was super low. You get what you pay for. The front desk man was very nice and courteous. We asked for the door to not face the parking lot and he obliged.
- Derrick (10/5): - It was good management could have better for people that don’t have it . But the lady that works morning is damn good tell her it comes from Derrick And the maid she is excellent.
- Cliff (10/5): - The staff was particularly helpful. The location was perfect for our needs
- Shaylynn (10/5): - Was a last minute stop for the night on our way to moving to a new state. Affordable and good for the quick need. Bed was a little squeaky and loud but other than that it was still comfy.
- Martha (2/5): - The first room was no cleaned. The kitchen sink had food all over the bathroom was not cleaned. I have pictures. The second room they gave us has a fire alarm with a battery that was going out and it beep the entire night. I’m very very disappointed and had no sleep. I should get a dull refund.
- Kayelynn (6/5): - There were no batteries in the remote, there was no soap or toiletries. The beds were good and clean. The staff was helpful and nice. Overall was okay but housekeeping needs to be sure it’s ready for guest.
- Ruth (2/5): Horrible stay. - We left the hotel and didn’t stay it was so dirty. There was hair everywhere on the bed and the sink had used toilet paper and also the iron board was full of stains. The pool was nasty outside and it smelled of smoke as well.
- Diamond (10/5): - Loved it
- Diamond (10/5): - Loved it
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We did not get the room we booked. All the rooms were dirty. The room we were finally booked into, after an hour of trying to find a “clean” one, was also still dirty. (See pictures)
- Clarissa (4/5): - The first room wouldn’t open, the second was very dirty, and the third was fine.
- Konny (8/5): - Love the new rooms, much cleaner
- James (8/5): - Was clean, Could use an up grade do to ware, help was very good and attentive, good value, good breakfast. I would stay there again.
- John (10/5): - Friendly and good price
- Jared (2/5): - Manger was rude owners were even worse. We got breakfast but wasn't allowed to eat in our room my Girlfriend has a service dog because of her seizures and all the workers manger and the owners yelled multiple times at the dog n my girls because it was on thr sidewalk butbthe hotel supposed to be pet friendly amd I had to get to the front decks to check in and they say the ok not do cash noo online bookings accepted wasn't impressed at all with this stay
- Zach (4/5): - My issue with the property was having to wait outside in the cold for around 20 minutes to check in because they lock the lobby doors at night, and the employee checking me in was having a difficult time with the hotel’s operating system. Additionally, the room smelled like smoke. That said, I guess you get what you pay for.
- Konny (2/5): - Bathroom sink not working, stopped up. Walls dirty, dust and dirt on furniture… fleas in room… very loud !
- Diamond (6/5): - It was okay
- Neil (8/5): - Was a great place for a stopover, nice and clean. We got there late and left early to continue our travels
- Diamond (10/5): - Enjoyed
- Jose (8/5): - It was nice compared to the low cost of the room rate. Usually this rate gives you hard beds, dirty carpet, messed up sinks/showers.
NO CRACK HEADS OUTSIDE.
- Dustin (4/5): - You get what you for
- Clarence (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable
- Rodrick (8/5): - Quiet place
- laura (8/5): - This hotel is quiet, despite being close to 2 freeways. The location made it easy to drive around the city, and it is an easy drive to Palo Duro National Park.
It is always nice to have front desk staff 24 hrs daily. The front desk staff were very professional.
- Marissa (10/5): - Pet friendly
- Amanda (8/5): - I didn't like the rooms even though I'm still here the mattress are old and nasty the battub is old and nasty
- Geoff (10/5): - Great place for the price
- Franklyn (8/5): Fast stay - A staple for a fast stay. Beds are comfortable and hotel is quite.
- April (6/5): - The front desk staff very rude. claimed that we had an animal in the room. We did not. The shower was not working the morning of check out.
- Janey (6/5): - Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room needed to be vacuumed, had roaches and Wife did not work.
- Teresa (2/5): - Avoid this place. Cops always there with the ambulance and drugs addicts.
