Guest Reviews
- dawn (2/5): - Good price but the room smells terrible, I’m not even sure what it is. Maybe water? AC? Carpet?
I was thinking mold. I just couldn’t figure it out, but I couldn’t wait to get out of the room. The people there are very sweet, so I don’t know if it was just my room.
- Destiny (10/5): - It was nice for just one night while I was out for a horse show
- David (10/5): - It was a great price for a centrally located area. Easy to get to Tulsa and Stillwater. It was a far better value than some of the big box hotels in either city mentioned.
- Maus (10/5): - Friendly staff that are attentive.
- Aron (2/5): - The faucet and the shower does not have cold water. The bed was very flat and uncomfortable. The pillows are very soft they have no structure.
The shower is very small, not made for people taller then four feet there was nats everywhere flying out of the sink out of the shower drain, they have some sort of infestation working its way through the floor in the corners of the room the t v doesn't work very well all in all, I would never go back there oh, and not to mention the staff that worked there all gather in the back in the middle of all the doors and yeah, play games and stay up all night, probably smoke meth make a bunch of noise and they don't serve breakfast, even though there's a place for breakfast there
- Ella (10/5): - The staff was great
- Aleisha (6/5): - There was a bunch of people in front of property hanging out drinking.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice motel - The stay was nice, very quiet at night.
- Vanessa (6/5): - Older motel run by the nicest people. Everything was clean just older and maybe cosmetically needs some uogrades but if you are looking for a bed to sleep no problems here. Toilet is for tiny ppl lol
- Marjorie (10/5): Clean and Comfortable - Room and shower were clean, bed was comfortable.
- Patricia (8/5): We felt safe and the beds were comfortable - This is a small motel. You can tell it is older and it looks like they are slowly renovating each room. The room we had - it seemed it had not been opened in a while. It had a 'closed up' smell. Not bad, you could just tell it was not used often. I would recommend this location for the price. We felt safe and the beds were comfortable.
- Ivan (10/5): - It was a nice stay.
- T (6/5): - The gentleman at the counter was super sweet
- Arthur (6/5): - light fixxture on wall not working. tv control not working. bed noisy when setting on foot of bed
- T (8/5): - Needs updated
- Tessica (10/5): - The staff was amazing
- Felix (10/5): Willshire - Amazing stay very nice people great place
- Nyree (6/5): - Although the price was reasonable & we needed a last-minute place, it was very outdated & the room had an oder. The bed was very uncomfortable & we even saw a small guess crawling up the wall.
- Terri (10/5): - It was a pleasant stay for what we needed it for
- John (10/5): - Good value for the cost.
- ernest (8/5): - Adaquate and clean.
- Teressa (10/5): - Very clean and quiet
- Clifford (10/5): - Front desk was very helpful. Also, staff was very helpful.
- Sarah (6/5): Super Budget - Fine for a very cheap place to spend the night. Very dated and in poor condition, but fairly clean and safe.
- Justin (8/5): - The hotel was a good place for an overnight stop. Overall, the room was clean. Slight stains on the bathroom wall, the bathroom was quite small, barely enough room to shut the door. The place was extremely quiet and the staff was very friendly. The bed was excellent if you like a firm mattress.
- William (4/5): - Shower didn’t work only 1 electrical socket worked
The room had a strange smell the walls where nasty!! Only positive is that the AC worked very well !!
- Kurtis (10/5): - Friendly staff and owner. Clean and centrally located, quite property
- Bret (10/5): - Clean hotel very nice management
- carmina (10/5): - .
- Ginny (4/5): - We had 2 rooms they we away from each other. Our bathroom sick had dirt or something in it. The bathroom had mold everywhere and the shower head was super low we would have had to shower on oir knees.
- Blake (6/5): - It was inexpensive. I was only going to be there about 8 hours anyway. I slept on top of the comforter and took a shower before leaving. Getting ready to leave the next morning I noticed a shopping cart being pushed by 3 young ladies. They were the maid service. Hope they made multiple trips. They didn't strip the bed, have any cleaning supplies, vacuum cleaner, or linens with them. I didn't stick around to find out.
- Jerica Nicole (8/5): - no hassle check in
- Cameron (8/5): - Stayed for 1 night to attend OSU graduation. Clean and convenient. Friendly staff and easy check-in. Would recommend for budget crunched travelers.
- Alicia (10/5): - Very helpful staff.
