- Peter (6/5): Cheap but worn down hotel - The place is pretty close to the center and the train station. The hotel provides extras (e.g. free curry rice dinner and pastry daily – although I would not give money to any of those) to make up for their weaknesses. As it was written by some of the reviewers (although I misjudged them based no the photos), the hotel is pretty worn down. I would not care much about outdated interior, but the black mold around the window frame by the bed and the bathroom did not make me feel comfortable. They were tried to be cleaned, but without much luck. Additionally, the air vents were full of dust, and almost all surfaces had spots and stains… It did not give me the impression of a clean room.

We had breakfast included, they let us take a different bun everyday and one night provided a simple supper service as the local restaurants were all closed due to a holiday.

Hotel is a bit of a walk from the main drag, but nothing too outrageous. There are two conbini close by. The rooms are mostly well-kept, but very old and run down. The bathroom was tiny. Wi-fi was patchy at best - I ended up hotspotting off my phone most of the time I was there.

- fairysky (8/5): Excellent price but the hotel and room is quite dated - It's been a while since this hotel received a review on TripAdvisor, and I think it truly deserves an update of sort. Firstly, it definitely gets more dated since, and certainly can do with some renovation. But Aomori-shi really isn't the mainstream tourism hub of Japan, and apart from during Nebuta festival and some major holidays, it's hard to imagine this city can attract a respectable volume of tourists to justify new investment, notably this hotel is a little far from Aomori station (10~15 mins walk), but that shouldn't be much issue if one knows how to make use of local bus, which is just minutes ride away. That said, the price for a night's stay (at least for what I paid) has been excessively well justified for the semi-double room we stayed. I had reservation about the bed size because some hotel's semi-double bed can be pathetically small (ie 120mm), but the price was just too attractive for me, that I decided to take a risk, fortunately I got a room with a standard double bed (140mm). And my room area is fairly decent for a business hotel, more than sufficient area to open 2 large luggage side by side. I won't call it large, but it's certainly larger than some Japanese hotel chains. Our room has a toilet with small bath tub, kettle, basically all general amenities are provided, although the TV is very small. The hotel has a coin laundry on lobby level (4F), along with vending machines, free coffee, and a good varieties of free breads upon check-in. Didn't try their breakfast, but Aomori Gyosai Center is just a 5 minutes walk away, and there are also a few nice ramen restaurants nearby, along with a combini downstair and a 7-Eleven just across the street. The hotel itself does not have a communal bath facility, but those interested can hop over to Aomori Machinaka Onsen across the road, there is a day-use natural hotspring that opens from 6am through midnight, which is quite popular among the locals!

- Y- (10/5): - 無料でいただけるカレーライスがとても美味しく、菓子パンもひとり一個頂けました。 駐車場もホテルの真隣にあるので、車高の高い車でも難なく宿泊することができます。 また、1階部分がコンビニと併設しているため、 買い出しの必要があっても難なく済ませることが可能でした。 コスパもよくまた宿泊したいと思えるホテルでした。

- SUMIYO (6/5): - この頃フロントに人がいない時間があるホテルが多い中、早い時間から(ひょっとすると交代で一日中)フロント業務に当たっていたので、何かあった時は、、、と安心して宿泊できました。私の泊まった部屋のドアに 部屋番号と"避難具装備室"と書かれてました。 どういう部屋？と不思議に感じてしまったので、一言フロントでその説明をして欲しかったです。 朝ごはん用のパンの支給もあったりして嬉しかったです。 が、それなら飲み物にお茶だけでなくコーヒーの用意もあればもっと嬉しかったです。

- Toshihiko (10/5): - パンや夕方カレーのサービスがあって、通常のホテルには無いサービスなので驚きました。寒い雪国ですが、部屋の暖房も心地良く快適に過ごすことができました。注文をつけるとしたら、エレベーターが若干遅いということでしょうか。

- Tanakrit (9/5): Good location. Clean. Comfortable - The location is at the center of city. Staffs are very good. They gave a bread to us when checked in. and They have little supper for us. The room was clean. Nothing didn’t like. But you have to paid the parking lot.

- Jayne (2/5): Worst we have stayed in - One member of staff was helpful and friendly The room was dirty and uncomfortable. The window was frosted so no view. It felt like a dungeon. The public areas were dark and dirty. The bathroom was so small we struggled to do what we needed to do. One member of staff was miserable, surly and unhelpful Location was in a run down street.
- Shohei (8/5): Old hotel but amazing hospitality! - They provide free curry in the evening and a piece of bread made by a local bakery. The dinner was especially helpful because most restaurants close by 7 PM and all you can find in the town will be Izakaya, but you get a free meel when you get back to the hotel. And it was yummy! Breakfast was nice as well. Unless you have other plans, such trying the Nokke-don from the fish market nearby, I would recommend you to get the breakfast included plan. The hotel was quite old... I feel the Showa era vibes, which I actually enjoyed, but you can see the carpet are wearing off. I would've liked a mug cup in the room but that's not crucial.