- Teresa (4/5): - The rooms are quite nice. However, the incompetency of the junkies they have running the place.. This which includes the small "East Indian" ... Who refused to allow the police and I to view the transaction in question. The error of the drunk/high...recovering heavy set white woman with the tattoos.... Failed to pay attention to her task... Long story short... They made her dumb mistake ruin my trip.
Otherwise, my poor dog whom I declared at check in but a hollow thin white woman with brown hair... Lied and said I had not declared my lil doggie....
He.. My Lil figure.. Is now INFESTED with fleas...
His very records show he is parasite free...
So come for me if you like....
One couple fought ALL night long cops, for truck, ambulance all showed up over some drug addicts and poor management thinking people want free rooms at the half way house this hotel had turned into. If you have any class or decent upbringing this is not the extended stay inn for you.
- Norma (4/5): Bed was awful! - Bed was horrible, carpet seemed dirty.
Lady at fest was very nice. Room needs a blanket on the bed.
- Cynthia (8/5): - Missed not having coffee before 6 am and only in the lobby.
- David (6/5): average at best - bathtub shower was clogged. food left in fridge by previous guests
- Kiki (4/5): Not Going To Go There Again - Room was clean enough but still felt yucky...didn't really feel like making ourselves at home...didn't want to use the shower or towels....just used it to sleep...would NEVER stay there again. Also toilet was super low to the floor and toilet paper was placed at a about two foot reach.
- John (10/5): - Seems good , little confusion on room assignment but staff was excellent in resolving.
- Brenda (10/5): - Good
- Nazmiah (8/5): - The young lady who checked us in at around 2am was super nice! She took into consideration we had a long trailer and wanted us to at least be located on the first floor to have easy access to it and to keep an eye on it, etc. She had four rooms on the first floor (that were smoking rooms) but given our situation, she didnt want us walking up and down stairs, so out of the four the decent smelling one was one we chose. It wasn't all that clean but decent enough for a one night stay. We just needed sleep. The bathroom could use several touch-ups and the room could use a good cleaning. But, like I said, it was decent enough for a one night stay. We had beds to sleep in and hot water to shower in. We kinds smelled of cigarette smoke upon leaving but it wasn't overwhelming. I just want to thank the young lady who worked with us that night/morning. She was so so nice.
The property isn't all that fancy, and it kind of looks sketchy but it's really not that bad. For the price, it was good enough. And there is a restaurant next door and Taco Bell. So you have a place to have breakfast, located in a decent area next to the highway. Easy in, easy out.
- JOHN (4/5): - Smelly and dirty room. Trash from leftover from previous guest. Beetles in corner. Reserved non-smoking but got room with ash tray. Felt unsafe. Suggest for find better options.
- Michael (6/5): - Breakfast was skimpy and terrible.
Pool was closed. Staff membrr said it was
- Christopher (4/5): - Be advised that if you have dogs you have a pet deposit of 15 per dog per night. There was trash in the trash can inside our room when we checked in (someone else’s garbage), the room was a non-smoking room and it was clearly a smoking room, the pillow cases and bedding and room was full of smoke smell. The reviews about a nice tub and clean rooms must have been in a different area than we saw. The breakfast was interesting and we chose to not eat. The best part was the front desk attendant in the morning. She was extremely sweet and kind.
- REDDI (2/5): - Worst
- Richard (6/5): Very disappointed - The check in was mundane through a safety glass on the outside. The room was dirty with old soap left on the tub ledge, hair stuck to the sides and bottom of the tub and a leaking tub faucet. I left the hotel before I saw this email or I would have happily taken pictures. My wife and I came here because of the reviews. Amazing what people are good with in the post-COVID years! I would not recommend this hotel.
- Sooraj (2/5): - They gave my confirmed reservation to someone else and me and my family was forced to find a different accommodation in mid night. No value in expedia reservation
- Verda (6/5): - Was not what I expected for what we paid
- Jessica (2/5): - Room was nasty! Floors were sticky. Bed was rock hard.
- Matteo (2/5): - Terrible everything
- EUGENE (10/5): - Loved the friendliness of the staff. The room was 5 star, felt like i was at home. The garden was a super nice design touch. Conveniently located close to all the stores you would need while traveling.
