Guest Reviews
- Eden (8/5): - Our stay was just ok. Had to ask for towels. Didnt have a shower mat. The view was nice.
- Carl (8/5): Amazing view - Amazing views shame nothing really open food or drink wise
- Verified traveler (8/5): - There is fishy smell in the bathroom, need more cleaning and cleansing of the toilets septage.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Location near the rotunda and other establishments
- Pilar (10/5): Lovin the Place - we enjoyed our stay, all of the staff including the security person at the parking lot were very friendly and helpful to the guests; breakfast food was awesome
- Idc (10/5): - It feels like home and the staff are very excellent and courteous in their service. I love the unlimited coffe and live piano music in the morning and in the afternoon...
The rooms are clean and the breakfast food was delicious.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staffs are friendly, however we expected that we have a view of the taal on our balcony because when I called to check if the Ambassador suite has a view of the taal, the operator said yes. There’s a cockroach in the room, the cable was annoying because not all the channels were working.
- Lordan (10/5): Nice Stay! - Enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Friendly and accomodating staff. Area is near a mall. No Wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby area.
- Clifford (10/5): Great deal at Windy ridge hotel. Great stay - It was great, will definitely return.
- Carlo (10/5): Fantastic and Lovely stay - They have a amazing and cool hotel to stay on. I like the pool although its small but not bad. The room smells good and clean
- Mae (8/5): - I was expecting to swim in the small swimmimg pool, but unfortunately the pool was so dirty
- Ma Cecilia (8/5): - It would have been perfect if there's wifi signal in the rooms
- Kim (8/5): Friendliest staff ever - My gf and i, went there for a 8 day stay, the hotel itself could use a few updates. but everything you need is there.
Its a 3 star hotel, but the staff makes it sooo much more, they are always friendly, smiling and very helpful, if i go back to tagaytay i vill surely book here again.
big thanks too all the staff for making it so enjoyable
- Ron (8/5): - Great vacation overall. Beautiful view from Lake taal and the location is so convenient. The only complaint was the food. They are not serving rice. Only hotdog and bread for breakfast that I think is not worth with what I paid.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome - Staff are very friendly, they even cleaned my car every day which is way beyond customer service.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This hotel is expensive for the quality of services offerred...
- Daisy (8/5): Overall, we had a nice stay! - We arrived a bit late at around 7pm so it didn't take us 3 minutes to be checked in. The room was spacious and the aircon is already running when we arrived so the room is nice and cold.
What they can improve:
1. When we arrived, all the drawers are half opened.
2. Phone to call the reception
3. Hot Shower
4. The bathroom has a smell. Not sure where it's coming from.
5. Provide waste basket in the room, not just the bathroom.
6. Wifi - not a major issue though for me
These are the only things that I think the hotel can improve on. Breakfast was good, staff were great (special thanks to Manuel, the security guard at night, for going above and beyond the scope of his work. He gives the guest's car a good wipe in the morning.) This hotel is well situated near rotonda as well. They don't have a restaurant but the fora mall is just 3 minutes walk away if you need something.
- ruth (10/5): - i love the villa where we stayed. the crew were just awesome and the breakfast place and foods were very good. just one thing with the CR, theshower area gets full whenever i take a bath maybe due to alot of used soap in the hole where water should go.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely quaint hote - Close to Fora and Serin malls, ra few steps from rotunda. Love the quiet and homey vibe. Hotel staff were very pleasant and courteus.
- Varun (8/5): Relaxing and comfortable trip - Me and my wife went to Tagaytay for a relaxing trip. The staff is very cooperative and we stayed there for one night. There are few pros:
1. The view from the restaurant is really good. We loved it all the more at the time of the sunrise.
2. The staff prepared an early breakfast for us at 5:30am, as we planned for a early morning hiking trip to Taal Volcano
3. The washroom was clean and bigger than expected
There are only two cons:
1. the Ambassador room has limited privacy as the rooms are located next to the restaurant
2. The bed linen is not so clean and something the hotel management should consider to improve.
Overall, for the price we paid this will definitely go into the list of recommended hotels. Happy Staying! Cheers :)
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice view - The view is ok. Staff is very accomodating, but the problem is the room. Has that moth ball smell bed sheets hs holes in it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Villa - Our only problem about our stay in villa is the toilet bowl not flushing well i think it clogged
- Verified traveler (6/5): Disappointing - No hot water in shower.
No choices for breakfast.
Bedsheet has several large holes.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel - Close to Olivarez Plaza which is handy if you are taking a bus to Tagaytay.
