- Susan (8/5): - The staff were amazing. So helpful with everything we needed including a pick up for a bus stuff-up and navigating booking systems. Fab location close to Goryu plaza, bus stops and Kamishiro as well as local eateries. Substantial breakfast included in the price and onsen on site too. The hotel is quite old and a few things could do with a good clean such as the shower curtain and onsen walls. Also no common room area for preparing own light meals and socialising although a microwave, tea and coffee were always available

- Tone (10/5): An awesome time in Hakuba Japan! - Excellent Location, great breakfast and fantastic staff and service! Big Arigato to Jun the manager and Yano the shuttle driver!

- Seauton (10/5): 素晴らしい❗ - The hotel is simple rather than high-end, but what truly makes it special is the warmth of the staff. Everyone greeted us with genuine smiles and was very kind, which made our stay comfortable and pleasant.
The staff were easy to talk to and very approachable, and the place was clean and convenient. The price is also very reasonable, making it a great choice for budget travelers like us.
Thank you very much. We will definitely book here again. Sometimes the bus becomes fully booked due to reservations, which makes it difficult for us to follow our original plans and forces us to change routes. If it were possible to expand the pickup service or extend the pickup support during busy times, it would be very helpful. We would really appreciate this improvement.
But still over all rating is 11/10.thank you!
- Akihiro (10/5): スキーを楽しむのに最高の場所でした。 - 朝食と24時間利用できる大浴場がよかったです。 特になし

- Akhil (4/5): - Compared to hotel room sizes in other places, the room was relatively big. Staff were helpful and free breakfast was an added bonus. Rental discount and lift pass discounts were also good.
Hotel was walking distance from the resort and provided shuttle services to and from the resort.
Shuttle service was extremely helpful as they picked you and dropped you off when arriving and departing the hotel.
Free drying room was also pretty big to store everything. I’m fairly particular about cleanliness and generally expect hotel rooms to meet a basic standard in that regard. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case during my stay.
The in-house onsen was only average at best. There was clearly visible mould around the edges and flooring, and the change room itself was extremely small. I only used the onsen once and chose not to return for the remainder of the trip due to cleanliness concerns.
Unfortunately, the bathroom in the room was in a similar condition. The shower curtain was covered in mould and appeared not to have been cleaned for a long time. There was also visible hair on the shower curtain, which was concerning given the room was occupied by two male guests. While this may have been a one-off issue, newly provided towels also had hair on them.
The bathtub was very small, making it difficult to shower without constantly coming into contact with the mould-covered curtain. Additionally, some of the room lights emitted a noticeably loud buzzing noise when turned on. One light was also positioned unusually low, and I repeatedly hit my head on it.
Lastly, there was little to no soundproofing. Conversations and footsteps in the hallway were clearly audible both early in the morning and late at night.
Considering the price I paid for this room, I am extremely disappointed.
- hoikei (7/5): - close to goryu ski resort old and small bathroom
- Pedersen (7/5): -
- Qi Feng (10/5): Excellent service! - The staff was very attentive, helpful and courteous. We had many requests and they went above and beyond to fulfill our needs. Thank you very much for making our vacation in Hakuba wonderful!
We never tried the dinner but we definitely didn’t miss breakfast on our 4 day stay, everything was delicious!

- Lucio (10/5): Great - Love it Na
- Amanda (8/5): - Nice and close to escal plaza - goryu
- Nicole (9/5): - Lovely and helpful staff. Jim was amazing, helped us translate and book many things from tours to restaurants. Futon mattresses a bit thin in our room.

- Jo (9/5): Jun the hotel manager was so helpful and friendly - fab location. Highly recommended - We loved the location and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Close to very good local places to eat and drink The sleeping mats take a wee bit of getting used to but apparently very good for your back !
- Justyna (5/5): -
- Victoria (9/5): -
- CHIHIRO (10/5): -
- Natalie (7/5): - Good location, close to the shuttle bus and also walkable to escal plaza. Good value for money. The staff were helpful. There was not alot space around the beds and minimal hanging space for ski clothing. This made it a bit challenging.
- Alissa (10/5): - staff were very friendly, accessible and very close to goryu.
- Dilkes (9/5): -
- Philip (7/5): Good -
- Kim (7/5): Good -