- Robert (8/5): Nice hotel, nice room. - Nice comfortable room. Shower could use no-slip tape on bottom, as I had to be very careful showering.
No juice was served with breakfast, only coffee.
- Brian (10/5): Nice - For the price a great stay
- Joseph (8/5): - Property requires some upgrading.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Pool "Closed for maintenance"- didn't look like it has been open for some time. Room cramped, can't open bathroom door very far because bed is in the way.
- Tommy (4/5): Not worth the small amount to stay here - The room was not as expected. Pictures show a comfy room. Room smell horrible. Like a dirty person who hasn’t bathed in months. I even went to Walgreens to get some freshener, it only masked the odor for a bit. I woke up to same smell. Tub was nasty. It looked like they painted the tub to hide discoloration with normal wall paint. Cause when I turns in water the paint started chipping and ended up in my bath water. (And yes I took a bath since I was finishing up a 2318 mile drive)
For the price it was, it should have been $20 cause the only thing we were happy about was the hot water. Also, it seems this was a scetch area, there was homeless people with their stuff outside of lobby doors smoking. And the local police department kept driving around hotel, so assuming they are always called there.
I should have went with my gut and choose one of the other hotels.
- Stanley (10/5): - The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
- Angie (8/5): It’s ok - I read some good reviews so thought I’d give it a chance. You get what you pay for. The room wasn’t the nicest. Dirty, crowded. Had to move the desk chair to have room to walk. Rooms open to the outside, when checking in I couldn’t even go inside the lobby so made me wonder about the neighbors. No issues but I wouldn’t stay here again.
- Lienhuong (8/5): It’s as your home - This is good hotel for group 4 ; family with kitchen, everything good as your home
- Iyesha (10/5): - Nicer than expected. Cheap rates good enough for a night
- Stanley (8/5): - Quiet and extremely relaxing
- James (10/5): - Great value. Nothing fancy, but just what a weary traveler needed.
- Linda (10/5): - Nice comfortable bed. Friendly staff and a good breakfast
- Stanley (10/5): - Everything was great, no noise, the staff was very accommodating. It would be nice to be able to take your breakfast back to your room
- Angelyn (10/5): - Very nice front desk
- SUSAN (4/5): - The evening and night staff was abrupt and almost rude in dealing with us. He said "expeida is down" and so lost 2 reservations for $45 and charged us over $100 instead. Our family had a member die is why we were in town and staff wouldn't allow us to take a breakfast plate to the room for the daughter of the mom who had died. Totally insensitive and inconsiderate.
We did leave behind a bag of change, which the staff found and it was returned intact to us the next morning. the young lady on duty was friendly and helpful. Manager was abrupt and didn't even speak to us.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Just them two @ no need. - The lady there was very angry. I understand her condition but maybe you don't need to be working if you complain too much in front of customers. The other short Indian lady with glasses has no respect what so ever for customers/society itself. Both were very rude and disrespectful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great customer service! The rooms were nice, clean and exceptional. Amanda WAS GREAT and very outgoing!!
Sarah is nice and professional as well.
NICE WORK!!
- Todd (4/5): - The place was run down, not maintained, toilets didn't flush well, "breakfast" bar was a joke with only a waffle maker and nasty eggs and half cooked biscuits. It's been awhile since I have stayed at a place of this quality. Step up your game
- Leah (6/5): - Overall, fine place to crash for a night.
- LUIS (6/5): - I enjoyed their breakfast the most. Decent stay for the price you pay.
- Kevin (10/5): - Great staff great accommodations clean rooms convenient location
- Grace (2/5): - Check in took forever. Room was not nice, bed sheet was dirty, they didn’t have our reservation so we had to pay for another day after being locked out early. Would never go here again
- Eric (6/5): - Checked in at 2 and was not told there was an early check in fee . . .
- Naomi (10/5): - Excellent service. Tho I think it shouldn't matter were we eat breakfast served for us.
- Leslie (2/5): - Steps unsafe
- David (10/5): - This property is fine.