- Michele (6/5): - Nice to finally get off the road but this place needs some serious tender loving care! Sink totally backed up. Was gross w/two of us brushing teeth. Trash on floor behind bathroom door and in the morn the desk was closed at 8am. We tried to get into lobby for a cup of coffee and a goodbye but suddenly there was an “out of order” sign on coffee machine ..and the door remained locked. “Average” is putting it kindly. Quite dumpy really. My rate was $50 but final bill was $67.. huh? Only if yer desperate folks…
- John (10/5): Just What I Wanted - Quiet, not right on the street. Capable clerk. Comfortable bed. Parked right in front of my room. TV, desk, modern door lock, microwave, and fridge. The shower head spread the water evenly. No bugs. The toilet and tub were old but worked fine. Someone came in and made up my bed and replaced used towels and wash cloth while I was out.
- Richard (6/5): - The toilet and bathtub were to close together.
- KENYON (8/5): - I really liked the fact that the price was right but I feel that was because a lot of updates need to be made in the bathroom very old and rusty cracked sink missing cover for the exhaust fan
- Danielle (6/5): Not to shabby! - The beds are so hard killed my back shower was short and I’m 5 ft 5 in it hit my neck and below was the weirdest thing ever! Other than that was awesome quiet I was not upset about anything else!
- Cameron (8/5): - …
- Christopher (2/5): - Dirtiest model I’ve ever seen
- Lorie (10/5): - Great clean and late check in was very easy.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great room at a great price.
- Terri (10/5): - It was clean, comfortable, and quiet.
- Mike (8/5): Nice - Clean with great air conditioning bed was very comfortable
- Hines (4/5): - Originally we were assigned to a room that had a queen bed, but we had reserved a "deluxe room with two full-size beds". We were able to shift to a room with two full-size beds but deluxe is definitely a euphemism. On the plus side, the air conditioner and TV worked well and the beds are OK and clean as is the carpet. The refrigerator has no freezer and the microwave has a twist timer which doesn't seem to be accurate. The shower works but is substandard. The one chair in the room is partially broken. The grounds are a disaster and the coffee machine in the lobby is broken and no coffee maker in our room. The place appears to be run by a family - they were nice but their English seemed to be marginal. The place is like a compound with numerous buildings each with rooms. It is old but probably could be fixed up...
- Scott (6/5): - It served its purpose. Cheap, a shower, and a bed. It was barely ok. Felt like I was in 1976.
- David (10/5): - Overall stay was very pleasant, would love to stay here again when back in Cushing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and we could park our truck and Motorcycle right in front of our rrom. Beds are very comfortable, and rooms gave very cool air conditioning.
- Henry (10/5): - This is an older unit, but my room was near perfect for me. The city of Cushing is doing a new road in front.
- Dalan (10/5): - I was nervous about a $56/night stay, but I was pleasantly surprised. The property is dated but has fresh paint. It’s not the Ritz, but the essentials were great. The bed and pillow were more comfortable than most places I stay. The shower is great with instant hot water. The room was clean and had a microwave, fridge and hairdryer. They cleaned and made the bed each day which isn’t something a lot of places do anymore. You’ll want to bring soap and shampoo since their offerings aren’t great. The TV worked fine and had a ton of channels. I was in town for a Corvette autocross at Central Tech which is a great facility. If we have another event in Drumright, I’ll definitely stay at Wilshire Inn again.
- Arturo (6/5): - For the price it’s a good place to sleep in, beds are clean. Toilet seat is a wooden toilet seat and it’s kind of worn. Carpeting does not appear to be clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nicely adequate - Everything was fine; actually better than what I expected for the price. The beds were firm, but not too firm.
Just be prepared to take your own clock, shampoo, hairdryer, and hangers.
The morning we were there, breakfast wasn’t available.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Absolutely unprofessional and the woman that works there thinks its okay to charge extra to put in her pocket.
- Tracy (10/5): Great Value For The Money - Stayed here one nighy while on my way home from Las Vegas. I was very impressed with the room. It was a little outdated but was a huge room. Comfy bed. Even the parking lot has parking lines for big cars. I thought the value was incredible.
- Michael (8/5): Great price. - Best price withing 30 miles. Old place but safe and spacious. Friendly staff, very accomodating. The rooms are old and somewhat worn down, but they are spacious and have all you need, microwave, mini fridge with freezer, hair dryer. For the price, it is a very good place to stay.
- Chip (6/5): - I made a late booking for one night and check-in was very easy with someone at the desk around midnight. The hotel was not the Ritz, but the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Just wish the shampoo and soap were a bit better. In any event, for $50 bucks, it was good.