- Bingqing (10/5): Loved it, the breakfast buffet were delicious! - Cozy hotel with friendly and amazing receptionists who would try their best to help you
- Bonnie (8/5): Great location. Ramen house next door! - Great breakfast! Lovely hosts! Unfortunately the dryer didn’t work once I washed my clothes but the host gave me a clothes hanger and all got dried in our room.
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -
- Bronwyn (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast food was not really edible for westerners, the location was ok if you wanted to ski at only one resort, but a long way from all the others. The hotel has a shuttle bus, but I did not see it move even though I asked for a lift with the kids and was repaired to pay
- Johnson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dkdave (8/5): Very good -
- Timo (3/5): Poor -
- Will (7/5): Everything we needed - Located super close to the shuttle as well as to the mountain in general. Tucked away from a lot of the noise of the mountain. The staff are incredible as well The bathrooms were a little small
- Angie (10/5): Perfect! - We loved our stay at the friendly Hakuba Park Hotel. The staff were wonderful making our stay enjoyable and easy.
- Kesley (10/5): Everything and everyone in the staff was amazing! - Everything and everyone in the staff was amazing!
- Pip (7/5): Good - Great location
Lots of local places to eat and drink at Transport between ski resorts not great at times. Taxis often unavailable although could get an uber but very expensive
Also we were give a room on lower floor which was dark and a little damp
I asked to change it but was denied. Disappointing as this was second year we had stayed there.
- Simon (9/5): Superb - It was cosy and warm, the staff were friendly and helpful. It is an excellent location for Snow lovers a 10-minute walk to Hakuba goryu. The place is basic and a little elderly nothing is broken just a little worn.
- Titus (9/5): The amazing staff and delicious breakfasts at Hakuba Park Hotel made it easy for our stay to amount to the Japow trip of - The location of this hotel is great for those looking to hit the Goryu slopes early or walk to food/drinks late. The singular small drying machine is quite weak and needs multiple cycles to properly dry clothes.
- Atiqah (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent stay. Thank you very much to Yano-san and Saki-chan for being amazing!
- Adryansyah (8/5): Very good -
- Tim (8/5): Good location close to ski resorts; value for money; excellent, free buffet breakfast. - Close proximity to Hakuba Goryu, Iimori & Hakuba 47 ski resorts with free shuttle bus to & from the ski resorts.
Friendly & helpful staff.
Free shuttle bus to transport luggage to/from Hakuba Goryu bus stop.
Excellent buffet breakfast with lots of variety.
Discount lift tickets.
Value for money. We stayed in a Japanese style room and my wife & I found the futons very uncomfortable - the kids were OK so maybe it's just because we're getting older! Not complaining because we knew what to expect but the beds were very hard after a full day's skiing.
The toilet/shower room was extremely small - definitely not suitable for large people and only one person at a time can squeeze in.
- Sophie (8/5): It did the job while we were out snowboarding - Staff were amazing, close the goyru Beds were hard and it’s a bit far from the centre of hukuba
- Veerappan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (8/5): Enjoyable stay. - Excellent location for access to Goryu Ski Field. The breakfast has a lot of options and was delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s quite old and dated.
- Luke (10/5): Awesome location to the snow and the staff are amazing highly recommended - Every thing about this Hotel is good
- Jamie (7/5): We enjoyed our stay there - Good location, the staff were very helpful. The blanket needed to be cleaned
- Johns (9/5): Superb -
- Lea (5/5): I was disappointed with the rooms. The female staff member was very nice & helpful, but on one request for a pick fr - The location was good for the ski slopes The size of the rooms & especially the bathrooms
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful!
- Robert (10/5): Super-friendly and helpful staff. - Excellent breakfast.
- Sharad (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kimberley (7/5): Good - Staff were friendly and answered all of our questions. Having breakfast at the hotel was handy as well as pickup and drop off from the bus Very basic amenities and limited food options in the area.
- Li (8/5): Very good - There's an onsen in the hotel which it's so good after skiing. Free use of washing machine and small charge for dryer.
Very good location. About 10 minutes walk to Escale Plaza and plenty restaurants nearby. Staff are very friendly. Good breakfast. We stayed at the standard room rather than the Japanese style bedroom. It's quite small inside and the bathroom is very tight. There's a common toilet which is more spacious. We used the onsen instead of showering inside our room. The bed was too hard for me but my husband found it comfy.
- Louis (10/5): Great location, va - Good breakfast. Great hospitality. Convenient location walkable to ski and many restaurants. Discounted lift tickets amazing treat (125 for 3 days
- WOW). The lady at front desk (Chen Ting Hsui) amazed us with her hospitality and level of service. Give her a raise!!! Pillows in twin room could have been softer. Beds very firm. However makes sense given price point.
- Piyanat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jesse (5/5): Passable -
- Damien (9/5): Brilliant stay with great family owners, and excellent service. - Location, Meals in house were a plus, lift tickets in house was a plus, Onsen bus each day was a plus. the only down side was the inflexibility of dinner bookings if you forgot to book on time.