It's only about 10min walk and it's great if you are not lugging heavy / bulky luggage.
- Daneelynn (10/5): - It was amazing. Friendly and accomodatinf staff.
- Irene (10/5): Birthday Staycation - We enjoyed our time together, the staff was great!
- MONICA (8/5): - nice hotel but no available wifi inside the room.
- Cristina (10/5): Short but sweet stay. - It was a short but sweet stay for us. We will definitely go back to this hotel.
- Arlene (6/5): Too expensive for the quality of the room - The hotel is pleasant, staff extra caring and accomodating. Lost 1 tshirt, reported it to the reception. Too bad, V4 room has cockroaches and sliding door not secured enough. Cabinet too large to fit in the room. Breakfast is delicious. View from my room fantastic. Too bad , pool not maintained at all.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Feels like home - price is worth it
- Domino (10/5): Great Hotel with amazing views - We had a fantastic stay at Windy Ridge. The hotel has amazing views over the lake and volcano. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Only downside was there were a few ants on the floor. Hotel had piano player on evenings and at breakfast which was a really nice touch. Overall very happy.
- Cenon Tagum (8/5): ANCOM 2017 in Tagaytay! - The hotel is good and clean all staffs are friendly and very much accomodating and good service. Very nice and scenic view of the Taal Lake the price of the hotel is good and cheap with swimming pool also. I will highly recommend this hotel to other travellers.
- FA (6/5): Accessible hotel - Hotel ambiance is homey. Staff are generally courteous and helpful. The location is perfect within reasonable distance to the mall and the church.
- Edwin (8/5): WINDY RIDGE HOTEL TAGAYTAY - comfortable and accommodating service
- Avic (8/5): cozy hotel in tagaytay - The interior of the hotel is really great, it's clean and well decorated. Although it's small but that is not an issue. The room we stayed in is clean and comfortable, had a view of Taal lake but there are houses within your view. It is windy and i love it! I love the feel of the lobby. They even have a pianist (very nice music!) during breakfast. The staff are really pleasant and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a place to stay overnight in Tagaytay :-)
- Maricar (10/5): - Good location near places of interest. Staff friendly and accommodating.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice clean hotel. Somehere you can rest. But no telephone/intercom to connect to the receptionist. No wake up call
- Sandra Teresi (6/5): Ok for a night - Got to the hotel past check in time. There was no parking space available. They had to call the other guests to fix their cars so I could be accommodated (Only 5 slots at the front of the hotel). No vanity kit!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice view. Good service - They need a bigger parking area. Towels need to be provided immediately instead of waiting for 6 hours for it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): nice view - me and my hubby had a great christmas vacation.. surely we'll come back.
- Manolito (8/5): Close to restaurants and shopping. - The staff were all nice. The buffet breakfast was good.We were there on Christmas eve ,the hotel served complimentary cocktails around 9pm with a guy playing piano in the lobby.
We were able to just walk to the nearby mall to eat and do some shopping.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to stay - Value for money. Place is commuter friendly
- Jessica (8/5): - it was good. Decors were nice. But the bathroom smelled so much it stinked up the entire room even got worse when we opened the exhaust.
- how wan (8/5): - Overall is fantastic just need some touch up on the restroom is ponding
- Kelly (2/5): FALSE ADVERTISING, NO REFUND FROM HOTELS.COM - Booked the Ambasador Suite. When I arrived I was informed there are no welcome drinks, no free dinner, there was also no Jacuzzi in the room as advertised on their site. I asked for a refund and the attendant said to request the refund from Hotels.com. I left the hotel without staying. I went back online to my Hotels.com account and found out I could not cancel the reservation online, and a phone call was required (very inconvenient because there isn't a local number) I contacted Hotels.com from here in Tagaytay Philippines immediately. I had about 250php load on my phone and before the cancelation process was completed, I ran out of load. The Hotels.com representative had all my information that I provided to her including the confirmation/reservation number. She verified my reservation and put me on hold while she contacted Windy Ridge Hotel. That is when my call was interrupted, out of load. 2 days later as I write this review, I have had no further contact from Hotels.com in anyway. No email, no phone call, nothing. No refund has been provided. I have booked dozens of rooms with Hotels.com and am upset about the difficulty I am having. So there is 2 complaints. 1 is the false advertising of the Windy Ridge Hotel, and 2 is the difficulty getting a refund from Hotels.com.
- C (10/5): Clean hotel - We had a wonderful view, rooms were okay. Though we had to walk in the rain to get to the room. Breakfast was so-so, and they didn't have newspapers at the time.
Would I go back again? Yes!