- Julius (8/5): - Ok
- Verified traveler (8/5): Overnight Trip - I got a good nights rest!
- James (10/5): - We accidently left our laptop and tablets ina case inte room. I contacted them the next day and they had it and saved it until someone could pick it up for us.
- Matt (4/5): - One working outlet in the entire room. Breakfast advertised but did not have any. Cleanliness was ok but could be much better. Lobby smelled heavily of incense. In town with friends and the sign at check in said no guests or you would have to leave with no refund. The list could go on..
- Karla (8/5): - Nice stay for the price.
- Caroline (6/5): - It is a little outdated, whitch is not that bad. There was not a breakfast. I thought I Had read that they offered. And not their fault but the road construction in front of their building started real early making it hard to rest and sleep
- Tim (2/5): - This place was an absolute nightmare. We arrived late after a 10 hour drive, and the first room we were checked into was filthy, and smelled like an ashtray. When I went back to the front desk to get another room, he stated that he “didn’t know why they put us back there, that’s where the workers stay” I’m not sure what that means, or how that justifies smoking in rooms that are non smoking, but that’s a very small issue compared to everything else. The next room didn’t smell as bad, but it was equally filthy. The sheets were discolored from stains (either old sheets, or fresh stains) there was no fitted sheet, just a flat laid over the nasty mattress, the walls were peeling, the carpet shredding, the door was damaged, it was a nightmare. We left, at 1:30 in the morning we fled to find something livable. The next morning we called to be refunded in full, there was some argument over us staying the first night, but that was quickly over with, we had to go back to the property because, according to the front desk, they don’t retain cc info— and when we tried to give the number over the phone, every single number was misheard so… we had to go back to the trash heap in an attempt to be refunded. When I arrived, the woman at the desk yelled at me for “lying to Expedia” about not being given a refund… mind you the issue was not that we had to flee their establishment at 1am, or that their accommodations weren’t fit for dumpster divers…. But that I let Expedia know about it.
- Holly (8/5): - Older property but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, good parking. Would stay again. Good value.
- William (6/5): - the bathroom exhaust fan for the wasn't working other than that the room was ok
- Ashley (2/5): - Won’t stay there again
- Verified traveler (4/5): -
- Elizabeth (4/5): - Room service was disappointing. One day they didnt provide towels, i had to request them at the front desk when i returned to hotel at 4pm. Another day, after room service, i returned to find the room heater turned off, not turned down but full shut off. In January, with temps at 40 to 45 degrees, and on my return, the room was FREEZING.
- Ricardo (10/5): - Shower could be cleaner, towels too rough
- Matthew (10/5): Thank you - We had a great stay at the wilshire. Friendly staff and clean room.
- Karla (6/5): - Motel decent for the price. Shower not in working order, however I didn’t discover this until morning of check out.
- Patrick (10/5): - The room was great for the price. It's a no thrills place but it was clean. Trash and towels were changed daily. Linen weekly. Would definately stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Pleased - It was a nice stay. They didn't have breakfast.. because of covid. Over all it was a pleasant stay.
- Kelli (10/5): - This is a no frills, clean and friendly staff made it worth the stay
- christy (8/5): - Extremely helpful staff. They are working hard to do some renovations.
- tracy (8/5): - Everything was good! But the lack of water pressure in the shower. Overall we will stay again if we back up this way
- Oneta (8/5): - Clean. Bed n pillows not great. No breakfast of any kind but nice people.
- Jodi (10/5): Quiet little place tucked away - Place was very clean and calm. They were so kind we were in town due to a death in my family and the hotel i booked look like some kind of halfway house. So i quickly got back on hotels.com and booked this place. Even at almost 2 am the came and made sure tv worked and to see if we needed anything else. They were so kind and thoughtful of our needs. Even booked for eztra nights and they were so accommodating. Would definely go back there
- Verified traveler (8/5): Your in Cushing - Not a lot of ameneities or conviences but did have essentials for overnight stay. Overnight manager James kept eye on my trailer load and was a great host. I slept well knowing it was under his watchful eye.
- Brandon (8/5): will come here again - Good so far i still have a couple hours
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room smelled and was just not fresh! Tub was gross. Small towels.
- Tracy (8/5): Nice place - It's a nice place to stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Motel with large property so each room is on the ground floor with ample parking in front of each room
- Robert (10/5): Nice place - Nice place, great and friendly staff!