- Biag91 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daryl (7/5): Good -
- Hungchou (9/5): Superb - we stay this hotel 4 days for ski in Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort.
this hotel is not far away this resort.
The service is nice and speaking English is no problem.
- Adrienne (8/5): Very good -
- Jackson (5/5): stay was fine. staff made up for the rooms being poor. location was key and staff took is to bus station on check out. - location was fantastic shuttle bus straight up to Goryu runs every 20 mins. huge drying room, Brekky included and was decent. the rooms are in need of an update. beds were very hard and the bathroom was very small and compact.
- Todd (8/5): Very good -
- Steven (10/5): terrific place to stay and eat near the lifts and restaurants - Wonderful staff and breakfast.
All the staff went out of their way to assist, even discounting our stay after we were delayed at the airport and had a difficult time getting there highly recommend only 500 m from the first Goryu lifts great little eateries around as well all within walking distance not much. Little bit small /basic but you expect that in Japan.
- Heimanarii (6/5): Despite the hotel being quite old, it’s a great value and will definitely stay there again. Love the location to two res - The owner and staff. Location is superb, right next to Goryu Escale Plaza and Iimori resort. Breakfast is limited between 7-8am only and dinner between 6-7pm only.
Property is being let down a bit
- Henry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (5/5): It was fine - Good location and very clean Beds and pillows were rock hard, the shuttle was hard to work with, and confusion with onsen the hotel works with and the japanese bath available at the hotel.
- Wei (7/5): Good -
- Rob (8/5): Really good, always felt cared for, safe, everything worked well. No fuss. - Everything was fine. Staff were extremely good. Nothing really, for the price paid and expectations any slight shortcomings are unworthy of mention. Anything done better would change to level and hence price.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (8/5): Good value stay close to Goryu - Helpful friendly staff, good breakfasts, pickups, well positioned for Goryu Missing a few of the things we expect in Japanese hotels; no bathroom kimonos, bidet. thin walls made it difficult to sleep at times
- Vivian (10/5): Great Hotel for Snowboarders/skiiers - The customer service, convenience to goryu resort either by shuttle bus or walking. Despite its humble appearance, the hotel was clean top to bottom. No speck of dust in sight. I love the free onsen. It was clean and accessible. Bathroom was small but just enough for one person.
- Winchester (6/5): Pleasant -
- สุวีณา (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pip (10/5): Fantastic stay - would stay there again - Friendly staff, always willing to help. Close to ski resort and restaurants. Onsen was amazing. breakfast was great. Beds were a little hard
- Ella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teerachai (4/5): Not happy to stay due to very old carpet. - Closed to ski resort. Very old hotel. I think carpet may be 20 years old. I stayed in 3 bedrooms. Carpet Should be changed. It looked very dirty.
- Phoebe (8/5): The staff were extremely helpful and accomodating, has everything you need accomodation wise for a snow trip. - Our room was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful The set breakfast was something we hadn’t seen before, it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing though - just different
- Tony (3/5): Nice staff can’t make up for the failings of the hotel - Most staff were very helpful, and many went right out of their way to assist. The boss was a bit Jekyll and Hyde, sometimes friendly, sometimes dismissive. The one rather comfortable western room and bathroom on the entry floor was actually quite good and roomy - my daughter and her husband moved to it as soon as they could. But got no credit for the Japanese room they vacated! But be aware not all western rooms are as good. A Japanese room is a bare room with tatami mats. No furniture except a low table, no chairs, nothing. Futons have stains and are hard as wood. You do everything sitting on the floor. So if you are not a stoic Japanese, don’t entertain thoughts of seeing the real Japan, its just misery. No room is serviced, no towels, sheets changed, no tea, no coffee (except the good western room, but still not serviced) No lounge or sit down area, breakfast and coffee from 0700 to 0800 only - don’t be late! Breakfast is passable but not good.
Bathroom in Japanese rooms is old and miniscule. A toilet, basin, bath and shower in less than 2 cubic metres! Hard to believe and very difficult to use. Probably impossible if you are over six feet.
- Rrhy (7/5): Good - The Location is convenient.
- Maeve (5/5): Passable -
- Teo (4/5): Poor sleep and rundown rooms - Near Goryu Escal Plaza. Free pick up to ski resort.
Friendly and helpful English speaking staff eg Katski-san
Free pick-up & drop-off at bus stop nearby.
Breakfast while limited selection is available.
Near Kamui restaurant: average Rundown rooms in desperate renovation needs.
Only heater available in winter and the blanket is too thick that makes it uncomfortably hot to cover up.
No daily cleaning of rooms not changing of towels.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect and the staff was great
- Mak (9/5): Superb - staff was nice and helpful. good and filling breakfast
- Aoki (7/5): Good -
- Brandon (8/5): Very good -
- James (10/5): An excellent choice for staying in Hakuba - Outstanding service, comfortable room, good price.
